Mjanmar se u ponedjeljak probudio sa zatvorenim trgovinama i ugostiteljskim radnjama te ugašenim internetom. U tijeku je opći nacionalni štrajk nakon najnasilnijih prosvjeda ovog vikenda u kojem su ubijene najmanje dvije osobe, a dvadeset ih je ranjeno. Istovremeno, vojska prijeti da će biti još "izgubljenih života" ako nastave protestirati, piše jutarnji.hr.

"Prosvjednici sada potiču građane, posebno emotivne tinejdžere i mlade, na sukob u kojem će pretrpjeti gubitak života", stoji u upozorenju vojne hunte objavljenom u nedjelju navečer na državnoj televiziji MRTV.

Unatoč prijetnji, tisuće građana izašlo je u ponedjeljak ujutro na ulice kako bi sudjelovali u mjanmarskoj proljetnoj revoluciji 22222 (referenca na datum 22.2.2022.; usporedba s protuvojnim prosvjedima 8.8.1988). Protivnici vojnog puča zahtijevaju okončanje vojne vladavine i puštanje Aung San Suu Kyi na slobodu. Udruga za pomoć političkim zatvorenicima Burma (AAPPB) priopćila je kako je do sada uhićeno najmanje 640 osoba.

"Svi se pridružuju prosvjedima. Moramo izaći", odlučno je izjavila Reutersu 46-godišnja San San Maw koja se pridružila demonstracijama u najvećem mjanmarskom gradu Yangon.

Agencijske fotografije pokazuju da se mnoštvo okupilo i u gradovima Mandalayu, Naypyidawu, jugoistočnom Daweiju, Taunggyiju, Patheinu i u jednoj od najsiromašnijih regija zemlje Chin State.  

"Ne želimo huntu, želimo demokraciju. Želimo stvoriti vlastitu budućnost", rekla je 22-godišnja Htet Htet Hlaing koja je priznala da je osjećala strah prije izlaska na ulice pa se pomolila prije izlaska, "Majka me nije spriječila. Samo mi je poručila 'Čuvaj se!'".

Više od 1000 demonstranata okupilo se oko zgrade američke ambasade u Yangonu držeći veliki transparent "Moć narodu". Nedaleko od njih raspoređeno je 20 vojnih kamiona. Diplomatska predstavništva su, inače, postala mjesta okupljanja prosvjednika koji time pozivaju na stranu intervenciju.

Prosvjednicima su se pridružili radnici i državni službenici koji su odbili vratiti se na posao dok vojna hunta ne vrati vlast demokratski izabranoj vladi.

Nekoliko zapadnih zemalja osudilo je vojni puč i nasilje nad prosvjednicima.

"Sjedinjene Američke Države nastavit će poduzimati odlučne akcije protiv onih koji vrše nasilje nad narodom Burme dok traže obnovu svoje demokratski izabrane vlade", napisao je na Twitteru američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken.

Nasilje su osudile i Britanija, Njemačka, Japan i Singapur. Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres kazao je kako je uporaba smrtonosne sile protiv miroljubivih prosvjednika bila "neprihvatljiva".

Posebni izvjestitelj UN-a za ljudska prava Mjanmaru, Tom Andrews, izjavio je kako je duboko zabrinut prijetnjama hunte.

„Za razliku od 1988. godine, akcije sigurnosnih snaga se snimaju i odgovorat ćete za počinjeno”, kazao je na Twitteru.

Reakcije vojske na prosvjede je za sada manje smrtonosna od prosvjeda 1988., no povjesničar Thant Myint-U objašnjava da je sve manje prostora za miroljubivo rješenje.

"Ishod narednih tjedana bit će odredđen samo dvjema stvarima: voljom vojske koja je ranije slomila mnoge prosvjede i hrabrošću, vještinom i odlučnošću prosvjednika", predviđa povjesničar na Twitteru.

Policija je ubila dvoje ljudi u drugom najvećem mjanmarskom gradu Mandalayu ovaj vikend, a prosvjednici su u nedjelju pokopali prvu žrtvu prosvjeda koji traju posljednja tri tjedna. Riječ je o djevojci Mya Thwet Thwet Khine koja je ranjena tijekom mirnih demonstracija 9. veljače. Tjedan dana je ležala u bolnici u nesvjesnom stanju. U petak ujutro je preminula od posljedica ranjavanja, dva dana nakon nakon što je navršila 20 godina.

Reporteri koji izvještavaju iz Mjanmara na društvenim mrežama pišu kako se na ulicama mogu vidjeti vojnici iz lakih pješačkih divizija, pripadnici elitnih protupobunjeničkih divizija koji slušaju izravne narede vrhovnog zapovjednika vojske Min Aung Hlainga. Poznati su po brutalnom slamanju prosvjeda.

Politički aktivisti izvještavaju da su zatvorene neke glavne autoceste i mostove, te da je ponegdje u Yangonu ugašen internet. Policijski sat traje od četiri ujutro do 20 sati.

Mjanmar se u ponedjeljak probudio sa zatvorenim trgovinama i ugostiteljskim radnjama te ugašenim internetom. U tijeku je opći nacionalni štrajk nakon najnasilnijih prosvjeda ovog vikenda u kojem su ubijene najmanje dvije osobe, a dvadeset ih je ranjeno. Istovremeno, vojska prijeti da će biti još "izgubljenih života" ako nastave protestirati, piše jutarnji.hr.

