Europa se zasad dobro nosi s energetskom krizom koja je uslijedila nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, ali poduzeća i kućanstva već razmišljaju kako će preživjeti iduću zimu.

Topla zima, državna pomoć, puna skladišta plina i uvoz energije iz drugih regija pomogli su Europi da ograniči gospodarsku štetu izazvanu ratom.

Pivovara Veltins kod zapadnog njemačkog industrijskog grada Dortmunda prilagodila se situaciji koristeći boce koje se mogu ponovno koristiti, peći na plin jednim je dijelom preuredila u peći na loživo ulje i potrošila 30 milijuna eura za zalihe sirovina.

„Nismo morali smanjiti proizvodnju”, rekao je glasnogovornik Veltinsa, Ulrich Biene, za AFP.

Njemačka, koja se jako oslanjala na uvoz ruskog plina prije rata, osigurala je golemu državnu pomoć potrošačima, napunila skladišta plinom i pronašla nove izvore energije otkako je Moskva zavrnula slavinu.

Vlada je prošli tjedan objavila da očekuje da će njemačko gospodarstvo ove godine izbjeći recesiju, premda su podaci objavljeni u ponedjeljak pokazali kontrakciju u posljednja tri mjeseca 2022. godine.

Kako bi povećala zalihe za zimu, Njemačka i njezini europski susjedi kupili su LNG od Katara i SAD-a, skuplji od ruskog plina koji je dolazio plinovodima.

Uvoz LNG-a u Europi skočio je za 60 posto 2022. u odnosu na godinu prije, po podacima Instituta za energetsku ekonomiju i financijske analize (IEEFA).

Zbog toga „se nije dogodio najgori scenarij predviđen za 2022./2023.”, rekao je Fabian Skarboe Ronningen, viši analitičar za energetska tržišta pri Rystad Energy.

Apsolutno izvanredno

Europska skladišta plina trenutačno su puna 72 posto, dvostruko više nego u istom razdoblju lani.

Budući da su temperature ove zime blaže nego obično, europski potrošači kasnije su upalili grijanje pa su rezerve plina i dalje visoke, a računi za grijanje pod kontrolom.

Potražnja za prirodnim plinom pala je 12 posto nakon ruske invazije u veljači u odnosu na prosjek 2019.-2021., po ‘think tanku‘ Bruegelu iz Bruxellesa.

„To je, mislim, apsolutno izvanredno”, rekao je znanstvenik Simone Tagliapietra.

Opskrbi je pomoglo i postupno vraćanje u pogon nekoliko francuskih nuklearnih reaktora.

Nakon ruske invazije europske cijene energije dosegle su rekordne razine, premašivši 300 eura po MWh u kolovozu nakon čega su pale jer su vlade prionule stvaranju većih zaliha.

Ali taj pad tek trebaju osjetiti računi kućanstava jer veletrgovci kupuju mjesecima unaprijed, a potrošači moraju platiti rast inflacije.

„Čak će i idući mjesec biti teško pokriti”, rekla je Dora Jesus, 42-godišnja Londončanka koja prima socijalnu pomoć, a čiji je račun porastao s 82 na preko 100 funti.

Utrka za plinom

Neki analitičari smatraju da ćemo godinama morati čekati da se cijene vrate na uobičajene razine.

„Sve oči već su uprte na zimu 2023./2024.”, rekao je Ronningen, napominjući da se neće moći računati na opskrbu iz Rusije.

„Europa će se 2023. sve više oslanjati na LNG jer je će to biti prva cijela godina s jako malim količinama plina iz Rusije”, rekao je.

A ako se azijska potražnja oporavi, „natjecanje Europe i Azije za LNG će biti još veće, što bi moglo rezultirati višim cijenama nego sada”.

Tagliapietra smatra da je "Europa je u boljoj poziciji u odnosu na prošlu godinu jer je prošle godine uspjela pronaći novu energetsku ravnotežu nakon šoka izazvana prekidom ruske opskrbe”.

Rekao je da potražnja mora biti pod kontrolom što je dulje moguće, dok se više obnovljivih izvora ne uključi u sustav.

„Mislim da će biti jako važno da se europske države koordiniraju u punjenju skladišta jer moramo izbjeći utrku za plinom koju smo vidjeli ljetos”, rekao je.

„Što se više budemo koordinirali, moći ćemo uštedjeti više novca”.

Europa se zasad dobro nosi s energetskom krizom koja je uslijedila nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, ali poduzeća i kućanstva već razmišljaju kako će preživjeti iduću zimu.

Topla zima, državna pomoć, puna skladišta plina i uvoz energije iz drugih regija pomogli su Europi da ograniči gospodarsku štetu izazvanu ratom.

