Glavni tajnik Ujedinjenih naroda Antonio Guterres rekao je u ponedjeljak da se opasnost od nuklearnih sukoba vratila nakon više desetljeća te pozvao nuklearne države da se obvežu da neće prve upotrijebiti oružje.

Svaki napad na nuklearno postrojenje je "samoubilački", rekao je Guterres, odgovarajući na izvješća o ponovnom ruskom granatiranju pogona Zaporižje u Ukrajini, najveće europske nuklearne elektrane.

Guterres je govorio na konferenciji za novinare u Tokiju nakon što je u subotu prisustvovao Memorijalnoj ceremoniji mira u Hirošimi u znak sjećanja na 77. godišnjicu prvog atomskog bombardiranja u svijetu.

Također je pozvao Japan da zaustavi javno i privatno financiranje projekata ugljena kao dio obveza države u smanjenju emisija fosilnih goriva.

Generalni direktor Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA) Rafael Grossi u subotu je izrazio veliku zabrinutost zbog granatiranja Zaporižje, upozorivši na opasnost od moguće nuklearne katastrofe, koja bi mogla ugroziti životnu okolinu i javno zdravlje u Ukrajini, ali i šire.

Pogon u Zaporižji ruske su vojne snage zauzele na početku rata, no u njoj još uvijek rade ukrajinski tehničari.

U petak je granatiran i pogođen dalekovod u postrojenju, što je operatere primoralo da isključe reaktor premda nije ustanovljeno curenje radioaktivnih tvari.

Obje su se strane u subotu međusobno optuživale za "nuklearni terorizam".

Ukrajinska državna nuklearna tvrtka Energoatom okrivila je Rusiju za štetu, dok je rusko ministarstvo obrane optužilo ukrajinske snage za granatiranje elektrane.

Glavni tajnik Ujedinjenih naroda Antonio Guterres rekao je u ponedjeljak da se opasnost od nuklearnih sukoba vratila nakon više desetljeća te pozvao nuklearne države da se obvežu da neće prve upotrijebiti oružje.

Svaki napad na nuklearno postrojenje je "samoubilački", rekao je Guterres, odgovarajući na izvješća o ponovnom ruskom granatiranju pogona Zaporižje u Ukrajini, najveće europske nuklearne elektrane.

Guterres je govorio na konferenciji za novinare u Tokiju nakon što je u subotu prisustvovao Memorijalnoj ceremoniji mira u Hirošimi u znak sjećanja na 77. godišnjicu prvog atomskog bombardiranja u svijetu.

Također je pozvao Japan da zaustavi javno i privatno financiranje projekata ugljena kao dio obveza države u smanjenju emisija fosilnih goriva.

Generalni direktor Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA) Rafael Grossi u subotu je izrazio veliku zabrinutost zbog granatiranja Zaporižje, upozorivši na opasnost od moguće nuklearne katastrofe, koja bi mogla ugroziti životnu okolinu i javno zdravlje u Ukrajini, ali i šire.

Pogon u Zaporižji ruske su vojne snage zauzele na početku rata, no u njoj još uvijek rade ukrajinski tehničari.

U petak je granatiran i pogođen dalekovod u postrojenju, što je operatere primoralo da isključe reaktor premda nije ustanovljeno curenje radioaktivnih tvari.

Obje su se strane u subotu međusobno optuživale za "nuklearni terorizam".

Ukrajinska državna nuklearna tvrtka Energoatom okrivila je Rusiju za štetu, dok je rusko ministarstvo obrane optužilo ukrajinske snage za granatiranje elektrane.

Glavni tajnik Ujedinjenih naroda Antonio Guterres rekao je u ponedjeljak da se opasnost od nuklearnih sukoba vratila nakon više desetljeća te pozvao nuklearne države da se obvežu da neće prve upotrijebiti oružje.

Svaki napad na nuklearno postrojenje je "samoubilački", rekao je Guterres, odgovarajući na izvješća o ponovnom ruskom granatiranju pogona Zaporižje u Ukrajini, najveće europske nuklearne elektrane.

Guterres je govorio na konferenciji za novinare u Tokiju nakon što je u subotu prisustvovao Memorijalnoj ceremoniji mira u Hirošimi u znak sjećanja na 77. godišnjicu prvog atomskog bombardiranja u svijetu.

Također je pozvao Japan da zaustavi javno i privatno financiranje projekata ugljena kao dio obveza države u smanjenju emisija fosilnih goriva.
