Zapovjednik vojne misije EUFOR-a u BiH, general Alexander Platzer odbacio je mogućnost slanja međunarodnih vojnih snaga u distrikt Brčko, koji se posljednjih dana spominjao kao moguće mjesto izbijanja novog sukoba u Bosni i Hercegovini.

Prvi je s tom tezom izišao šef SDA Bakir Izetbegović, a na njega su se nadovezali još neki od bošnjačkih političara i bivših vojnih dužnosnika..

- Stalno me pitaju o prelasku trupa u Brčko i do danas nisam sasvim shvatio odakle je došao taj zahtjev. Mi smo tamo i trenutno ne vidimo potrebu za dodatnom nazočnošću trupa. Mislim da bi bilo više eskalacije nego deeskalacije ako se trupe pošalju u Brčko – kazao je general Platzer u intervjuu za za austrijski Der Standard, dodajući kako je 'opća sigurnosna situacija u zemlji je stabilna'.

- Međunarodna zajednica izjasnila protiv okupacijskog scenarija prepustivši odgovornost države vlastima. Ne vidim potrebu da se to mijenja – naveo je u istom razgovoru.

Nije mu ništa sporno niti oko naoružanja kojim raspolaže policija u Republici Srpskoj:

- Vrsta opreme koju koristi policija u Republici Srpskoj odgovara međunarodnim standardima. I u Austriji imamo duge puške.

- Temeljna zadaća EUFOR-a podška lokalnim snagama u održavanju sigurnog i stabilnog okruženja. Uz 600 operativnih djelatnika, u oblasti snabdijevanja trenutno ima dodatnih vojnika. Osim toga, EUFOR ima dovoljno rezervnih snaga koje se po potrebi mogu angažirati u bilo kojem trenutku – pojasnio je Platzer, ciljajući na mogućnost da bi dodatne snage mogle doći ih drugih zemalja Balkana, kao i KFOR s Kosova. Radi se o najmanje tisuću vojnika, a po potrebi i više.

- Pripremamo se za određene scenarije. Na godišnju vježbu ove godine kao rezervni sastav došlo je oko 700 vojnika. To je bila planirana vježba koja nam je pokazala da su EU i međunarodna zajednica sposobni djelovati – dao je do znanja zapovjednik EUFOR-a, koji je i najavio mogućnost proširenja lokalnih posmatračkih jedinica po cijeloj zemlji "kako bi se što dublje sagledalo šta se događa".

U istom razgovoru za Der Spiegel postavljeno je i pitanje mogućeg proširenja ovlasti EUFOR-a nauštrb visokog predstavnika međunarodne zajednice (OHR). Evo što je odgovorio austrijski general:

- S vojnog stajališta, ne bi bilo nikakve razlike da se iz teksta mandata EUFOR-a izbrišu reference na OHR kako bismo produžili našu misiju. Da li bi to naštetilo Dejtonskom sporazumu, drugo je pitanje. Ne mogu to procijeniti.

Do ovog Platzerovog istupa došlo je u danu (srijeda kasnije poslijepodne) kada je Vijeće sigurnosti UN-a trebalo odlučiti o produženju mandata EUFOR-a. Iz diplomatskih krugova probila se informacija kako je rezolucija već usuglašena, ali u se u njoj ne spominju OHR i visoki predstavnik.

Nije mali broj onih koji tvrde da je to ustupak Zapada Rusiji, jer je Moskva nakon izbora Nijemca Christiana Schmidta za novog visokog predstavnika zaprijetila da će blokirati produženje misije EUFOR-a u BiH.

- Nema tu ništa novo. Koliko ja vidim u ovom trenutku, kada je u pitanju usuglašenost stavova vezano za rezoluciju Vijeća sigurnosti, bit će produžen mandat vojnim snagama EUFOR-a u BiH i to je glavna stvar. OHR ostaje u svom kapacitetu, ostaje s Bonnskim ovlastima, sa svim onim mehanizmima koji su propisani odgovarajućim rezolucijama Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a.

Ono što je novina kod usvajanja ove rezolucije, ako bude usvojena kako danas stvari stoje, da neće u rezoluciji biti spomenut OHR kao što je to bilo svih dosadašnjih godina kada se produžavao mandat EUFOR-a. Ovo što se događa u Vijeću sigurnosti je ustvari ono što mi proživljavamo u BiH proteklih 10–15 godina jer mi nismo imali proteklih desetak godina nikakvih ozbiljnijih intervencija visokog predstavnika osim one kada je u pitanju zakon o zabrani negiranja genocida – komentirao je bošnjaški član Predsjedništva BiH, Šefik Džaferović.

Zapovjednik vojne misije EUFOR-a u BiH, general Alexander Platzer odbacio je mogućnost slanja međunarodnih vojnih snaga u distrikt Brčko, koji se posljednjih dana spominjao kao moguće mjesto izbijanja novog sukoba u Bosni i Hercegovini.

