Veliki teretni brod koji je zapeo u Sueskom kanalu, mogao bi biti odsukan već u subotu, rekli su japanski vlasnici broda, piše BBC, a prenosi Jutarnji.

Yukito Higaki, predsjednik tvrtke Shoei Kisen, rekao je u petak na konferenciji za novinare da je raspoređeno 10 tegljača za raskopavanje rubova i dna kanala.

Sjedinjene Države također su ponudile slanje pomoći, uključujući tim stručnjaka američke mornarice.

Brod Ever Given se u utorak zabio u kanal, prisiljavajući tvrtke da preusmjeravaju svoje brodove oko Afrike.

Blokada je također uzrokovala veliku gužvu u prometu i više od 200 brodova u Crvenom moru.

Yukito Higaki, predsjednik tvrtke Shoei Kisen, rekao je u petak na konferenciji za novinare da je raspoređeno 10 tegljača za raskopavanje rubova i dna kanala.

Sjedinjene Države također su ponudile slanje pomoći, uključujući tim stručnjaka američke mornarice.

Brod Ever Given se u utorak zabio u kanal, prisiljavajući tvrtke da preusmjeravaju svoje brodove oko Afrike.

Blokada je također uzrokovala veliku gužvu u prometu i više od 200 brodova u Crvenom moru.

Higaki je rekao na konferenciji za novinare u zapadnom japanskom gradu Imabari, da 'nastavljaju s radom na uklanjanju sedimenta s dodatnim alatima za bageriranje'.

Dodao je da se posade nadaju izvlačenju broda već u subotu navečer po tokijskom vremenu, izvijestile su novine Asahi Shimbun.

'U brod ne ulazi voda', rekao je. 'Nema problema s kormilima i propelerima. Nakon što se brod odsuče, trebao bi moći normalno funkcionirati.'

'Nastavljamo s uklanjanjem sedimenata od sada, s dodatnim alatima.'

U međuvremenu, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM), tehnički direktor broda, objavio je u petak da je pokušaj ponovnog odsukavanja plovila propao.

Joe Reynolds, glavni inženjer tvrtke Maersk Ohio, rekao je u petak za BBC da broj plovila koja čekaju na južnom ulazu u kanal 'eksponencijalno raste'.

'To će utjecati na raspored otpreme roba po cijelom svijetu', upozorio je.

Brod dugačak 400 metara i težak 200.000 tona, nasukao se u utorak ujutro po jakom vjetru i pješčanoj oluji koja je utjecala na vidljivost.

U Sueski kanal su pristigle specijalne tvrtke za spašavanje kako bi pomogle u odsukavanju broda, a savjetnik egipatskog predsjednika rekao je kako se nada da će se situacija riješiti u roku od dva do tri dana. No, stručnjaci su rekli da bi mogli proći i tjedni ako će biti potrebno ukloniti kontejnere s plovila.

John Denholm, predsjednik brodske komore Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, rekao je za BBC da će, ako kopači i tegljači ne budu uspješni, spasilački timovi morati započeti polagani postupak 'olakšavanja' broda - prebacivanja tereta na drugo plovilo ili obalu kanala.

To bi uključivalo dovođenje specijalne opreme, uključujući dizalicu koja bi trebala biti viša od 60 metara, rekao je.

'Ako budemo morali rasterećivati brod, pretpostavljam da će nam trebati tjedni.'
