Evo opet zlih Rusa. Nakon što je distribucija zapadnih cjepiva širom EU-a doživjela krah, a sve više se članica počelo okretati ruskom cjepivu Sputnjik V, Zapad lansira novi antiruski narativ, po kojem Moskva namjerno nudi svoje cjepivo kako bi posijala razdor u Europi.

„Potpuno je jasno da je Sputnjik V postao vrsta meke sile za Rusiju. Politički cilj ruske strategije je podijeliti Zapad”, kaže tako za agenciju AFP analitičar Michal Baranowski iz varšavskog ureda američkog političkog think tanka German Marshall Fund.

„Ruska diplomacija cjepiva očito ima za cilj potkopati međusobno povjerenje i koheziju u Europi”, drži i Pavel Havlicek, analitičar u Udruženju za međunarodne poslove, a češki politolog Jiri Pehe prisnažuje da je Sputnjik V „oruđe političke borbe i propagande”.

„Ne smijemo se dati zavarati Kinom i Rusijom, režimima s vrijednostima koje su nam manje poželjne, dok organiziraju uvelike reklamirane operacije dostave cjepiva drugim zemljama”, svoj je doprinos ovom antiruskom (i antikineskom) narativu dao i sâm predsjednik Vijeća EU-a Charles Michel.

Ukratko: Sputnjik V je propagandni alat Kremlja, kojim Putin želi oslabiti EU i povećati utjecaj Moskve u Europi. Tko uzme rusko cjepivo, taj je izdajnik europskih vrijednosti.

Netko trlja ruke, netko čupa kosu

Jednu stvar valja odmah riješiti. Činjenica da Kremlj koristi cjepivo za propagandu i popravljanje imidža Rusije u svijetu - nije uopće sporna. Spremnošću da distribuira svoje cjepivo po svijetu (Sputnjik V dosad je naručen u skoro 50 zemalja s četiri kontinenta) Rusija pokazuje da je, osim oružja i energenata, sposobna izvoziti i druge, sofisticirane artikle.

Jasno da propagandni odjel Kremlja zbog toga „trlja ruke” (kao što propagandni odjeli na Zapadu zbog toga „čupaju kosu”). Ali to nije razlog da Europa okrene leđa Sputnjiku V. Tko je Bruxellesu branio da Europljanima pravovremeno osigura zapadna cjepiva?

Kao argument da Moskva koristi cjepivo za politički probitak često se navodi da Rusija ne može proizvesti dovoljno cjepiva ni za svoje potrebe, kamoli za europske. Pritom se prešućuje da baš zato Rusija nudi mogućnost proizvodnje cjepiva u drugim zemljama.

Nakon što je Moskva poručila da je primila prednarudžbe za više od milijardu doza, ali da ne može sama udovoljiti tolikoj potražnji, ruski fond za izravna ulaganja (RDIF) - koji je financirao razvoj cjepiva - objavio je da će se Sputnjik V proizvoditi u Indiji, Južnoj Koreji, Brazilu, Kini, Turskoj, Bjelorusiji i Kazahstanu (koji je u veljači već proizveo 90.000 doza), možda i u Iranu.

Prvi ugovor

Uz to, prošlog tjedna potpisan je i prvi ugovor za proizvodnju ruskog cjepiva u zapadnoj Europi: sporazumom između Italije i švicarske biofarmaceutske tvrtke Adienne, Sputnjik V će se proizvoditi u tvrtkinim pogonima kod Milana, čime Italija postaje prva zemlja EU-a koja će proizvoditi rusko cjepivo.

„Ovo je prvi takav sporazum u Europi. Ovaj povijesni trenutak je ujedno i potvrda dobrih odnosa između naših zemalja, kao i potvrda da talijanske tvrtke mogu stvari sagledati izvan političkih razlika”, rekao je tada šef talijansko-ruske gospodarske komore Vincenzo Trani, dodavši da će se ove godine u Italiji proizvesti 10 milijuna doza ruskog cjepiva.

I dok se prašina diže za Sputnjikom V – koji je proizveden u moskovskom Institutu Gamaleja - Rusija razvija još dva cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Još u listopadu u Rusiji je odobreno cjepivo EpiVacCorona – razvio ga je državni institut Vektor u Novosibirsku – čija je proizvodnja već počela (ovim cjepivom već je cijepljeno 45.000 ruskih građana), a u veljači je odobreno i treće cjepivo, koje je pod imenom CoviVac razvio Institut Čumakov.

Generalno možemo reći da se virus pokazao pametnijim od europske političke elite u Bruxellesu, pokazavši jasno što bi trebao biti EU imperativ u odnosima prema Rusiji – suradnja, a ne sankcije. No čini se da Europa to shvati samo jednom u svakom stoljeću, i to u izvanrednim okolnostima, kada je napadnu Hitler ili COVID-19.

Iz Kube stiže Soberanu-2


Nedavno smo pisali da Kuba paralelno razvija četiri cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, od kojih je cjepivo Soberana-2 došlo u treću fazu testiranja. U međuvremenu je kubanski državni Institut za cijepljenje „Finlay” najavio da će kraja godine proizvesti čak 100 milijuna doza ovog cjepiva.
„Reorganizirali smo svoje proizvodne kapacitete, jer imamo zaista veliku potražnju i moramo se pripremiti”, poručio je nedavno glavni direktor instituta Vicente Vérez.
Budući da Kuba ima tek nešto više od 11 milijuna stanovnika, jasno je da će većina proizvedenog cjepiva biti namijenjena izvozu. Interes za Soberanu-2 već su pokazali Indija, Pakistan, Iran, Vijetnam, Venezuela...

