Ubuduće će se naziv ‘Turkiye’ koristiti u svim vrstama službenih državnih aktivnosti i korespondencije, odlučile su vlasti, prenosi Dnevnik.ba.
Turske vlasti odlučile su 'rebrendirati' imidž zemlje u svijetu, a turska televizija TRT objavila je i zašto.
Ranije ovog mjeseca, turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan objavio je priopćenje, mijenjajući međunarodno priznato ime zemlje iz "Turkey" u "Turkiye", objasnila je ova televizija.
- Riječ "Turkiye" reprezentira i izražava kulturu, civilizaciju i vrijednosti turske nacije na najbolji način - stoji u priopćenju.
Promjena imena države nije tako rijetka pojava kao što se misli.
Nacionalno rebrendiranje može se dogoditi iz cijela niza razloga, da se postavi iznad stereotipa, predstavi se u boljem svjetlu te iz različitih političkih razloga.
TRT navodi primjer Holandije, koja je promijenila ime u Nizozemska, ili Makedonije, koja je odnedavno zbog spora s Grčkom, postala Sjeverna Makedonija.
Iran je 1935. godine promijenio ime, koje je ranije glasilo Perzija.
Na turskom jeziku, zemlja se zove Turkiye. Ta država prihvatila je to ime nakon što je 1923. godine dobila nezavisnost od zapadnih okupatorskih sila.
Tijekom stoljeća, Europljani su je znali kao Otomansku državu, a onda su je poznavali pod mnogim varijacijama riječi "Turkiye". Naziv koji se najviše zadržao bio je na latinskom "Turquia", a sveprisutniji je bio "Turkey", navodi Dnevnik.ba.
Prema rječniku Cambridgea, riječ "turkey" (eng. purica) u prenesenom značenju predstavlja "nešto što loše pada" te "glupu ili smiješnu osobu".
Velika većina ljudi u Turskoj smatra da nazivanje zemlje prema njeZInoj lokalnoj varijaciji ima smisla i da je u skladu s ciljevima zemlje i s njezinim pravom da odredi kako bi je drugi trebali identificirati.
U skladu s tim, nedavno objavljeno priopćenje je jasno navelo da će "u okviru jačanja brenda Turkiye, u svim vrstama aktivnosti i korespondencije, posebno u službenim odnosima s drugim državama i međunarodnim institucijama i organizacijama, biti korišten izraz Türkiye, umjesto Turkey, Turkei, Turquie i slično".
Tako, recimo, turska državna novinska agencija koja ima regionalno sjedište u Sarajevu, Tursku od prije nekoliko dana naziva "Republika Turkiye", prenosi Dnevnik.ba.

Ubuduće će se naziv ‘Turkiye’ koristiti u svim vrstama službenih državnih aktivnosti i korespondencije, odlučile su vlasti, prenosi Dnevnik.ba.
Turske vlasti odlučile su 'rebrendirati' imidž zemlje u svijetu, a turska televizija TRT objavila je i zašto.
Ranije ovog mjeseca, turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan objavio je priopćenje, mijenjajući međunarodno priznato ime zemlje iz "Turkey" u "Turkiye", objasnila je ova televizija.
- Riječ "Turkiye" reprezentira i izražava kulturu, civilizaciju i vrijednosti turske nacije na najbolji način - stoji u priopćenju.
Promjena imena države nije tako rijetka pojava kao što se misli.
Nacionalno rebrendiranje može se dogoditi iz cijela niza razloga, da se postavi iznad stereotipa, predstavi se u boljem svjetlu te iz različitih političkih razloga.
TRT navodi primjer Holandije, koja je promijenila ime u Nizozemska, ili Makedonije, koja je odnedavno zbog spora s Grčkom, postala Sjeverna Makedonija.
Iran je 1935. godine promijenio ime, koje je ranije glasilo Perzija.
Na turskom jeziku, zemlja se zove Turkiye. Ta država prihvatila je to ime nakon što je 1923. godine dobila nezavisnost od zapadnih okupatorskih sila.
Tijekom stoljeća, Europljani su je znali kao Otomansku državu, a onda su je poznavali pod mnogim varijacijama riječi "Turkiye". Naziv koji se najviše zadržao bio je na latinskom "Turquia", a sveprisutniji je bio "Turkey", navodi Dnevnik.ba.
Prema rječniku Cambridgea, riječ "turkey" (eng. purica) u prenesenom značenju predstavlja "nešto što loše pada" te "glupu ili smiješnu osobu".
Velika većina ljudi u Turskoj smatra da nazivanje zemlje prema njeZInoj lokalnoj varijaciji ima smisla i da je u skladu s ciljevima zemlje i s njezinim pravom da odredi kako bi je drugi trebali identificirati.
U skladu s tim, nedavno objavljeno priopćenje je jasno navelo da će "u okviru jačanja brenda Turkiye, u svim vrstama aktivnosti i korespondencije, posebno u službenim odnosima s drugim državama i međunarodnim institucijama i organizacijama, biti korišten izraz Türkiye, umjesto Turkey, Turkei, Turquie i slično".
Tako, recimo, turska državna novinska agencija koja ima regionalno sjedište u Sarajevu, Tursku od prije nekoliko dana naziva "Republika Turkiye", prenosi Dnevnik.ba.
