Belgijske su vlasti u srijedu suspendirale cijepljenje Janssenom, cjepivom kompanije Johnson&Johnson za mlađe od 41 godine jer je jedna žena umrla nakon što je primila cjepivo.

"Međuministarska konferencija odlučila je privremeno zaustaviti cijepljenje Janssenom za građane mlađe od 41 godine dok ne stigne detaljnija analiza koristi i rizika EMA-e (Europska agencija za lijekove)", stoji u priopćenju vlasti zaduženih za javno zdravstvo.

Žena mlađa od 40 godina umrla je 21. svibnja. Prethodno je bila hospitalizirana zbog teškog slučaja tromboze i manjka trombocita, navodi se u priopćenju.

Cijepljena je preko svog poslodavca i izvan službene belgijske kampanje cijepljenja.

Dosad je u Belgiju stiglo 40 tisuća doza Janssena, a 80 posto doza ubrizgano je starijima od 45 godina, stoji u priopćenju.

J&J je objavio 20. travnja da će nastaviti isporuku cjepiva u Europsku uniju, ali uz upozorenje na etiketi, nakon što je od nekih zemalja, uključujući Belgiju, zatražio da privremeno zaustave cijepljenje zbog rijetkih slučajeva krvnih ugrušaka nakon cijepljenja.

Kompanija tvrdi da nije utvrđena jasna uzročno-posljedična veza između ugrušaka i cjepiva, a EMA ističe da su koristi veće od rizika.

Cjepivo Janssen, koje se daje samo u jednoj dozi, u Belgiji se primarno koristi za cijepljenje starijih u njihovim domovima i za ranjive skupine poput beskućina i migranata bez dokumenata.

Belgija je zatražila savjet od EMA-e za procjenu veze između smrti žene i cjepiva J&J, ali nije rekla kada očekuje konačno mišljenje europske agencije.

Belgijske su vlasti u srijedu suspendirale cijepljenje Janssenom, cjepivom kompanije Johnson&Johnson za mlađe od 41 godine jer je jedna žena umrla nakon što je primila cjepivo.

"Međuministarska konferencija odlučila je privremeno zaustaviti cijepljenje Janssenom za građane mlađe od 41 godine dok ne stigne detaljnija analiza koristi i rizika EMA-e (Europska agencija za lijekove)", stoji u priopćenju vlasti zaduženih za javno zdravstvo.

Žena mlađa od 40 godina umrla je 21. svibnja. Prethodno je bila hospitalizirana zbog teškog slučaja tromboze i manjka trombocita, navodi se u priopćenju.

Cijepljena je preko svog poslodavca i izvan službene belgijske kampanje cijepljenja.

Dosad je u Belgiju stiglo 40 tisuća doza Janssena, a 80 posto doza ubrizgano je starijima od 45 godina, stoji u priopćenju.

J&J je objavio 20. travnja da će nastaviti isporuku cjepiva u Europsku uniju, ali uz upozorenje na etiketi, nakon što je od nekih zemalja, uključujući Belgiju, zatražio da privremeno zaustave cijepljenje zbog rijetkih slučajeva krvnih ugrušaka nakon cijepljenja.

Kompanija tvrdi da nije utvrđena jasna uzročno-posljedična veza između ugrušaka i cjepiva, a EMA ističe da su koristi veće od rizika.

Cjepivo Janssen, koje se daje samo u jednoj dozi, u Belgiji se primarno koristi za cijepljenje starijih u njihovim domovima i za ranjive skupine poput beskućina i migranata bez dokumenata.

Belgija je zatražila savjet od EMA-e za procjenu veze između smrti žene i cjepiva J&J, ali nije rekla kada očekuje konačno mišljenje europske agencije.

Belgijske su vlasti u srijedu suspendirale cijepljenje Janssenom, cjepivom kompanije Johnson&Johnson za mlađe od 41 godine jer je jedna žena umrla nakon što je primila cjepivo.

"Međuministarska konferencija odlučila je privremeno zaustaviti cijepljenje Janssenom za građane mlađe od 41 godine dok ne stigne detaljnija analiza koristi i rizika EMA-e (Europska agencija za lijekove)", stoji u priopćenju vlasti zaduženih za javno zdravstvo.

Žena mlađa od 40 godina umrla je 21. svibnja. Prethodno je bila hospitalizirana zbog teškog slučaja tromboze i manjka trombocita, navodi se u priopćenju.

Cijepljena je preko svog poslodavca i izvan službene belgijske kampanje cijepljenja.

Dosad je u Belgiju stiglo 40 tisuća doza Janssena, a 80 posto doza ubrizgano je starijima od 45 godina,...
