Američki i kineski znanstvenici planirali su stvoriti novi koronavirus prije izbijanja pandemije, pokazuju novi podaci koji su procurili. Naime, prošlog mjeseca je zahtjev za bespovratna sredstva podnesen američkoj Agenciji za napredne istraživačke projekte obrane (Darpa) otkrio da je međunarodni tim znanstvenika planirao miješati genske podatke sličnih sojeva za stvaranje novog virusa, piše Daily Mail, a prenosi Net.hr.

Zahtjev za bespovratna sredstva je podnesen 2018. godine i procurio je u Drasticu, grupi za analizu podrijetla pandemije. Kako je za The Telegraph rekao ekspert iz Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, takav bi eksperiment rezultirao stvaranjem virusa kakav ne postoji u prirodi.

Stručnjak, koji je zatražio da ostane anoniman, rekao je da bi takva metoda, ako je provedena, mogla objasniti zašto u prirodi nikada nije pronađen virus koji je sličan Sars-CoV-2 virusu. Najbliži prirodni virus je soj Banal-52, prijavljen u Laosu prošlog mjeseca. On dijeli 96,8 posto genoma Covida-19.

Do sada nije pronađen nijedan izravni predak, za koji se očekuje da dijeli 99,98 posto sličnosti sa Sars-CoV-2. Stručnjak je rekao za The Telegraph da bi proces opisan u prijavi stvorio "novu sekvencu virusa, a ne 100-postotnu podudarnost s bilo čim".

"Zatim bi sintetizirali virusni genom iz računalne sekvence, stvarajući tako virusni genom koji ne postoji u prirodi, ali izgleda prirodno jer je prosjek prirodnih virusa. Zatim bi stavili tu RNK u stanicu i iz nje vratili virus. Time bi se stvorio virus koji nikada nije postojao u prirodi, s novom 'osnovom' koja nije postojala u prirodi, ali je vrlo, vrlo slična jer je prosjek prirodnih osnova", rekao je stručnjak.

Američke uplate u Wuhan

Prijedlog je odbijen, a baza virusnih sojeva na Institutu za virusologiju u Wuhanu je ugašena 18 mjeseci kasnije, što je onemogućilo provjeru na čemu su znanstvenici radili i što se događalo.

Znanstvenici instituta uporno su negirali optužbe da su stvorili koronavirus u laboratoriju. Prijedlog prijave za bespovratna sredstva podnio je britanski zoolog Peter Daszak u ime grupe, koja je uključivala Daszak EcoHealth Alliance, Institut za virusologiju Wuhan, Sveučilište u Sjevernoj Karolini i Duke NUS u Singapuru, izvijestio je The Telegraph.

Stručnjaci su za list rekli da je stvaranje "idealnog" prosječnog virusa moglo biti povezano sa stvaranjem cjepiva koje bi djelovalo na sve koronaviruse.

Prošlog mjeseca pokazalo se da je SAD financirao istraživanja slična onima koja su navedena u prijedlogu bespovratnih sredstava iz 2018. godine.

Datoteke do kojih došao The Intercept pokazale su da je 2014. Nacionalni zdravstveni institut odobrio petogodišnju potporu u iznosu od 666.000 američkih dolara godišnje (3,3 milijuna dolara za pet godina) za EcoHealth Alliance, američkoj istraživačkoj organizaciji za koronaviruse šišmiša.

EcoHealth Alliance, u svom prijedlogu NIH-u, priznao je da postoje rizici od izloženosti SARS-u ili drugim CoV-ovima među osobljem, koje bi ga onda moglo iznijeti iz laboratorija. NIH im je novac ipak dao, što je dr. Anthony Fauci ranije bio prisiljen priznati svjedočeći pred Kongresom u svibnju ove godine. Savez EcoHealth zatim je 599.000 dolara dao Institutu za virusologiju u Wuhanu.

U to vrijeme i u više navrata od tada Fauci je poricao da je istraživanje bilo ono što je poznato kao istraživanje "stjecanja funkcije", prenosi Net.hr.

