Cjepivo za covid-19 tvrtke Bharat Biotech prvo je u Indiji koje je dobilo zeleno svjetlo vladinog regulatora lijekova za testiranje na ljudima u zemlji s više od 1.3 milijardi ljudi koja bilježi veliki porast novozaraženih.

Indijski regulator lijekova odobrio je zahtjev tvrtke za ispitivanje Covaxina koji je razvijen zajedno s Nacionalnim institutom za virologiju, priopćila je tvrtka.

U srpnju bi trebalo započeti testiranje cjepiva na ljudima diljem zemlje. Cjepivo je razvijeno i proizvedeno u postrojenju tvrtke Bharat Biotech u Hyderabadu.

Indija, koja ima manje zaraženih samo od Sjedinjenih Država, Brazila i Rusije, zabilježila je u ponedjeljak gotovo 20.000 novih zaraza, pokazuju podaci ministarstva zdravstva.

U Indiji je umrlo više od 16.000 zaraženih od pojave prvog slučaja u siječnju, što je malo u usporedbi sa zemljama sa sličnim brojem slučajeva.

No stručnjaci strahuju da bolnice u gusto naseljenoj zemlji neće moći izdržati nagli porast slučajeva.

Još nije odobreno cjepivo za komercijalnu uporabu protiv koronavirusa, ali se deseci cjepiva širom svijeta testiraju na ljudima.

Kineska vojska dobila je dozvolu za uporabu cjepiva protiv covida-19 koji je razvila njihova istraživačka jedinica i CanSino Biologics nakon što je kliničkim ispitivanjima dokazana sigurnost cjepiva i otkrivena određena učinkovitost, priopćila je tvrtka.

Cjepivo za covid-19 tvrtke Bharat Biotech prvo je u Indiji koje je dobilo zeleno svjetlo vladinog regulatora lijekova za testiranje na ljudima u zemlji s više od 1.3 milijardi ljudi koja bilježi veliki porast novozaraženih.

Indijski regulator lijekova odobrio je zahtjev tvrtke za ispitivanje Covaxina koji je razvijen zajedno s Nacionalnim institutom za virologiju, priopćila je tvrtka.

U srpnju bi trebalo započeti testiranje cjepiva na ljudima diljem zemlje. Cjepivo je razvijeno i proizvedeno u postrojenju tvrtke Bharat Biotech u Hyderabadu.

Indija, koja ima manje zaraženih samo od Sjedinjenih Država, Brazila i Rusije, zabilježila je u ponedjeljak gotovo 20.000 novih zaraza, pokazuju podaci ministarstva zdravstva.

U Indiji je umrlo više od 16.000 zaraženih od pojave prvog slučaja u siječnju, što je malo u usporedbi sa zemljama sa sličnim brojem slučajeva.

No stručnjaci strahuju da bolnice u gusto naseljenoj zemlji neće moći izdržati nagli porast slučajeva.

Još nije odobreno cjepivo za komercijalnu uporabu protiv koronavirusa, ali se deseci cjepiva širom svijeta testiraju na ljudima.

Kineska vojska dobila je dozvolu za uporabu cjepiva protiv covida-19 koji je razvila njihova istraživačka jedinica i CanSino Biologics nakon što je kliničkim ispitivanjima dokazana sigurnost cjepiva i otkrivena određena učinkovitost, priopćila je tvrtka.
