Tekuća je godina na putu da postane najtoplija u povijesti, objavila je u četvrtak služba Europske unije za klimatske promjene Copernicus, prenose agencije.
Najtopliji rujan zabilježen na globalnoj razini uslijedio je nakon ljeta s rekordnim temperaturama ove godine, objavio je Copernicus, prenosi agencija dpa.
Temperature u rujnu ove godine bile su pola stupnja više nego u prethodnom najtoplijem rujnu u povijesti, a gotovo cijeli stupanj više nego u prosječnom rujnu između 1991. i 2020. godine.
"Temperature bez presedana za ovo doba godine zabilježene u rujnu - nakon rekordnog ljeta - oborile su nove rekorde", izjavila je Samantha Burgess, zamjenica direktora Službe za klimatske promjene Copernicus. Temperature tijekom 2023. sada su na putu da budu 1,4 stupnja Celzijusa iznad predindustrijskih prosječnih temperatura, rekla je Burgess.
To je samo 0,1 stupanj ispod cilja postavljenog Pariškim klimatskim sporazumom, koji ima imperativ ograničiti zagrijavanje na 1,5 stupnjeva do kraja stoljeća.
Rujan je, međutim, već bio 1,75 stupnjeva topliji nego u predindustrijskom referentnom razdoblju od 1850. do 1900. godine.
Antarktički morski led također je dosegao povijesno najnižu razinu u rujnu, pokrivajući devet posto manje površine od prosjeka između 1991. i 2020. Na Arktiku je morski led u rujnu bio na petoj najnižoj razini.
Što se tiče oborina, u rujnu je slika bila mješovita.
Veliki dijelovi zapadne Europe dobili su više kiše nego inače, a u Grčkoj i Libiji bilo je poplava kao posljedica oluje Daniel, ciklona nalik tropskom koji je pogodio Sredozemno more.
Ali drugi dijelovi Europe, Sjedinjene Države, Meksiko, središnja Azija i Australija zabilježili su najsušniji rujan od početka mjerenja.
Služba EU-a za klimatske promjene Copernicus redovito objavljuje podatke o temperaturi na Zemljinoj površini, ledenom pokrivaču i podatke o oborinama.
Nalazi se temelje na računalno generiranim analizama koje uključuju milijarde mjerenja sa satelita, brodova, zrakoplova i meteoroloških postaja diljem svijeta.

Tekuća je godina na putu da postane najtoplija u povijesti, objavila je u četvrtak služba Europske unije za klimatske promjene Copernicus, prenose agencije.
Najtopliji rujan zabilježen na globalnoj razini uslijedio je nakon ljeta s rekordnim temperaturama ove godine, objavio je Copernicus, prenosi agencija dpa.
Temperature u rujnu ove godine bile su pola stupnja više nego u prethodnom najtoplijem rujnu u povijesti, a gotovo cijeli stupanj više nego u prosječnom rujnu između 1991. i 2020. godine.
"Temperature bez presedana za ovo doba godine zabilježene u rujnu - nakon rekordnog ljeta - oborile su nove rekorde", izjavila je Samantha Burgess, zamjenica direktora Službe za klimatske promjene Copernicus. Temperature tijekom 2023. sada su na putu da budu 1,4 stupnja Celzijusa iznad predindustrijskih prosječnih temperatura, rekla je Burgess.
To je samo 0,1 stupanj ispod cilja postavljenog Pariškim klimatskim sporazumom, koji ima imperativ ograničiti zagrijavanje na 1,5 stupnjeva do kraja stoljeća.
Rujan je, međutim, već bio 1,75 stupnjeva topliji nego u predindustrijskom referentnom razdoblju od 1850. do 1900. godine.
Antarktički morski led također je dosegao povijesno najnižu razinu u rujnu, pokrivajući devet posto manje površine od prosjeka između 1991. i 2020. Na Arktiku je morski led u rujnu bio na petoj najnižoj razini.
Što se tiče oborina, u rujnu je slika bila mješovita.
Veliki dijelovi zapadne Europe dobili su više kiše nego inače, a u Grčkoj i Libiji bilo je poplava kao posljedica oluje Daniel, ciklona nalik tropskom koji je pogodio Sredozemno more.
Ali drugi dijelovi Europe, Sjedinjene Države, Meksiko, središnja Azija i Australija zabilježili su najsušniji rujan od početka mjerenja.
Služba EU-a za klimatske promjene Copernicus redovito objavljuje podatke o temperaturi na Zemljinoj površini, ledenom pokrivaču i podatke o oborinama.
Nalazi se temelje na računalno generiranim analizama koje uključuju milijarde mjerenja sa satelita, brodova, zrakoplova i meteoroloških postaja diljem svijeta.
