Iranski vrhovni vođa Ali Hamenei rekao je u srijedu, obraćajući se javnosti, da je pandemija koronavirusa "problem broj jedan" u zemlji i da ju je hitno potrebno suzbiti te je pozvao na veće napore oko uvoza i proizvodnje cjepiva. 

Dnevni broj zaraženih popeo se na 42.000 u petom valu koronavirusa u Iranu, najteže pogođenoj zemlji Bliskog istoka. 
"Pandemija je danas iranski problem broj jedan. Brojevi zaraženih ljudi i smrtnih slučajeva uistinu su tragični... To je hitno pitanje koje se mora suzbiti", rekao je ajatolah Ali Hamenei u televizijskom obraćanju.

Iransko ministarstvo zdravstva potvrdilo je u srijedu 42541 novu zarazu u protekla 24 sata pa se ukupan broj slučajeva popeo na 4.281.217. Umrlo je još 536 ljudi, ukupno 95.647, što ministarstvo pripisuje zaraznijoj delta varijanti virusa. 

Hamenei, koji je u siječnju zabranio uvoz cjepiva američke i britanske proizvodnje, rekao je da vlada treba "povećati napore kako za uvoz, tako i za proizvodnju domaćih cjepiva". 

Korisnici društvenih mreža, u Iranu i izvan njega, optužuju vladajuće vjersko vodstvo za sporo cijepljenje stanovništva. Potpuno je cijepljeno tek četiri posto od 83 milijuna stanovnika Irana. 

Iran je pak okrivio američke sankcije za ometanje nabave i isporuke cjepiva iz drugih zemalja. 

Hrana, lijekovi i druge humanitarne zalihe izuzete su iz američkih sankcija, koje su ponovno nametnute Teheranu 2018., nakon što je tadašnji američki predsjednik Donald Trump napustio iranski nuklearni sporazum iz 2015. sa šest svjetskih sila. 

Osim što nastoji ubrzati cijepljenje uvezenim dozama te domaćim cjepivom COVIran Barakat, Iran također sudjeluje u inicijativi Covax, koju vode savez GAVI i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO). Cilj Covaxa je osigurati cjepiva za siromašnije zemlje. 

Vlasti su upozorile da bi idućih tjedana moglo biti 800 umrlih s covidom dnevno. Hamenei je pozvao Irance da se pridržavaju protokola ministarstva zdravstva. 

Iranski državni mediji objavili su fotografije bolnica iz nekoliko gradova u kojima nedostaje kreveta za primanje novih pacijenata. 
Državna televizija objavila je da je većina od 31 iranske pokrajine prešla iz narančaste na višu, crvenu razinu upozorenja.

Iranski vrhovni vođa Ali Hamenei rekao je u srijedu, obraćajući se javnosti, da je pandemija koronavirusa "problem broj jedan" u zemlji i da ju je hitno potrebno suzbiti te je pozvao na veće napore oko uvoza i proizvodnje cjepiva. 

Dnevni broj zaraženih popeo se na 42.000 u petom valu koronavirusa u Iranu, najteže pogođenoj zemlji Bliskog istoka. 
"Pandemija je danas iranski problem broj jedan. Brojevi zaraženih ljudi i smrtnih slučajeva uistinu su tragični... To je hitno pitanje koje se mora suzbiti", rekao je ajatolah Ali Hamenei u televizijskom obraćanju.

Iransko ministarstvo zdravstva potvrdilo je u srijedu 42541 novu zarazu u protekla 24 sata pa se ukupan broj slučajeva popeo na 4.281.217. Umrlo je još 536 ljudi, ukupno 95.647, što ministarstvo pripisuje zaraznijoj delta varijanti virusa. 

Hamenei, koji je u siječnju zabranio uvoz cjepiva američke i britanske proizvodnje, rekao je da vlada treba "povećati napore kako za uvoz, tako i za proizvodnju domaćih cjepiva". 

Korisnici društvenih mreža, u Iranu i izvan njega, optužuju vladajuće vjersko vodstvo za sporo cijepljenje stanovništva. Potpuno je cijepljeno tek četiri posto od 83 milijuna stanovnika Irana. 

Iran je pak okrivio američke sankcije za ometanje nabave i isporuke cjepiva iz drugih zemalja. 

Hrana, lijekovi i druge humanitarne zalihe izuzete su iz američkih sankcija, koje su ponovno nametnute Teheranu 2018., nakon što je tadašnji američki predsjednik Donald Trump napustio iranski nuklearni sporazum iz 2015. sa šest svjetskih sila. 

Osim što nastoji ubrzati cijepljenje uvezenim dozama te domaćim cjepivom COVIran Barakat, Iran također sudjeluje u inicijativi Covax, koju vode savez GAVI i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO). Cilj Covaxa je osigurati cjepiva za siromašnije zemlje. 

Vlasti su upozorile da bi idućih tjedana moglo biti 800 umrlih s covidom dnevno. Hamenei je pozvao Irance da se pridržavaju protokola ministarstva zdravstva. 

Iranski državni mediji objavili su fotografije bolnica iz nekoliko gradova u kojima nedostaje kreveta za primanje novih pacijenata. 
Državna televizija objavila je da je većina od 31 iranske pokrajine prešla iz narančaste na višu, crvenu razinu upozorenja.

Iranski vrhovni vođa Ali Hamenei rekao je u srijedu, obraćajući se javnosti, da je pandemija koronavirusa "problem broj jedan" u zemlji i da ju je hitno potrebno suzbiti te je pozvao na veće napore oko uvoza i proizvodnje cjepiva. 

Dnevni broj zaraženih popeo se na 42.000 u petom valu koronavirusa u Iranu, najteže pogođenoj zemlji Bliskog istoka. 
"Pandemija je danas iranski problem broj jedan. Brojevi zaraženih ljudi i smrtnih slučajeva uistinu su tragični... To je hitno pitanje koje se mora suzbiti", rekao je ajatolah Ali Hamenei u televizijskom obraćanju.

Iransko ministarstvo zdravstva potvrdilo je u srijedu 42541 novu zarazu u protekla 24 sata pa se ukupan broj slučajeva popeo na 4.281.217. Umrlo je još 536 ljudi, ukupno 95.647, što ministarstvo pripisuje...
