Američki centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) istražuje smrt žene iz Oregona i hospitalizaciju druge žene u Teksasu nakon primanja cjepiva protiv covida-19 tvrtke Johnson&Johnson, objavile su zdravstvene vlasti.
Savjetnici CDC-a trebaju se sastati u petak i raspraviti je li sigurno nastaviti s uporabom cjepiva Johnson&Johnson koje se daje u jednoj dozi, dok se visoki zdravstveni dužnosnici pripremaju dati zeleno svjetlo cjepivu.
"Važno je ne zaboraviti da samo zato što se nešto prijavljuje, ne mora nužno značiti da je uzrokovano cjepivom ili povezano s njim", rekla je Imelda Garcia iz teksaške zdravstvene agencije, prenose novine Austin American-Statesman.
CDC obavijestio je Oregon o slučaju u utorak, a Teksas u srijedu, rekli su zdravstveni dužnosnici tih saveznih država.
Žena iz Oregona, u 50-ima, primila je Johnson&Johnson prije nego što je pauzirana uporaba tog cjepiva, priopćilo je državno zdravstveno tijelo.
Razvila je "rijedak, ali ozbiljan krvni ugrušak u roku od dva tjedna od cijepljenja", viđen u kombinaciji s vrlo niskim trombocitima, navela je Oregonska zdravstvena uprava (OHA) i dodala da se istraga još provodi.
Žena iz Teksasa, koja je primila isto cjepivo, hospitalizirana je zbog sličnih simptoma kao i kod šest osoba u SAD-u kojima su se nedavno stvorili krvni ugrušci, rekao je glasnogovornik teksaške zdravstvene agencije.
Obje savezne države potvrdile su da su novi slučajevi odvojeni od prethodnih šest.
Američke zdravstvene agencije preporučile su prošli tjedan da se pauzira uporaba cjepiva J&J zbog šest rijetkih slučaja krvnih ugrušaka među otprilike sedam milijuna ljudi koji su primili to cjepivo.
Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) priopćila je u utorak da postoji moguća veza između cjepiva J&J i rijetkih krvnih ugrušaka kod odraslih koji su primili cjepivo u SAD-u, ali je dodala da su koristi cjepiva veće od rizika.

Američki centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) istražuje smrt žene iz Oregona i hospitalizaciju druge žene u Teksasu nakon primanja cjepiva protiv covida-19 tvrtke Johnson&Johnson, objavile su zdravstvene vlasti.
Savjetnici CDC-a trebaju se sastati u petak i raspraviti je li sigurno nastaviti s uporabom cjepiva Johnson&Johnson koje se daje u jednoj dozi, dok se visoki zdravstveni dužnosnici pripremaju dati zeleno svjetlo cjepivu.
"Važno je ne zaboraviti da samo zato što se nešto prijavljuje, ne mora nužno značiti da je uzrokovano cjepivom ili povezano s njim", rekla je Imelda Garcia iz teksaške zdravstvene agencije, prenose novine Austin American-Statesman.
CDC obavijestio je Oregon o slučaju u utorak, a Teksas u srijedu, rekli su zdravstveni dužnosnici tih saveznih država.
Žena iz Oregona, u 50-ima, primila je Johnson&Johnson prije nego što je pauzirana uporaba tog cjepiva, priopćilo je državno zdravstveno tijelo.
Razvila je "rijedak, ali ozbiljan krvni ugrušak u roku od dva tjedna od cijepljenja", viđen u kombinaciji s vrlo niskim trombocitima, navela je Oregonska zdravstvena uprava (OHA) i dodala da se istraga još provodi.
Žena iz Teksasa, koja je primila isto cjepivo, hospitalizirana je zbog sličnih simptoma kao i kod šest osoba u SAD-u kojima su se nedavno stvorili krvni ugrušci, rekao je glasnogovornik teksaške zdravstvene agencije.
Obje savezne države potvrdile su da su novi slučajevi odvojeni od prethodnih šest.
Američke zdravstvene agencije preporučile su prošli tjedan da se pauzira uporaba cjepiva J&J zbog šest rijetkih slučaja krvnih ugrušaka među otprilike sedam milijuna ljudi koji su primili to cjepivo.
Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) priopćila je u utorak da postoji moguća veza između cjepiva J&J i rijetkih krvnih ugrušaka kod odraslih koji su primili cjepivo u SAD-u, ali je dodala da su koristi cjepiva veće od rizika.
