Britanski zrakoplovni prijevoznik British Airways izvijestio je da će ukinuti još 10.300 letova na bliže destinacije koji su bili uvršteni u raspored letenja između kolovoza i kraja listopada.

Time će se broj otkazanih letova u razdoblju od travnja do listopada približiti 30 tisuća, piše BBC.

U priopćenju objavljenom u srijedu BA je izvijestio da će otkazati letove u londonskim zračnim lukama Heathrow, Gatwick i City.

Sektor zračnog prijevoza muku muči s nestašicom radnika u razdoblju snažnog oporavka potražnje za zračnim putovanjima nakon pandemije koronavirusa, podsjeća BBC.

"Cijeli zrakoplovni sektor i dalje se suočava sa značajnim izazovima i mi smo potpuno usredotočeni na jačanje otpornosti našeg poslovanja kako bismo korisnicima pružili sigurnost koju zaslužuju", priopćio je BA.

Dodali su da kontaktiraju kupce kojima će ponuditi povrat novca ili novu rezervaciju leta, uz mogućnost izbora drugog prijevoznika.

Urednik Which? Travela Rory Boland ocijenio je za BBC da je najnovija objava BA "presudni pokazatelji" neuspjeha u upravljanju ljetnim rasporedom letenja.

"BA je nastavio promovirati i prodavati letove koje nije mogao realizirati, unatoč tome što su se tisuće kupaca proteklih tjedana suočile s kaosom otkazivanja", rekao je Boland.

Objava British Airwaysa signalizira da je niz aviokompanija, uključujući i Easyjet, prisiljeno 'prizemljiti' ambicije za, kako su se nadali, sjajno ljeto, primjećuje BBC.

Britanski zrakoplovni prijevoznik British Airways izvijestio je da će ukinuti još 10.300 letova na bliže destinacije koji su bili uvršteni u raspored letenja između kolovoza i kraja listopada.

Time će se broj otkazanih letova u razdoblju od travnja do listopada približiti 30 tisuća, piše BBC.

U priopćenju objavljenom u srijedu BA je izvijestio da će otkazati letove u londonskim zračnim lukama Heathrow, Gatwick i City.

Sektor zračnog prijevoza muku muči s nestašicom radnika u razdoblju snažnog oporavka potražnje za zračnim putovanjima nakon pandemije koronavirusa, podsjeća BBC.

"Cijeli zrakoplovni sektor i dalje se suočava sa značajnim izazovima i mi smo potpuno usredotočeni na jačanje otpornosti našeg poslovanja kako bismo korisnicima pružili sigurnost koju zaslužuju", priopćio je BA.

Dodali su da kontaktiraju kupce kojima će ponuditi povrat novca ili novu rezervaciju leta, uz mogućnost izbora drugog prijevoznika.

Urednik Which? Travela Rory Boland ocijenio je za BBC da je najnovija objava BA "presudni pokazatelji" neuspjeha u upravljanju ljetnim rasporedom letenja.

"BA je nastavio promovirati i prodavati letove koje nije mogao realizirati, unatoč tome što su se tisuće kupaca proteklih tjedana suočile s kaosom otkazivanja", rekao je Boland.

Objava British Airwaysa signalizira da je niz aviokompanija, uključujući i Easyjet, prisiljeno 'prizemljiti' ambicije za, kako su se nadali, sjajno ljeto, primjećuje BBC.
