TikTok se suočava s višestrukim tužbama roditelja koji tvrde da su njihova djeca izgubila život zbog 'blackout' izazova, nakon što im je aplikacija pokazala videozapise drugih ljudi koji ga izvode, donosi Tportal.

U jednoj tužbi podnesenoj protiv tvrtke u lipnju navodi se da je najmanje sedmero djece umrlo prošle godine dok su pokušavali napraviti izazov, za koji se u pritužbi kaže da ‘potiče korisnike da se guše remenom, vezicama ili bilo čime sličnim dok se ne onesvijeste’. Sva djeca koja su navodno umrla bila su mlađa od 15 godina.

Posljednju tužbu podnijeli su roditelji osmogodišnje Lalani Walton i devetogodišnje Arriani Arroyo. Međutim, navodi se i nekoliko druge djece koja su također umrla nakon pokušaja izazova kao dokaz da je TikTok bio svjestan problema.

Majka 10-godišnjakinje iz Pennsylvanije, Nylah Anderson, također je tužila tvrtku, tvrdeći da je aplikacija ‘gurala pretjerano i neprihvatljivo opasne izazove’. Kao odgovor na tu tužbu, TikTok je za Washington Post rekao da je blokirao korisnike u traženju opasnog izazova – umjesto toga, korisnici vide jedan od njegovih zaslona upozorenja, govoreći da ‘neki online izazovi mogu biti opasni, uznemirujući ili čak izmišljeni’, piše Verge.

Međutim, u novijoj tužbi Smitha i Arroyoa navodi se da njihova djeca nisu tražila izazove kad su vidjela videozapise. Umjesto toga, kaže se, TikTok im ga je plasirao na glavnom zaslonu aplikacije, na stranici ‘za vas’.

Optužuje se kompaniju da je ‘posebno pripremila i utvrdila da su ovi videozapisi Blackout Challengea – videozapisi koji prikazuju korisnike koji se namjerno guše dok ne izgube svijest – prikladni za malu djecu’.

U zapisniku, glasnogovornik TikToka Mahsau Cullinane kazao je: ‘Ovaj uznemirujući izazov, za koji ljudi, čini se, saznaju iz izvora koji nisu TikTok, davno je prethodio našoj platformi i nikada nije bio TikTok trend. I dalje smo budni u našoj predanosti sigurnosti korisnika i odmah ćemo ukloniti povezani sadržaj ako ga pronađemo. Naše najdublje suosjećanje s obiteljima zbog njihovog tragičnog gubitka’, prenosi Tportal.

TikTok se suočava s višestrukim tužbama roditelja koji tvrde da su njihova djeca izgubila život zbog 'blackout' izazova, nakon što im je aplikacija pokazala videozapise drugih ljudi koji ga izvode, donosi Tportal.

U jednoj tužbi podnesenoj protiv tvrtke u lipnju navodi se da je najmanje sedmero djece umrlo prošle godine dok su pokušavali napraviti izazov, za koji se u pritužbi kaže da ‘potiče korisnike da se guše remenom, vezicama ili bilo čime sličnim dok se ne onesvijeste’. Sva djeca koja su navodno umrla bila su mlađa od 15 godina.

Posljednju tužbu podnijeli su roditelji osmogodišnje Lalani Walton i devetogodišnje Arriani Arroyo. Međutim, navodi se i nekoliko druge djece koja su također umrla nakon pokušaja izazova kao dokaz da je TikTok bio svjestan problema.

Majka 10-godišnjakinje iz Pennsylvanije, Nylah Anderson, također je tužila tvrtku, tvrdeći da je aplikacija ‘gurala pretjerano i neprihvatljivo opasne izazove’. Kao odgovor na tu tužbu, TikTok je za Washington Post rekao da je blokirao korisnike u traženju opasnog izazova – umjesto toga, korisnici vide jedan od njegovih zaslona upozorenja, govoreći da ‘neki online izazovi mogu biti opasni, uznemirujući ili čak izmišljeni’, piše Verge.

Međutim, u novijoj tužbi Smitha i Arroyoa navodi se da njihova djeca nisu tražila izazove kad su vidjela videozapise. Umjesto toga, kaže se, TikTok im ga je plasirao na glavnom zaslonu aplikacije, na stranici ‘za vas’.

Optužuje se kompaniju da je ‘posebno pripremila i utvrdila da su ovi videozapisi Blackout Challengea – videozapisi koji prikazuju korisnike koji se namjerno guše dok ne izgube svijest – prikladni za malu djecu’.

U zapisniku, glasnogovornik TikToka Mahsau Cullinane kazao je: ‘Ovaj uznemirujući izazov, za koji ljudi, čini se, saznaju iz izvora koji nisu TikTok, davno je prethodio našoj platformi i nikada nije bio TikTok trend. I dalje smo budni u našoj predanosti sigurnosti korisnika i odmah ćemo ukloniti povezani sadržaj ako ga pronađemo. Sedmero djece izgubilo život u smrtonosnom izazovu na TikToku? Svi su bili mlađi od 15 godina, a koban za njih je bio tzv. ‘blackout challenge‘

TikTok se suočava s višestrukim tužbama roditelja koji tvrde da su njihova djeca izgubila život zbog 'blackout' izazova, nakon što im je aplikacija pokazala videozapise drugih ljudi koji ga izvode, donosi Tportal.

U jednoj tužbi podnesenoj protiv tvrtke u lipnju navodi se da je najmanje sedmero djece umrlo prošle godine dok su pokušavali napraviti izazov, za koji se u pritužbi kaže da ‘potiče korisnike da se guše remenom, vezicama ili bilo čime sličnim dok se ne onesvijeste’. Sva djeca koja su navodno umrla bila su mlađa od 15 godina.

Posljednju tužbu podnijeli su roditelji osmogodišnje Lalani Walton i devetogodišnje Arriani Arroyo. Međutim, navodi se i nekoliko druge djece koja su također umrla nakon pokušaja izazova kao dokaz da je TikTok bio svjestan problema.
