Regionalna vlada Balearskih otoka naredila je u srijedu zatvaranje triju popularnih ulica na Mallorci kako bi zaustavila pijane turiste zbog kojih prijeti novo izbijanje koronavirusa.
Mjera je uvedena nakon što je nekoliko snimki pokazalo kako britanski i njemački turisti tulumare bez zaštitnih maski u pretrpanim kafićima i noćnim klubovima, a neki su čak skakali po parkiranom automobilu.

Zbog toga je vlada zatvorila tri poznate ulice s kafićima, restoranima i drugim objektima za zabavu.
„Tom mjerom želimo zaustaviti divljačko ponašanje manjine koja može dovesti u opasnost sve što smo dosad napravili kako bi smo nanovo otvorili turizam, te ga učinili sigurnim za posjetitelje“, priopćila je vlada Balearskih otoka koji se nalaze u Sredozemnom moru.

Balearski otoci – Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Formentera i Cabrera – prvi su dobili dozvolu španjolske vlade za dolazak inozemnih turista. Prošli mjesec su bili dopušteni posebni turistički letovi iz Njemačke jedino na Balearske otoke, a onda je 21. lipnja čitava Španjolska otvorila granice.
Španjolska, jedna od najpogođenijih zemalja koronavirusom, bila je zatvorena gotovo sto dana. Dosad se inficiralo 257.494 stanovnika od čega je preminulo njih 28.413.

Mjesto Magaluf, na otoku Mallorci, poznato je po razuzdanim zabavama mladih britanskih turista. Tamošnja ulica Punta Ballena sa svojim terasama, kafićima i restoranima u srijedu je zatvorena odlukom regionalne vlade.

U 18 kilometara udaljenoj Playi de Palma, također poznatom mjestu turističkih provoda, zatvorene su dodatne dvije ulice poznate kao „Ulica pive“ (Calle de la cerveza) i „Ulica pršuta“ (Calle del jamón).
Balearske otoke posjetilo je 14 milijuna turista prošle godine, te su jedno od najpopularnijih ljetnih destinacija u Španjolskoj. Vlada je ondje uvela obavezno nošenje maski za lice i održavanje udaljenosti od drugih osoba kako bi se turisti i lokalno stanovništvo zaštitili od koronavirusa.

U Njemačkoj su, međutim, objavljeni video isječci neodgovornih turista pa je zavladao strah da bi oni po povratku mogli unijeti virus u Njemačku. Njemački ministar zdravstva Jens Spahn upozorio je u ponedjeljak kako je opasnost od drugog vala virusa stvarna te da se stanovnici ne smiju opustiti.

Epidemiolog Karl Lauterbach, socijaldemokratski zastupnik u njemačkom parlamentu, rekao je u srijedu za novine Die Welt kako bi turisti po povratku s Mallorce u Njemačku trebali proći obavezno testiranje kako bi se izbjeglo širenje koronavirusa.

Regionalna vlada Balearskih otoka naredila je u srijedu zatvaranje triju popularnih ulica na Mallorci kako bi zaustavila pijane turiste zbog kojih prijeti novo izbijanje koronavirusa.
Mjera je uvedena nakon što je nekoliko snimki pokazalo kako britanski i njemački turisti tulumare bez zaštitnih maski u pretrpanim kafićima i noćnim klubovima, a neki su čak skakali po parkiranom automobilu.

Zbog toga je vlada zatvorila tri poznate ulice s kafićima, restoranima i drugim objektima za zabavu.
„Tom mjerom želimo zaustaviti divljačko ponašanje manjine koja može dovesti u opasnost sve što smo dosad napravili kako bi smo nanovo otvorili turizam, te ga učinili sigurnim za posjetitelje“, priopćila je vlada Balearskih otoka koji se nalaze u Sredozemnom moru.

Balearski otoci – Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Formentera i Cabrera – prvi su dobili dozvolu španjolske vlade za dolazak inozemnih turista. Prošli mjesec su bili dopušteni posebni turistički letovi iz Njemačke jedino na Balearske otoke, a onda je 21. lipnja čitava Španjolska otvorila granice.
Španjolska, jedna od najpogođenijih zemalja koronavirusom, bila je zatvorena gotovo sto dana. Dosad se inficiralo 257.494 stanovnika od čega je preminulo njih 28.413.

Mjesto Magaluf, na otoku Mallorci, poznato je po razuzdanim zabavama mladih britanskih turista. Tamošnja ulica Punta Ballena sa svojim terasama, kafićima i restoranima u srijedu je zatvorena odlukom regionalne vlade.

U 18 kilometara udaljenoj Playi de Palma, također poznatom mjestu turističkih provoda, zatvorene su dodatne dvije ulice poznate kao „Ulica pive“ (Calle de la cerveza) i „Ulica pršuta“ (Calle del jamón).
Balearske otoke posjetilo je 14 milijuna turista prošle godine, te su jedno od najpopularnijih ljetnih destinacija u Španjolskoj. Vlada je ondje uvela obavezno nošenje maski za lice i održavanje udaljenosti od drugih osoba kako bi se turisti i lokalno stanovništvo zaštitili od koronavirusa.

U Njemačkoj su, međutim, objavljeni video isječci neodgovornih turista pa je zavladao strah da bi oni po povratku mogli unijeti virus u Njemačku. Njemački ministar zdravstva Jens Spahn upozorio je u ponedjeljak kako je opasnost od drugog vala virusa stvarna te da se stanovnici ne smiju opustiti.

Epidemiolog Karl Lauterbach, socijaldemokratski zastupnik u njemačkom parlamentu, rekao je u srijedu za novine Die Welt kako bi turisti po povratku s Mallorce u Njemačku trebali proći obavezno testiranje kako bi se izbjeglo širenje koronavirusa.

Regionalna vlada Balearskih otoka naredila je u srijedu zatvaranje triju popularnih ulica na Mallorci kako bi zaustavila pijane turiste zbog kojih prijeti novo izbijanje koronavirusa.
Mjera je uvedena nakon što je nekoliko snimki pokazalo kako britanski i njemački turisti tulumare bez zaštitnih maski u pretrpanim kafićima i noćnim klubovima, a neki su čak skakali po parkiranom automobilu.

Zbog toga je vlada zatvorila tri poznate ulice s kafićima, restoranima i drugim objektima za zabavu.
„Tom mjerom želimo zaustaviti divljačko ponašanje manjine koja može dovesti u opasnost sve što smo dosad napravili kako bi smo nanovo otvorili turizam, te ga učinili sigurnim za posjetitelje“, priopćila je vlada Balearskih otoka koji se nalaze u Sredozemnom moru.
