Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) izdala je u utorak hitno odobrenje za kinesko cjepivo Sinovac protiv covida-19, objavila je ta UN-ova agencija.

Stručno povjerenstvo WHO-a je preporučilo to cjepivo koje se daje u dvije doze u razmaku od dva do četiri tjedna osobama starijima od 18 godina.

To je drugo kinesko cjepivo koje je odobrio WHO, što znači da je ono sada uključeno u međunarodni sustav Covax za raspodjelu cjepiva, posebice siromašnijim zemljama.

"Svijet očajnički treba puno cjepiva protiv covida-19 u suočavanju s golemim nejednakostima u svijetu", izjavila je doktorica Mariangela Simao, zamjenica direktora WHO-a zadužena za pristup lijekovima.

WHO je još 7. svibnja odobrio Sinopharm, još jedno kinesko cjepivo.

Učinkovitost Sinovaca je 57 posto u sprečavanju simptomatskih slučajeva covida-19 i 100 posto u izbjegavanju najtežih oblika i hospitalizacija, naveo je WHO. Učinkovitost za starije od 60 godina nije procjenjivana.

Cjepivo inaktiviranog tipa se lako skladišti, pa je posebno prikladan za siromašne zemlje, naglašava agencija.

Organizacija je također dala zeleno svjetlo cjepivu Moderne, Pfizer-BioNTecha, dva cjepiva AstraZenece proizvedena u Indiji i Južnoj Koreji te za cjepivo Johnson & Johnsona.

Sinovac se već koristi u 22 države, osim Kine u Tunisu, Čileu, Brazilu, Indoneziji, Meksiku, Tajlandu i Turskoj.

Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) izdala je u utorak hitno odobrenje za kinesko cjepivo Sinovac protiv covida-19, objavila je ta UN-ova agencija.

Stručno povjerenstvo WHO-a je preporučilo to cjepivo koje se daje u dvije doze u razmaku od dva do četiri tjedna osobama starijima od 18 godina.

To je drugo kinesko cjepivo koje je odobrio WHO, što znači da je ono sada uključeno u međunarodni sustav Covax za raspodjelu cjepiva, posebice siromašnijim zemljama.

"Svijet očajnički treba puno cjepiva protiv covida-19 u suočavanju s golemim nejednakostima u svijetu", izjavila je doktorica Mariangela Simao, zamjenica direktora WHO-a zadužena za pristup lijekovima.

WHO je još 7. svibnja odobrio Sinopharm, još jedno kinesko cjepivo.

Učinkovitost Sinovaca je 57 posto u sprečavanju simptomatskih slučajeva covida-19 i 100 posto u izbjegavanju najtežih oblika i hospitalizacija, naveo je WHO. Učinkovitost za starije od 60 godina nije procjenjivana.

Cjepivo inaktiviranog tipa se lako skladišti, pa je posebno prikladan za siromašne zemlje, naglašava agencija.

Organizacija je također dala zeleno svjetlo cjepivu Moderne, Pfizer-BioNTecha, dva cjepiva AstraZenece proizvedena u Indiji i Južnoj Koreji te za cjepivo Johnson & Johnsona.

Sinovac se već koristi u 22 države, osim Kine u Tunisu, Čileu, Brazilu, Indoneziji, Meksiku, Tajlandu i Turskoj.

Kinesko cjepivo Sinovac dobilo hitno odobrenje za upotrebu od WHO-a: lako se skladišti, pa će biti prikladno za siromašne zemlje

Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) izdala je u utorak hitno odobrenje za kinesko cjepivo Sinovac protiv covida-19, objavila je ta UN-ova agencija.

Stručno povjerenstvo WHO-a je preporučilo to cjepivo koje se daje u dvije doze u razmaku od dva do četiri tjedna osobama starijima od 18 godina.

To je drugo kinesko cjepivo koje je odobrio WHO, što znači da je ono sada uključeno u međunarodni sustav Covax za raspodjelu cjepiva, posebice siromašnijim zemljama.

"Svijet očajnički treba puno cjepiva protiv covida-19 u suočavanju s golemim nejednakostima u svijetu", izjavila je doktorica Mariangela Simao, zamjenica direktora WHO-a zadužena za pristup lijekovima.

WHO je još 7. svibnja odobrio Sinopharm, još jedno kinesko cjepivo.
