Papa Franjo objavio je u srijedu novi dokument o prijetnji klimatskih promjena, upozorivši da ne činimo dovoljno i da "svijet propada", nekoliko tjedana uoči UN-ovih pregovora o klimi u Dubaiju COP28.

Osam godina nakon povijesne enciklike o klimi "Laudato si" (Hvaljen budi) iz 2015., Papa je objavio apostolsku pobudnicu na 12 stranica pod nazivom "Laudate Deum" (Hvalite Boga) u kojoj je pozvao velike sile da podrže "obvezujuću" i "provjerljivu" energetsku tranziciju i upozorio na "nerazumne" klimatske skeptike, kojih ima čak i u redovima Katoličke Crkve.

Djelo je napisano na španjolskom i prevedeno na nekoliko jezika.

"Zadnjih godina mnogi su pokušali ismijati tu činjenicu", istaknuo je Papa, oslanjajući se na sve veći broj netočnih informacija koje relativiziraju globalno zagrijavanje ili "ismijavajući" one koji o tome govore.

"Uzalud pokušavamo zanijekati ih, skrivati ih, prikrivati ili relativizirati, znakovi klimatskih promjena uvijek su tu, sve vidljiviji", naglasio je Sveti Otac ocijenivši "vjerojatnom" eksploziju broja klimatskih izbjeglica "za nekoliko godina".

Papa je upozorio na štetu koju je uzrokovao čovjekov "neobuzdan" utjecaj na prirodu i kritizirao "neodgovoran zapadni način života", upirući prstom u Sjedinjene Države i Kinu zbog njihovih velikih količina emisija stakleničkih plinova.

Izrazio je žaljenje što "klimatska kriza nije tema koja zaista zanima velike gospodarske sile, a koje teže najvećem profitu po najmanjoj cijeni i u najkraćem mogućem roku".

Konstatirajući da je "stara diplomacija u krizi", Papa je pozvao na "rekonfiguriranje multilateralizma" u trenutku kada izgleda da je ciljeve za smanjenje emisija ugljika sve teže postići.

Pozivom na globalnu solidarnost kako bi se zaštitilo okoliš Papina enciklika "Laudato si" iz 2015., izazvala je rasprave na svjetskoj razini, što se ne pamti za jedan religijski tekst. Nekoliko mjeseci poslije postignut je velik napredak donošenjem Pariškog sporazuma o klimi kojega je glavni cilj obuzdati globalno zagrijavanje ispod 2 stupnja Celzijevih.

Papa Franjo objavio je u srijedu novi dokument o prijetnji klimatskih promjena, upozorivši da ne činimo dovoljno i da "svijet propada", nekoliko tjedana uoči UN-ovih pregovora o klimi u Dubaiju COP28.

Osam godina nakon povijesne enciklike o klimi "Laudato si" (Hvaljen budi) iz 2015., Papa je objavio apostolsku pobudnicu na 12 stranica pod nazivom "Laudate Deum" (Hvalite Boga) u kojoj je pozvao velike sile da podrže "obvezujuću" i "provjerljivu" energetsku tranziciju i upozorio na "nerazumne" klimatske skeptike, kojih ima čak i u redovima Katoličke Crkve.

Djelo je napisano na španjolskom i prevedeno na nekoliko jezika.

"Zadnjih godina mnogi su pokušali ismijati tu činjenicu", istaknuo je Papa, oslanjajući se na sve veći broj netočnih informacija koje relativiziraju globalno zagrijavanje ili "ismijavajući" one koji o tome govore.

"Uzalud pokušavamo zanijekati ih, skrivati ih, prikrivati ili relativizirati, znakovi klimatskih promjena uvijek su tu, sve vidljiviji", naglasio je Sveti Otac ocijenivši "vjerojatnom" eksploziju broja klimatskih izbjeglica "za nekoliko godina".

Papa je upozorio na štetu koju je uzrokovao čovjekov "neobuzdan" utjecaj na prirodu i kritizirao "neodgovoran zapadni način života", upirući prstom u Sjedinjene Države i Kinu zbog njihovih velikih količina emisija stakleničkih plinova.

Izrazio je žaljenje što "klimatska kriza nije tema koja zaista zanima velike gospodarske sile, a koje teže najvećem profitu po najmanjoj cijeni i u najkraćem mogućem roku".

Konstatirajući da je "stara diplomacija u krizi", Papa je pozvao na "rekonfiguriranje multilateralizma" u trenutku kada izgleda da je ciljeve za smanjenje emisija ugljika sve teže postići.

Pozivom na globalnu solidarnost kako bi se zaštitilo okoliš Papina enciklika "Laudato si" iz 2015., izazvala je rasprave na svjetskoj razini, što se ne pamti za jedan religijski tekst. Nekoliko mjeseci poslije postignut je velik napredak donošenjem Pariškog sporazuma o klimi kojega je glavni cilj obuzdati globalno zagrijavanje ispod 2 stupnja Celzijevih.

‘Svijet propada!‘, upozorava Papa Franjo u novom dokumentu o prijetnji klimatskih promjena

Papa Franjo objavio je u srijedu novi dokument o prijetnji klimatskih promjena, upozorivši da ne činimo dovoljno i da "svijet propada", nekoliko tjedana uoči UN-ovih pregovora o klimi u Dubaiju COP28.

Osam godina nakon povijesne enciklike o klimi "Laudato si" (Hvaljen budi) iz 2015., Papa je objavio apostolsku pobudnicu na 12 stranica pod nazivom "Laudate Deum" (Hvalite Boga) u kojoj je pozvao velike sile da podrže "obvezujuću" i "provjerljivu" energetsku tranziciju i upozorio na "nerazumne" klimatske skeptike, kojih ima čak i u redovima Katoličke Crkve.

Djelo je napisano na španjolskom i prevedeno na nekoliko jezika.

"Zadnjih godina mnogi su pokušali ismijati tu činjenicu", istaknuo je Papa, oslanjajući se na sve veći broj netočnih informacija koje relativiziraju globalno zagrijavanje ili "ismijavajući" one koji o tome govore.

"Uzalud pokušavamo zanijekati ih, skrivati ih, prikrivati ili relativizirati, znakovi klimatskih promjena uvijek su tu, sve vidljiviji", naglasio je Sveti Otac ocijenivši "vjerojatnom" eksploziju broja klimatskih izbjeglica "za nekoliko godina".

Papa je upozorio na štetu koju je uzrokovao čovjekov "neobuzdan" utjecaj na prirodu i kritizirao "neodgovoran zapadni način života", upirući prstom u Sjedinjene Države i Kinu zbog njihovih velikih količina emisija stakleničkih plinova.

Izrazio je žaljenje što "klimatska kriza nije tema koja zaista zanima velike gospodarske sile, a koje teže najvećem profitu po najmanjoj cijeni i u najkraćem mogućem roku".

Konstatirajući da je "stara diplomacija u krizi", Papa je pozvao na "rekonfiguriranje multilateralizma" u trenutku kada izgleda da je ciljeve za smanjenje emisija ugljika sve teže postići.

Pozivom na globalnu solidarnost kako bi se zaštitilo okoliš Papina enciklika "Laudato si" iz 2015., izazvala je rasprave na svjetskoj razini, što se ne pamti za jedan religijski tekst. Nekoliko mjeseci poslije postignut je velik napredak donošenjem Pariškog sporazuma o klimi kojega je glavni cilj obuzdati globalno zagrijavanje ispod 2 stupnja Celzijevih.
