Američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken u utorak je, nakon susreta s arapskim saveznicima, izraelskim čelnicima prenio da oni žele suradnju s Izraelom, što je također i dugoročni izraelski cilj, ali samo ako otvore put prema uspostavi održive palestinske države.

Ovo je četvrti krizni posjetu Blinkena Bliskom istoku od početka rata u nastojanju da obuzda rat u Gazi, dan nakon što su u napadima na Siriju i Libanon ubijeni visokopozicionirani pripadnici Hamasa i njihova saveznika Hezbolaha.

Blinken je rekao da će s izraelskim čelnicima podijeliti što je čuo tijekom posljednja dva dana razgovora s Jordanom, Katarom, Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima (UEA) i Saudijskom Arabijom.

Blinken se sastao s Netanyahuom te će također razgovarati sa svim članovima ratnog kabineta oformljenog nakon divljačkog napada Hamasa na naselja, kibuce i glazbeni festival na jugu Izraela u kojem je ubijeno 1200 ljudi.

Hamasovci su taj dan oteli 250 talaca, od kojih su 132 i dalje u zatočeništvu, kaže Izrael. Pretpostavlja se da je od njih najmanje 25 ubijeno. Do sada niti jedna humanitarna udruga nije uspjela obići taoce, uključujući i Međunarodni odbor Crvenog križa (ICRC) kao niti jedna agencija UN-a.

Sastanci šefa američke diplomacije diljem regije usredotočeni su na dugoročni pristup desetljećima starom izraelsko-palestinskom sukobu, uključujući i put prema okončanju rata u Pojasu Gaze.

Nakon sastanka s arapskim saveznicima rekao je da oni žele suradnju s Izraelom, što je također i izraelski dugoročni cilj, ali samo ako to uključuje "praktični put" prema palestinskoj državi.

"Vjerujem da se ovdje ukazuju stvarne prilike. Ali moramo prebroditi ovaj iznimno izazovan trenutak i osigurati da se 7. listopada više nikada ne dogodi te jako bi surađivali u izgradnji drugačije i puno bolje budućnosti", rekao je Blinken izraelskom kolegi Israelu Katzu.

Nakon Hamsovog pokolja Izrael je pokrenuo sveobuhvatnu ofenzivu na Pojas Gaze u kojoj je, prema zdravstvenim vlastima enklave poginulo 23.000 Palestinaca, a humanitarna situacije se sve dramatičnije pogoršava.

Blinken je već ranije rekao da će od Izraela zatražiti da zaštita civilnog stanovništva bude "apsolutni imperativ". Predsjednik Joe Biden je sinoć rekao da Washington potiho pritišće Izrael da počne s povlačenjem svojih snaga iz Gaze.

Izrael je priopćio da su njegove snage na sjeveru Gaze sada više usmjerene na ciljane akcije dok se na jugu enklave i dalje vode intenzivne borbene akcije.

Hamasovo vojno krilo u ponedjeljak je priopćilo je da su njegovi borci ispalili rakete na izraelski grad Tel Aviv kao odgovor na ono što nazivaju "cionističkim masakrima nad civilima".

Isti dan je je izraelski ministar obrane Yoav Gallant rekao da intenzitet ofenzive u Gazi pokazuje odlučnost njegove zemlje da uništi militantnu islamističku skupinu Hamas koja vlada enklavom te da odvrati potencijalne proiranske suparnike, uključujući Hezbolah u Libanonu.

"Moje je temeljno stajalište: Borimo se protiv osovine, a ne samo jednog neprijatelja. Iran gradi vojnu silu oko Izraela kako bi je upotrijebio", rekao je Gallant.

Blinken je u razgovorima s arapskim saveznicima rekao da je "ovo je trenutak velikih napetosti u regiji, sukob koji bi lako mogao metastazirati i izazvati još više nesigurnosti i patnje".

Američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken u utorak je, nakon susreta s arapskim saveznicima, izraelskim čelnicima prenio da oni žele suradnju s Izraelom, što je također i dugoročni izraelski cilj, ali samo ako otvore put prema uspostavi održive palestinske države.

Ovo je četvrti krizni posjetu Blinkena Bliskom istoku od početka rata u nastojanju da obuzda rat u Gazi, dan nakon što su u napadima na Siriju i Libanon ubijeni visokopozicionirani pripadnici Hamasa i njihova saveznika Hezbolaha.

Blinken je rekao da će s izraelskim čelnicima podijeliti što je čuo tijekom posljednja dva dana razgovora s Jordanom, Katarom, Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima (UEA) i Saudijskom Arabijom.

Blinken se sastao s Netanyahuom te će također razgovarati sa svim članovima ratnog kabineta oformljenog nakon divljačkog napada Hamasa na naselja, kibuce i glazbeni festival na jugu Izraela u kojem je ubijeno 1200 ljudi.

Hamasovci su taj dan oteli 250 talaca, od kojih su 132 i dalje u zatočeništvu, kaže Izrael. Pretpostavlja se da je od njih najmanje 25 ubijeno. Do sada niti jedna humanitarna udruga nije uspjela obići taoce, uključujući i Međunarodni odbor Crvenog križa (ICRC) kao niti jedna agencija UN-a.

Sastanci šefa američke diplomacije diljem regije usredotočeni su na dugoročni pristup desetljećima starom izraelsko-palestinskom sukobu, uključujući i put prema okončanju rata u Pojasu Gaze.

Nakon sastanka s arapskim saveznicima rekao je da oni žele suradnju s Izraelom, što je također i izraelski dugoročni cilj, ali samo ako to uključuje "praktični put" prema palestinskoj državi.

"Vjerujem da se ovdje ukazuju stvarne prilike. Ali moramo prebroditi ovaj iznimno izazovan trenutak i osigurati da se 7. listopada više nikada ne dogodi te jako bi surađivali u izgradnji drugačije i puno bolje budućnosti", rekao je Blinken izraelskom kolegi Israelu Katzu.

Nakon Hamsovog pokolja Izrael je pokrenuo sveobuhvatnu ofenzivu na Pojas Gaze u kojoj je, prema zdravstvenim vlastima enklave poginulo 23.000 Palestinaca, a humanitarna situacije se sve dramatičnije pogoršava.

Blinken je već ranije rekao da će od Izraela zatražiti da zaštita civilnog stanovništva bude "apsolutni imperativ". Predsjednik Joe Biden je sinoć rekao da Washington potiho pritišće Izrael da počne s povlačenjem svojih snaga iz Gaze.

Izrael je priopćio da su njegove snage na sjeveru Gaze sada više usmjerene na ciljane akcije dok se na jugu enklave i dalje vode intenzivne borbene akcije.

Hamasovo vojno krilo u ponedjeljak je priopćilo je da su njegovi borci ispalili rakete na izraelski grad Tel Aviv kao odgovor na ono što nazivaju "cionističkim masakrima nad civilima".

Isti dan je je izraelski ministar obrane Yoav Gallant rekao da intenzitet ofenzive u Gazi pokazuje odlučnost njegove zemlje da uništi militantnu islamističku skupinu Hamas koja vlada enklavom te da odvrati potencijalne proiranske suparnike, uključujući Hezbolah u Libanonu.

"Moje je temeljno stajalište: Borimo se protiv osovine, a ne samo jednog neprijatelja. Iran gradi vojnu silu oko Izraela kako bi je upotrijebio", rekao je Gallant.

Blinken je u razgovorima s arapskim saveznicima rekao da je "ovo je trenutak velikih napetosti u regiji, sukob koji bi lako mogao metastazirati i izazvati još više nesigurnosti i patnje".