Prvi je s tom tezom izišao šef SDA Bakir Izetbegović, a na njega su se nadovezali još neki od bošnjačkih političara i bivših vojnih dužnosnika..

- Stalno me pitaju o prelasku trupa u Brčko i do danas nisam sasvim shvatio odakle je došao taj zahtjev. Mi smo tamo i trenutno ne vidimo potrebu za dodatnom nazočnošću trupa. Mislim da bi bilo više eskalacije nego deeskalacije ako se trupe pošalju u Brčko – kazao je general Platzer u intervjuu za za austrijski Der Standard, dodajući kako je 'opća sigurnosna situacija u zemlji je stabilna'.

- Međunarodna zajednica izjasnila protiv okupacijskog scenarija prepustivši odgovornost države vlastima. Ne vidim potrebu da se to mijenja – naveo je u istom razgovoru.

Nije mu ništa sporno niti oko naoružanja kojim raspolaže policija u Republici Srpskoj:

- Vrsta opreme koju koristi policija u Republici Srpskoj odgovara međunarodnim standardima. I u Austriji imamo duge puške.

- Temeljna zadaća EUFOR-a podška lokalnim snagama u održavanju sigurnog i stabilnog okruženja. Uz 600 operativnih djelatnika, u oblasti snabdijevanja trenutno ima dodatnih vojnika. Osim toga, EUFOR ima dovoljno rezervnih snaga koje se po potrebi mogu angažirati u bilo kojem trenutku – pojasnio je Platzer, ciljajući na mogućnost da bi dodatne snage mogle doći ih drugih zemalja Balkana, kao i KFOR s Kosova. Radi se o najmanje tisuću vojnika, a po potrebi i više.

- Pripremamo se za određene scenarije. Na godišnju vježbu ove godine kao rezervni sastav došlo je oko 700 vojnika. To je bila planirana vježba koja nam je pokazala da su EU i međunarodna zajednica sposobni djelovati – dao je do znanja zapovjednik EUFOR-a, koji je i najavio mogućnost proširenja lokalnih posmatračkih jedinica po cijeloj zemlji "kako bi se što dublje sagledalo šta se događa".

U istom razgovoru za Der Spiegel postavljeno je i pitanje mogućeg proširenja ovlasti EUFOR-a nauštrb visokog predstavnika međunarodne zajednice (OHR). Evo što je odgovorio austrijski general:

- S vojnog stajališta, ne bi bilo nikakve razlike da se iz teksta mandata EUFOR-a izbrišu reference na OHR kako bismo produžili našu misiju. Da li bi to naštetilo Dejtonskom sporazumu, drugo je pitanje. Ne mogu to procijeniti.

Do ovog Platzerovog istupa došlo je u danu (srijeda kasnije poslijepodne) kada je Vijeće sigurnosti UN-a trebalo odlučiti o produženju mandata EUFOR-a. Iz diplomatskih krugova probila se informacija kako je rezolucija već usuglašena, ali u se u njoj ne spominju OHR i visoki predstavnik.

Nije mali broj onih koji tvrde da je to ustupak Zapada Rusiji, jer je Moskva nakon izbora Nijemca Christiana Schmidta za novog visokog predstavnika zaprijetila da će blokirati produženje misije EUFOR-a u BiH.

- Nema tu ništa novo. Koliko ja vidim u ovom trenutku, kada je u pitanju usuglašenost stavova vezano za rezoluciju Vijeća sigurnosti, bit će produžen mandat vojnim snagama EUFOR-a u BiH i to je glavna stvar. OHR ostaje u svom kapacitetu, ostaje s Bonnskim ovlastima, sa svim onim mehanizmima koji su propisani odgovarajućim rezolucijama Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a.

Ono što je novina kod usvajanja ove rezolucije, ako bude usvojena kako danas stvari stoje, da neće u rezoluciji biti spomenut OHR kao što je to bilo svih dosadašnjih godina kada se produžavao mandat EUFOR-a. Ovo što se događa u Vijeću sigurnosti je ustvari ono što mi proživljavamo u BiH proteklih 10–15 godina jer mi nismo imali proteklih desetak godina nikakvih ozbiljnijih intervencija visokog predstavnika osim one kada je u pitanju zakon o zabrani negiranja genocida – komentirao je bošnjaški član Predsjedništva BiH, Šefik Džaferović.

Zapovjednik vojne misije EUFOR-a u BiH, general Alexander Platzer odbacio je mogućnost slanja međunarodnih vojnih snaga u distrikt Brčko, koji se posljednjih dana spominjao kao moguće mjesto izbijanja novog sukoba u Bosni i Hercegovini.

Prvi je s tom tezom izišao šef SDA Bakir Izetbegović, a na njega su se nadovezali još neki od bošnjačkih političara i bivših vojnih dužnosnika..

- Stalno me pitaju o prelasku trupa u Brčko i do danas nisam sasvim shvatio odakle je došao taj zahtjev. Mi smo tamo i trenutno ne vidimo potrebu za dodatnom nazočnošću trupa.