Pivovara Veltins kod zapadnog njemačkog industrijskog grada Dortmunda prilagodila se situaciji koristeći boce koje se mogu ponovno koristiti, peći na plin jednim je dijelom preuredila u peći na loživo ulje i potrošila 30 milijuna eura za zalihe sirovina.

„Nismo morali smanjiti proizvodnju”, rekao je glasnogovornik Veltinsa, Ulrich Biene, za AFP.

Njemačka, koja se jako oslanjala na uvoz ruskog plina prije rata, osigurala je golemu državnu pomoć potrošačima, napunila skladišta plinom i pronašla nove izvore energije otkako je Moskva zavrnula slavinu.

Vlada je prošli tjedan objavila da očekuje da će njemačko gospodarstvo ove godine izbjeći recesiju, premda su podaci objavljeni u ponedjeljak pokazali kontrakciju u posljednja tri mjeseca 2022. godine.

Kako bi povećala zalihe za zimu, Njemačka i njezini europski susjedi kupili su LNG od Katara i SAD-a, skuplji od ruskog plina koji je dolazio plinovodima.

Uvoz LNG-a u Europi skočio je za 60 posto 2022. u odnosu na godinu prije, po podacima Instituta za energetsku ekonomiju i financijske analize (IEEFA).

Zbog toga „se nije dogodio najgori scenarij predviđen za 2022./2023.”, rekao je Fabian Skarboe Ronningen, viši analitičar za energetska tržišta pri Rystad Energy.

Europska skladišta plina trenutačno su puna 72 posto, dvostruko više nego u istom razdoblju lani.

Budući da su temperature ove zime blaže nego obično, europski potrošači kasnije su upalili grijanje pa su rezerve plina i dalje visoke, a računi za grijanje pod kontrolom.

Potražnja za prirodnim plinom pala je 12 posto nakon ruske invazije u veljači u odnosu na prosjek 2019.-2021., po ‘think tanku‘ Bruegelu iz Bruxellesa.

„To je, mislim, apsolutno izvanredno”, rekao je znanstvenik Simone Tagliapietra.

Opskrbi je pomoglo i postupno vraćanje u pogon nekoliko francuskih nuklearnih reaktora.

Nakon ruske invazije europske cijene energije dosegle su rekordne razine, premašivši 300 eura po MWh u kolovozu nakon čega su pale jer su vlade prionule stvaranju većih zaliha.

Ali taj pad tek trebaju osjetiti računi kućanstava jer veletrgovci kupuju mjesecima unaprijed, a potrošači moraju platiti rast inflacije.

„Čak će i idući mjesec biti teško pokriti”, rekla je Dora Jesus, 42-godišnja Londončanka koja prima socijalnu pomoć, a čiji je račun porastao s 82 na preko 100 funti.

Utrka za plinom

Neki analitičari smatraju da ćemo godinama morati čekati da se cijene vrate na uobičajene razine.

„Sve oči već su uprte na zimu 2023./2024.”, rekao je Ronningen, napominjući da se neće moći računati na opskrbu iz Rusije.

„Europa će se 2023. sve više oslanjati na LNG jer je će to biti prva cijela godina s jako malim količinama plina iz Rusije”, rekao je.

A ako se azijska potražnja oporavi, „natjecanje Europe i Azije za LNG će biti još veće, što bi moglo rezultirati višim cijenama nego sada”.

Tagliapietra smatra da je "Europa je u boljoj poziciji u odnosu na prošlu godinu jer je prošle godine uspjela pronaći novu energetsku ravnotežu nakon šoka izazvana prekidom ruske opskrbe”.

Rekao je da potražnja mora biti pod kontrolom što je dulje moguće, dok se više obnovljivih izvora ne uključi u sustav.

„Mislim da će biti jako važno da se europske države koordiniraju u punjenju skladišta jer moramo izbjeći utrku za plinom koju smo vidjeli ljetos”, rekao je.

„Što se više budemo koordinirali, moći ćemo uštedjeti više novca”.

Europa se zasad dobro nosi s energetskom krizom koja je uslijedila nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, ali poduzeća i kućanstva već razmišljaju kako će preživjeti iduću zimu.

Topla zima, državna pomoć, puna skladišta plina i uvoz energije iz drugih regija pomogli su Europi da ograniči gospodarsku štetu izazvanu ratom.

Pivovara Veltins kod zapadnog njemačkog industrijskog grada Dortmunda prilagodila se situaciji koristeći boce koje se mogu ponovno koristiti, peći na plin jednim je dijelom preuredila u peći na loživo ulje i potrošila 30 milijuna eura za zalihe sirovina.

„Nismo morali smanjiti proizvodnju”, rekao je glasnogovornik Veltinsa, Ulrich Biene, za AFP.

Njemačka, koja se jako oslanjala na uvoz ruskog plina prije rata, osigurala je golemu državnu pomoć...
