Novi slovački premijer Robert Fico rekao je u četvrtak da njegova zemlja prekida slanje oružja Ukrajini i ubuduće ograničava pomoć susjednoj zemlji na "humanitarnu i na civilnu", što je prva takva odluka zapadnih saveznika.

"Mi smatramo pomoć Ukrajini samo kao humanitarnu i civilnu pomoć, nećemo više slati oružje Ukrajini", rekao je Fico, dan nakon svog imenovanja za predsjednika koalicijske vlade u kojoj je i proruska krajnje desna stranka.

Ukrajinsko ministarstvo vanjskih poslova nije htjelo komentirati informaciju na upit AFP-a.

Slovačka, zemlja s 5,4 milijuna stanovnika, sve dosad je pružala snažnu potporu Ukrajini u okviru koje joj je slala borbene zrakoplove MiG-29 sovjetske proizvodnje, MANPADS-e (prijenosne protuzračne obrambene sustave zemlja-zrak) i protuzračni obrambeni sustav te popravljala oružje kojim su se koristili ukrajinski vojnici.

Institut Kiel ocjenjuje da je ukupna vrijednost pomoći, uglavnom vojne, na dan 31. srpnja iznosila 680 milijuna eura.

Slovačka je jedna od zemalja koje su najviše pomagale s obzirom na svoj BDP (0,65 posto), poslije Norveške, baltičkih zemalja, Danske i Poljske.

No Ficova stranka Smer-SD je pobijedila na prošlomjesečnim izborima obećavši da će prekinuti slanje vojne pomoći Ukrajini, što je potaknulo zabrinutost zbog mogućeg narušavanja jedinstva u politici Zapada prema Kijevu.

Novi slovački premijer Robert Fico rekao je u četvrtak da njegova zemlja prekida slanje oružja Ukrajini i ubuduće ograničava pomoć susjednoj zemlji na "humanitarnu i na civilnu", što je prva takva odluka zapadnih saveznika.

"Mi smatramo pomoć Ukrajini samo kao humanitarnu i civilnu pomoć, nećemo više slati oružje Ukrajini", rekao je Fico, dan nakon svog imenovanja za predsjednika koalicijske vlade u kojoj je i proruska krajnje desna stranka.

Ukrajinsko ministarstvo vanjskih poslova nije htjelo komentirati informaciju na upit AFP-a.

Slovačka, zemlja s 5,4 milijuna stanovnika, sve dosad je pružala snažnu potporu Ukrajini u okviru koje joj je slala borbene zrakoplove MiG-29 sovjetske proizvodnje, MANPADS-e (prijenosne protuzračne obrambene sustave zemlja-zrak) i protuzračni obrambeni sustav te popravljala oružje kojim su se koristili ukrajinski vojnici.

Institut Kiel ocjenjuje da je ukupna vrijednost pomoći, uglavnom vojne, na dan 31. srpnja iznosila 680 milijuna eura.

Slovačka je jedna od zemalja koje su najviše pomagale s obzirom na svoj BDP (0,65 posto), poslije Norveške, baltičkih zemalja, Danske i Poljske.

No Ficova stranka Smer-SD je pobijedila na prošlomjesečnim izborima obećavši da će prekinuti slanje vojne pomoći Ukrajini, što je potaknulo zabrinutost zbog mogućeg narušavanja jedinstva u politici Zapada prema Kijevu.

Novi slovački premijer Robert Fico rekao je u četvrtak da njegova zemlja prekida slanje oružja Ukrajini i ubuduće ograničava pomoć susjednoj zemlji na "humanitarnu i na civilnu", što je prva takva odluka zapadnih saveznika.

"Mi smatramo pomoć Ukrajini samo kao humanitarnu i civilnu pomoć, nećemo više slati oružje Ukrajini", rekao je Fico, dan nakon svog imenovanja za predsjednika koalicijske vlade u kojoj je i proruska krajnje desna stranka.

Ukrajinsko ministarstvo vanjskih poslova nije htjelo komentirati informaciju na upit AFP-a.