Evo opet zlih Rusa. Nakon što je distribucija zapadnih cjepiva širom EU-a doživjela krah, a sve više se članica počelo okretati ruskom cjepivu Sputnjik V, Zapad lansira novi antiruski narativ, po kojem Moskva namjerno nudi svoje cjepivo kako bi posijala razdor u Europi.

„Potpuno je jasno da je Sputnjik V postao vrsta meke sile za Rusiju. Politički cilj ruske strategije je podijeliti Zapad”, kaže tako za agenciju AFP analitičar Michal Baranowski iz varšavskog ureda američkog političkog think tanka German Marshall Fund.

„Ruska diplomacija cjepiva očito ima za cilj potkopati međusobno povjerenje i koheziju u Europi”, drži i Pavel Havlicek, analitičar u Udruženju za međunarodne poslove, a češki politolog Jiri Pehe prisnažuje da je Sputnjik V „oruđe političke borbe i propagande”.

„Ne smijemo se dati zavarati Kinom i Rusijom, režimima s vrijednostima koje su nam manje poželjne, dok organiziraju uvelike reklamirane operacije dostave cjepiva drugim zemljama”, svoj je doprinos ovom antiruskom (i antikineskom) narativu dao i sâm predsjednik Vijeća EU-a Charles Michel.

Ukratko: Sputnjik V je propagandni alat Kremlja, kojim Putin želi oslabiti EU i povećati utjecaj Moskve u Europi. Tko uzme rusko cjepivo, taj je izdajnik europskih vrijednosti.

Netko trlja ruke, netko čupa kosu

Jednu stvar valja odmah riješiti. Činjenica da Kremlj koristi cjepivo za propagandu i popravljanje imidža Rusije u svijetu - nije uopće sporna. Spremnošću da distribuira svoje cjepivo po svijetu (Sputnjik V dosad je naručen u skoro 50 zemalja s četiri kontinenta) Rusija pokazuje da je, osim oružja i energenata, sposobna izvoziti i druge, sofisticirane artikle.

Jasno da propagandni odjel Kremlja zbog toga „trlja ruke” (kao što propagandni odjeli na Zapadu zbog toga „čupaju kosu”). Ali to nije razlog da Europa okrene leđa Sputnjiku V. Tko je Bruxellesu branio da Europljanima pravovremeno osigura zapadna cjepiva?

Kao argument da Moskva koristi cjepivo za politički probitak često se navodi da Rusija ne može proizvesti dovoljno cjepiva ni za svoje potrebe, kamoli za europske. Pritom se prešućuje da baš zato Rusija nudi mogućnost proizvodnje cjepiva u drugim zemljama.

Nakon što je Moskva poručila da je primila prednarudžbe za više od milijardu doza, ali da ne može sama udovoljiti tolikoj potražnji, ruski fond za izravna ulaganja (RDIF) - koji je financirao razvoj cjepiva - objavio je da će se Sputnjik V proizvoditi u Indiji, Južnoj Koreji, Brazilu, Kini, Turskoj, Bjelorusiji i Kazahstanu (koji je u veljači već proizveo 90.000 doza), možda i u Iranu.

Prvi ugovor

Uz to, prošlog tjedna potpisan je i prvi ugovor za proizvodnju ruskog cjepiva u zapadnoj Europi: sporazumom između Italije i švicarske biofarmaceutske tvrtke Adienne, Sputnjik V će se proizvoditi u tvrtkinim pogonima kod Milana, čime Italija postaje prva zemlja EU-a koja će proizvoditi rusko cjepivo.

„Ovo je prvi takav sporazum u Europi. Ovaj povijesni trenutak je ujedno i potvrda dobrih odnosa između naših zemalja, kao i potvrda da talijanske tvrtke mogu stvari sagledati izvan političkih razlika”, rekao je tada šef talijansko-ruske gospodarske komore Vincenzo Trani, dodavši da će se ove godine u Italiji proizvesti 10 milijuna doza ruskog cjepiva.

I dok se prašina diže za Sputnjikom V – koji je proizveden u moskovskom Institutu Gamaleja - Rusija razvija još dva cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Još u listopadu u Rusiji je odobreno cjepivo EpiVacCorona – razvio ga je državni institut Vektor u Novosibirsku – čija je proizvodnja već počela (ovim cjepivom već je cijepljeno 45.000 ruskih građana), a u veljači je odobreno i treće cjepivo, koje je pod imenom CoviVac razvio Institut Čumakov.

Generalno možemo reći da se virus pokazao pametnijim od europske političke elite u Bruxellesu, pokazavši jasno što bi trebao biti EU imperativ u odnosima prema Rusiji – suradnja, a ne sankcije. No čini se da Europa to shvati samo jednom u svakom stoljeću, i to u izvanrednim okolnostima, kada je napadnu Hitler ili COVID-19.

Iz Kube stiže Soberanu-2


Nedavno smo pisali da Kuba paralelno razvija četiri cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, od kojih je cjepivo Soberana-2 došlo u treću fazu testiranja. U međuvremenu je kubanski državni Institut za cijepljenje „Finlay” najavio da će kraja godine proizvesti čak 100 milijuna doza ovog cjepiva.
„Reorganizirali smo svoje proizvodne kapacitete, jer imamo zaista veliku potražnju i moramo se pripremiti”, poručio je nedavno glavni direktor instituta Vicente Vérez.
Budući da Kuba ima tek nešto više od 11 milijuna stanovnika, jasno je da će većina proizvedenog cjepiva biti namijenjena izvozu. Interes za Soberanu-2 već su pokazali Indija, Pakistan, Iran, Vijetnam, Venezuela...
