U svom posljednjem govoru u Philadelphiji, američki predsjednik Joe Biden je poručio da je SAD "nacija koja odbacuje nasilje kao političko sredstvo" i "ne potiče nasilje." 

Međutim, a kako internet sve pamti, osvanule su montaže s njegovim prijašnjim obraćanima u kojima je... Pa, poticao na nasilje. I to nasilje velikih razmjera.

"Kad sam bio na vašoj poziciji, predlagao sam da bombardiramo Beograd. Predlagao sam da pošaljemo američke pilote i dignemo u zrak sve mostove na Drini. Predlagao sam da neutraliziramo njihove zalihe nafte", gorljivo je svjedočio Biden na sastanku Odbora za vanjske poslove Senata 1998. - godinu dana prije nego što su prve bombe pale na srpsku prijestolnicu.

No to nije jedini put da se Biden zalagao za oružane sukobe. Ili, bolje rečeno, invazije. Iste te kobne 1998. je prizivao specijalnu vojnu operaciju u Iraku.

"Dok god je Saddam na čelu, neće postojati garancije da smo iskorijenili čitav njegov program vezan za oružja masovnog uništenja. Vi i ja i svi ovdje znamo da se s tim moramo suočiti i da je jedini način da se rješimo Saddama Husseina da ćemo morati rješiti to sami za što će trebati pješadija u uniformama u pustinji koji će eliminirati tog kučkinog s... Saddama", samouvjereno je pričao Biden, dok se publika u pozadini smijala.

Aktualni američki predsjednik je 2001. podigao ruku za invaziju Afganistana, uostalom, kao i svi ostali tadašnji senatori. Što se tiče zaposjedanja Libije i likvidacije njenog čelnika Muammara al-Gaddafija, Biden je odao priznanje Obaminoj administraciji za dobro obavljen posao.

"Amerika je ukupno potrošila dvije milijarde dolara i nije izgubila niti jedan život. Ovo je recept za to kako ćemo se ubuduće nositi sa svijetom u odnosu kako smo to činili u prošlosti", rekao je publici na Sveučilištu Plymouth State, tvrdeći da su troškovi operacije u Libiji bili niski, i u životima i u dolarima, u usporedbi s drugim vojnim akcijama.

Što se tiče aktualnog rata u Ukrajini, Biden je i tu prilično sklon vojnim rješenjima. “Držat ćemo stranu Ukrajine, a cijeli (NATO) savez će podupirati Ukrajinu koliko god je potrebno da se zapravo osigura da ne budu poraženi. Rusija, zapravo, ne smije poraziti Ukrajinu i krenuti dalje od Ukrajine. Ovo je kritična, kritična pozicija za svijet”, istaknuo je američki lider u lipnju.

U svom posljednjem govoru u Philadelphiji, američki predsjednik Joe Biden je poručio da je SAD "nacija koja odbacuje nasilje kao političko sredstvo" i "ne potiče nasilje." 

Međutim, a kako internet sve pamti, osvanule su montaže s njegovim prijašnjim obraćanima u kojima je... Pa, poticao na nasilje. I to nasilje velikih razmjera.

"Kad sam bio na vašoj poziciji, predlagao sam da bombardiramo Beograd. Predlagao sam da pošaljemo američke pilote i dignemo u zrak sve mostove na Drini. No to nije jedini put da se Biden zalagao za oružane sukobe. Ili, bolje rečeno, invazije. Iste te kobne 1998. je prizivao specijalnu vojnu operaciju u Iraku.

"Dok god je Saddam na čelu, neće postojati garancije da smo iskorijenili čitav njegov program vezan za oružja masovnog uništenja. Vi i ja i svi ovdje znamo da se s tim moramo suočiti i da je jedini način da se rješimo Saddama Husseina da ćemo morati rješiti to sami za što će trebati pješadija u uniformama u pustinji koji će eliminirati tog kučkinog s... Aktualni američki predsjednik je 2001. podigao ruku za invaziju Afganistana, uostalom, kao i svi ostali tadašnji senatori. Što se tiče zaposjedanja Libije i likvidacije njenog čelnika Muammara al-Gaddafija, Biden je odao priznanje Obaminoj administraciji za dobro obavljen posao.

"Amerika je ukupno potrošila dvije milijarde dolara i nije izgubila niti jedan život. Ovo je recept za to kako ćemo se ubuduće nositi sa svijetom u odnosu kako smo to činili u prošlosti", rekao je publici na Sveučilištu Plymouth State, tvrdeći da su troškovi operacije u Libiji bili niski, i u životima i u dolarima, u usporedbi s drugim vojnim akcijama.

Što se tiče aktualnog rata u Ukrajini, Biden je i tu prilično sklon vojnim rješenjima. “Držat ćemo stranu Ukrajine, a cijeli (NATO) savez će podupirati Ukrajinu koliko god je potrebno da se zapravo osigura da ne budu poraženi. Rusija, zapravo, ne smije poraziti Ukrajinu i krenuti dalje od Ukrajine. Ovo je kritična, kritična pozicija za svijet”, istaknuo je američki lider u lipnju.

U svom posljednjem govoru u Philadelphiji, američki predsjednik Joe Biden je poručio da je SAD "nacija koja odbacuje nasilje kao političko sredstvo" i "ne potiče nasilje." 

Međutim, a kako internet sve pamti, osvanule su montaže s njegovim prijašnjim obraćanima u kojima je... Pa, poticao na nasilje. I to nasilje velikih razmjera.

"Kad sam bio na vašoj poziciji, predlagao sam da bombardiramo Beograd. Predlagao sam da pošaljemo američke pilote i dignemo u zrak sve mostove na Drini. Predlagao sam da neutraliziramo njihove zalihe nafte", gorljivo je svjedočio Biden na sastanku Odbora za vanjske poslove Senata 1998. - godinu dana prije nego što su prve bombe pale na srpsku prijestolnicu.