"Prosvjednici sada potiču građane, posebno emotivne tinejdžere i mlade, na sukob u kojem će pretrpjeti gubitak života", stoji u upozorenju vojne hunte objavljenom u nedjelju navečer na državnoj televiziji MRTV.

Unatoč prijetnji, tisuće građana izašlo je u ponedjeljak ujutro na ulice kako bi sudjelovali u mjanmarskoj proljetnoj revoluciji 22222 (referenca na datum 22.2.2022.; usporedba s protuvojnim prosvjedima 8.8.1988). Protivnici vojnog puča zahtijevaju okončanje vojne vladavine i puštanje Aung San Suu Kyi na slobodu. Udruga za pomoć političkim zatvorenicima Burma (AAPPB) priopćila je kako je do sada uhićeno najmanje 640 osoba.

"Svi se pridružuju prosvjedima. Moramo izaći", odlučno je izjavila Reutersu 46-godišnja San San Maw koja se pridružila demonstracijama u najvećem mjanmarskom gradu Yangon.

Agencijske fotografije pokazuju da se mnoštvo okupilo i u gradovima Mandalayu, Naypyidawu, jugoistočnom Daweiju, Taunggyiju, Patheinu i u jednoj od najsiromašnijih regija zemlje Chin State.  

"Ne želimo huntu, želimo demokraciju. Želimo stvoriti vlastitu budućnost", rekla je 22-godišnja Htet Htet Hlaing koja je priznala da je osjećala strah prije izlaska na ulice pa se pomolila prije izlaska, "Majka me nije spriječila. Samo mi je poručila 'Čuvaj se!'".

Više od 1000 demonstranata okupilo se oko zgrade američke ambasade u Yangonu držeći veliki transparent "Moć narodu". Nedaleko od njih raspoređeno je 20 vojnih kamiona. Diplomatska predstavništva su, inače, postala mjesta okupljanja prosvjednika koji time pozivaju na stranu intervenciju.

Prosvjednicima su se pridružili radnici i državni službenici koji su odbili vratiti se na posao dok vojna hunta ne vrati vlast demokratski izabranoj vladi.

Nekoliko zapadnih zemalja osudilo je vojni puč i nasilje nad prosvjednicima.

"Sjedinjene Američke Države nastavit će poduzimati odlučne akcije protiv onih koji vrše nasilje nad narodom Burme dok traže obnovu svoje demokratski izabrane vlade", napisao je na Twitteru američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken.

Nasilje su osudile i Britanija, Njemačka, Japan i Singapur. Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres kazao je kako je uporaba smrtonosne sile protiv miroljubivih prosvjednika bila "neprihvatljiva".

Posebni izvjestitelj UN-a za ljudska prava Mjanmaru, Tom Andrews, izjavio je kako je duboko zabrinut prijetnjama hunte.

„Za razliku od 1988. godine, akcije sigurnosnih snaga se snimaju i odgovorat ćete za počinjeno”, kazao je na Twitteru.

Reakcije vojske na prosvjede je za sada manje smrtonosna od prosvjeda 1988., no povjesničar Thant Myint-U objašnjava da je sve manje prostora za miroljubivo rješenje.

"Ishod narednih tjedana bit će odredđen samo dvjema stvarima: voljom vojske koja je ranije slomila mnoge prosvjede i hrabrošću, vještinom i odlučnošću prosvjednika", predviđa povjesničar na Twitteru.

Policija je ubila dvoje ljudi u drugom najvećem mjanmarskom gradu Mandalayu ovaj vikend, a prosvjednici su u nedjelju pokopali prvu žrtvu prosvjeda koji traju posljednja tri tjedna. Riječ je o djevojci Mya Thwet Thwet Khine koja je ranjena tijekom mirnih demonstracija 9. veljače. Tjedan dana je ležala u bolnici u nesvjesnom stanju. U petak ujutro je preminula od posljedica ranjavanja, dva dana nakon nakon što je navršila 20 godina.

Reporteri koji izvještavaju iz Mjanmara na društvenim mrežama pišu kako se na ulicama mogu vidjeti vojnici iz lakih pješačkih divizija, pripadnici elitnih protupobunjeničkih divizija koji slušaju izravne narede vrhovnog zapovjednika vojske Min Aung Hlainga. Poznati su po brutalnom slamanju prosvjeda.

Politički aktivisti izvještavaju da su zatvorene neke glavne autoceste i mostove, te da je ponegdje u Yangonu ugašen internet. Policijski sat traje od četiri ujutro do 20 sati.

Mjanmar se u ponedjeljak probudio sa zatvorenim trgovinama i ugostiteljskim radnjama te ugašenim internetom. U tijeku je opći nacionalni štrajk nakon najnasilnijih prosvjeda ovog vikenda u kojem su ubijene najmanje dvije osobe, a dvadeset ih je ranjeno. Istovremeno, vojska prijeti da će biti još "izgubljenih života" ako nastave protestirati, piše jutarnji.hr.

"Prosvjednici sada potiču građane, posebno emotivne tinejdžere i mlade, na sukob u kojem će pretrpjeti gubitak života", stoji u upozorenju vojne hunte objavljenom u nedjelju navečer na državnoj televiziji MRTV.

Unatoč prijetnji, tisuće građana izašlo je u ponedjeljak ujutro na ulice kako bi sudjelovali u mjanmarskoj proljetnoj revoluciji 22222 (referenca na datum 22.2.2022.; usporedba s protuvojnim prosvjedima...