Američki i kineski znanstvenici planirali su stvoriti novi koronavirus prije izbijanja pandemije, pokazuju novi podaci koji su procurili. Naime, prošlog mjeseca je zahtjev za bespovratna sredstva podnesen američkoj Agenciji za napredne istraživačke projekte obrane (Darpa) otkrio da je međunarodni tim znanstvenika planirao miješati genske podatke sličnih sojeva za stvaranje novog virusa, piše Daily Mail, a prenosi Net.hr.

Zahtjev za bespovratna sredstva je podnesen 2018. godine i procurio je u Drasticu, grupi za analizu podrijetla pandemije. Kako je za The Telegraph rekao ekspert iz Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, takav bi eksperiment rezultirao stvaranjem virusa kakav ne postoji u prirodi.

Stručnjak, koji je zatražio da ostane anoniman, rekao je da bi takva metoda, ako je provedena, mogla objasniti zašto u prirodi nikada nije pronađen virus koji je sličan Sars-CoV-2 virusu. Najbliži prirodni virus je soj Banal-52, prijavljen u Laosu prošlog mjeseca. On dijeli 96,8 posto genoma Covida-19.

Do sada nije pronađen nijedan izravni predak, za koji se očekuje da dijeli 99,98 posto sličnosti sa Sars-CoV-2. Stručnjak je rekao za The Telegraph da bi proces opisan u prijavi stvorio "novu sekvencu virusa, a ne 100-postotnu podudarnost s bilo čim".

"Zatim bi sintetizirali virusni genom iz računalne sekvence, stvarajući tako virusni genom koji ne postoji u prirodi, ali izgleda prirodno jer je prosjek prirodnih virusa. Zatim bi stavili tu RNK u stanicu i iz nje vratili virus. Time bi se stvorio virus koji nikada nije postojao u prirodi, s novom 'osnovom' koja nije postojala u prirodi, ali je vrlo, vrlo slična jer je prosjek prirodnih osnova", rekao je stručnjak.

Američke uplate u Wuhan

Prijedlog je odbijen, a baza virusnih sojeva na Institutu za virusologiju u Wuhanu je ugašena 18 mjeseci kasnije, što je onemogućilo provjeru na čemu su znanstvenici radili i što se događalo.

Znanstvenici instituta uporno su negirali optužbe da su stvorili koronavirus u laboratoriju. Prijedlog prijave za bespovratna sredstva podnio je britanski zoolog Peter Daszak u ime grupe, koja je uključivala Daszak EcoHealth Alliance, Institut za virusologiju Wuhan, Sveučilište u Sjevernoj Karolini i Duke NUS u Singapuru, izvijestio je The Telegraph.

Stručnjaci su za list rekli da je stvaranje "idealnog" prosječnog virusa moglo biti povezano sa stvaranjem cjepiva koje bi djelovalo na sve koronaviruse.

Prošlog mjeseca pokazalo se da je SAD financirao istraživanja slična onima koja su navedena u prijedlogu bespovratnih sredstava iz 2018. godine.

Datoteke do kojih došao The Intercept pokazale su da je 2014. Nacionalni zdravstveni institut odobrio petogodišnju potporu u iznosu od 666.000 američkih dolara godišnje (3,3 milijuna dolara za pet godina) za EcoHealth Alliance, američkoj istraživačkoj organizaciji za koronaviruse šišmiša.

EcoHealth Alliance, u svom prijedlogu NIH-u, priznao je da postoje rizici od izloženosti SARS-u ili drugim CoV-ovima među osobljem, koje bi ga onda moglo iznijeti iz laboratorija. NIH im je novac ipak dao, što je dr. Anthony Fauci ranije bio prisiljen priznati svjedočeći pred Kongresom u svibnju ove godine. Savez EcoHealth zatim je 599.000 dolara dao Institutu za virusologiju u Wuhanu.

U to vrijeme i u više navrata od tada Fauci je poricao da je istraživanje bilo ono što je poznato kao istraživanje "stjecanja funkcije", prenosi Net.hr.
