Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenskij rekao je u petak da most koji povezuje poluotok Krim s Rusijom "donosi rat, a ne mir" te je stoga vojna meta.

Eksplozije na Krimskom ili Kerčkom mostu u ponedjeljak ubile su dvoje civila i stavile izvan upotrebe dio cestovnog mosta, koji se tek nedavno vratio u punu funkciju nakon što je teško oštećen u sličnom napadu u listopadu.

Ukrajina je pozdravila napad u ponedjeljak, ali dužnosnici nisu izravno preuzeli odgovornost.

Moskva je okrivila Ukrajinu.

Krim je Rusija anektirala 2014. i Kijev ga želi vratiti dok se bori protiv ruske 17-mjesečne invazije.

Cestovni i željeznički most koji je izgradila Rusija i pustila u promet 2018. "nije samo logistička cesta", rekao je Zelenskij, obraćajući se videovezom sigurnosnoj konferenciji u Aspenu u Sjedinjenim Državama.

"To je ruta koja se koristi za hranjenje rata streljivom i to se radi svakodnevno. I militarizira Krimski poluotok", rekao je Zelenskij.

"Za nas je to razumljivo neprijateljski objekt izgrađen izvan međunarodnih zakona i svih primjenjivih normi. Dakle, razumljivo, to je za nas meta. A meta koja donosi rat, a ne mir, mora biti neutralizirana."

Zelenskij je, odgovarajući na pitanja moderatora, zanijekao bilo kakvu vezu između napada i ovotjednog povlačenja Rusije iz sporazuma o izvozu žitarica iz ukrajinskih luka.

Rusija, rekao je, od samog početka koči žitni koridor.

"Naknadno su se pozvali na ovu situaciju oko Krimskog mosta", rekao je. "Da nije Krimski most, našli bi drugi primjer, drugi razlog."

Dugo očekivana protuofenziva ukrajinske vojske, pokrenuta prošlog mjeseca, trebala je vremena za pripremu jer su ruske okupacijske snage postavile nekoliko obrambenih linija i opsežno minirale ukrajinski teritorij, rekao je Zelenskij.

Predsjednik je ponovio prethodnu ocjenu da se protuofenziva odvija sporije nego što bi on želio.

Kampanja je do sada bila usmjerena na zauzimanje sela na jugu i ponovno preuzimanje područja koja je Rusija zauzela posljednjih mjeseci na istoku.

"Ukrajina ne uzmiče. Ona postupno oslobađa svoje teritorije, što je vrlo važno", rekao je Zelenskij.

"Ipak, vjerujem da se približavamo trenutku kada operacije mogu dobiti na tempu. Razumijem da je bolje da pobjeda dođe brže. To je ono što i mi želimo."

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenskij rekao je u petak da most koji povezuje poluotok Krim s Rusijom "donosi rat, a ne mir" te je stoga vojna meta.

Eksplozije na Krimskom ili Kerčkom mostu u ponedjeljak ubile su dvoje civila i stavile izvan upotrebe dio cestovnog mosta, koji se tek nedavno vratio u punu funkciju nakon što je teško oštećen u sličnom napadu u listopadu.

Ukrajina je pozdravila napad u ponedjeljak, ali dužnosnici nisu izravno preuzeli odgovornost.

Moskva je okrivila Ukrajinu.

Krim je Rusija anektirala 2014. i Kijev ga želi vratiti dok se bori protiv ruske 17-mjesečne invazije.

Cestovni i željeznički most koji je izgradila Rusija i pustila u promet 2018. "nije samo logistička cesta", rekao je Zelenskij, obraćajući se videovezom sigurnosnoj konferenciji u Aspenu u Sjedinjenim Državama.

"To je ruta koja se koristi za hranjenje rata streljivom i to se radi svakodnevno. I militarizira Krimski poluotok", rekao je Zelenskij.

"Za nas je to razumljivo neprijateljski objekt izgrađen izvan međunarodnih zakona i svih primjenjivih normi. Dakle, razumljivo, to je za nas meta. A meta koja donosi rat, a ne mir, mora biti neutralizirana."

Zelenskij je, odgovarajući na pitanja moderatora, zanijekao bilo kakvu vezu između napada i ovotjednog povlačenja Rusije iz sporazuma o izvozu žitarica iz ukrajinskih luka.

Rusija, rekao je, od samog početka koči žitni koridor.

"Naknadno su se pozvali na ovu situaciju oko Krimskog mosta", rekao je. "Da nije Krimski most, našli bi drugi primjer, drugi razlog."

Dugo očekivana protuofenziva ukrajinske vojske, pokrenuta prošlog mjeseca, trebala je vremena za pripremu jer su ruske okupacijske snage postavile nekoliko obrambenih linija i opsežno minirale ukrajinski teritorij, rekao je Zelenskij.

Predsjednik je ponovio prethodnu ocjenu da se protuofenziva odvija sporije nego što bi on želio.

Kampanja je do sada bila usmjerena na zauzimanje sela na jugu i ponovno preuzimanje područja koja je Rusija zauzela posljednjih mjeseci na istoku.

"Ukrajina ne uzmiče. Ona postupno oslobađa svoje teritorije, što je vrlo važno", rekao je Zelenskij.

"Ipak, vjerujem da se približavamo trenutku kada operacije mogu dobiti na tempu. Razumijem da je bolje da pobjeda dođe brže. To je ono što i mi želimo."
