Vlasti u BiH nastoje spriječiti donošenje odluke kojom bi Mađarska preuzela zapovjedništvo nad misijom EUFOR-a a razlog tog protivljenja su im bliske veze koje je mađarski premijer Viktor Orban uspostavio s liderom bosanskih Srba Miloradom Dodikom, potvrdio je ministar obrane BiH Zukan Helez.

Helez je to kazao uoči puta u Beč i sastanka s Klaudiom Tanner, ministricom obrane Austrije koja trenutačno ima svog generala na čelu EUFOR-a.

Vojna operacija Europske unije u BiH pod nazivom "Althea" uspostavljena je 2002. godine kada je okončana misija SFOR-a što ju je predvodio NATO a zadaća znatno manjeg kontigenta vojnika iz država Unije i pridruženih zemalja ostala je nadzirati poštivanje Daytonskog sporazuma i stanja sigurnosti.

Prvi zapovjednik EUFOR-a bio je britanski general David Leaky, no kako se postupno smanjivao broj vojnika tako su se mijenjali i zapovjednici, a u proteklim godinama po pravilu su na toj dužnosti bili austrijski časnici pa je to od siječnja ove godine general Helmut Habermayer koji ima jednogodišnji mandat.

Austrijska je vlada ranije najavila kako kani odustati od nominiranja svojih generala za zapovjednike EUFOR-a jer su joj svi vojni resursi potrebni u zemlji kako bi kontrolirali migrantsku krizu.

Mađarska je odmah nakon toga iskazala spremnost preuzeti zapovjedanje EUFOR-om a nagađa se kako je Budimpešta već odredila da će novi zapovjednik biti njihov general Laszlo Sticz.

Konačnu odluku o tome treba donijeti Politički i sigurnosni odbor EU a u dijelu političkih krugova u BiH prevladava ocjena kako Mađarska nije dobar izbor.

"U Austriju idem zbog produženja mandata (misije) Althea. Problematično je tko će biti zapovjednik", kazao je Helez za TV Federacije BiH (FTV).

Potvrdio je kako je cilj pokušati ishoditi da Austrijanci i daje vode EUFOR odnono blokirati planove Mađarske.

"Nemamo ništa protiv Mađarske, ali s obzirom na Orbanove stavove i stavove oko BiH, moramo reagirati kako bismo pokušali to spriječiti. Orbanov režim je sličan onome Dodika i Putina", kazao je ministar obrane BiH.

Na pitanje ima li što protiv sudjelovanja Hrvatske vojske u misiji "Althea" što je ranije predlagao hrvatski predjednik Zoran Milanović, Helez je odgovorio konstatacijom kako je rasprava o tome suvišna.

"To je davno definirano i ne bih ulazio u te zamke. Potpuno je nebitno. Imamo pripadnika toliko država, to je multietnički sastav. Nama je bitno da ovdje bude mir i da sačuvamo stabilnost", kazao je.

Ministar obrane BiH Zukan Helez rekao je kako je rasprava o prijedlogu Zorana Milanovića o sudjelovanju Hrvatske vojske u misiji ‘Althea‘ suvišna

Vlasti u BiH nastoje spriječiti donošenje odluke kojom bi Mađarska preuzela zapovjedništvo nad misijom EUFOR-a a razlog tog protivljenja su im bliske veze koje je mađarski premijer Viktor Orban uspostavio s liderom bosanskih Srba Miloradom Dodikom, potvrdio je ministar obrane BiH Zukan Helez.

Helez je to kazao uoči puta u Beč i sastanka s Klaudiom Tanner, ministricom obrane Austrije koja trenutačno ima svog generala na čelu EUFOR-a.

Vojna operacija Europske unije u BiH pod nazivom "Althea" uspostavljena je 2002. godine kada je okončana misija SFOR-a što ju je predvodio NATO a zadaća znatno manjeg kontigenta vojnika iz država Unije i pridruženih zemalja ostala je nadzirati poštivanje Daytonskog sporazuma i stanja sigurnosti.

Prvi zapovjednik EUFOR-a bio je britanski general David Leaky, no kako se postupno smanjivao broj vojnika tako su se mijenjali i zapovjednici, a u proteklim godinama po pravilu su na toj dužnosti bili austrijski časnici pa je to od siječnja ove godine general Helmut Habermayer koji ima jednogodišnji mandat.

Austrijska je vlada ranije najavila kako kani odustati od nominiranja svojih generala za zapovjednike EUFOR-a jer su joj svi vojni resursi potrebni u zemlji kako bi kontrolirali migrantsku krizu.

Mađarska je odmah nakon toga iskazala spremnost preuzeti zapovjedanje EUFOR-om a nagađa se kako je Budimpešta već odredila da će novi zapovjednik biti njihov general Laszlo Sticz.

Konačnu odluku o tome treba donijeti Politički i sigurnosni odbor EU a u dijelu političkih krugova u BiH prevladava ocjena kako Mađarska nije dobar izbor.

"U Austriju idem zbog produženja mandata (misije) Althea. Problematično je tko će biti zapovjednik", kazao je Helez za TV Federacije BiH (FTV).

Potvrdio je kako je cilj pokušati ishoditi da Austrijanci i daje vode EUFOR odnono blokirati planove Mađarske.

"Nemamo ništa protiv Mađarske, ali s obzirom na Orbanove stavove i stavove oko BiH, moramo reagirati kako bismo pokušali to spriječiti. Orbanov režim je sličan onome Dodika i Putina", kazao je ministar obrane BiH.

Na pitanje ima li što protiv sudjelovanja Hrvatske vojske u misiji "Althea" što je ranije predlagao hrvatski predjednik Zoran Milanović, Helez je odgovorio konstatacijom kako je rasprava o tome suvišna.

"To je davno definirano i ne bih ulazio u te zamke. Potpuno je nebitno. Imamo pripadnika toliko država, to je multietnički sastav. Nama je bitno da ovdje bude mir i da sačuvamo stabilnost", kazao je.
