Jedna stvar sada je definitvno jasna: od korone nas neće spasiti imunitet krda.

Iako su na to već ranije upozoravali vodeći hrvatski znanstvenici, ovih dana stigla je i službena potvrda. Prvi preliminarni rezultati seroloških testova provedeni u Hrvatskoj pokazali su da od 100 građana samo dvoje razvili antitjela na COVID-19. Što znači da su njihovi organizmi bili u kontaktu sa koronavirusom, bilo da su bili toga svjesni, ili da su asimptomatski bolesnici.

Izrečeno brojno, to je dva posto. Za imunitet krda potrebno je da se novim koronavirusom zarazi 80 ili 90 posto populacije. Što u praksi znači da nam je cjepivo doista jedino rješenje.

Riječ je o uzorcima iz okolice Zagreba. Još se čekaju rezultati preostalih tisuću testova provedenih u cijeloj Hrvatskoj. Tada bi se mogla dobiti potpunija slika.

Serološke testove na svojim zaposlenicima provela je i dubrovačka bolnica. Prije tjedan dana objavljeno je da je pozitivnih rezultata bilo od 3,2 do 3,5 posto. Među njima su i djelatnici kojima je već bila potvrđena dijagnoza zaraze, te između 1,2 do 1,5 posto asimptomatskih pacijenata.

Iako su u startu igrali upravo na kartu imuniteta krda – pa kasnije, pod udarom velikog broja zaraženih i mrtvih, od toga odustali – i u Velikoj Britaniji su godinama daleko od postizanja efekta u kojemu bi visoka prisutnost antitijela u populaciji štitila i one koji nisu preboljeli COVID-19.

Tako su testovi pokazali da jedan od šest ljudi u Londonu i jedna od 20 u čitavoj zemlji u organizmu imaju razvijena antitjela. Što znači da je COVID-19, prema podacima koje je objavio Britanski ministar zdravlja Matt Hancock preboljelo 17 posto stanovnika Londona i oko 5 posto svih Britanaca.

U boljoj situaciji nisu ni Šveđani, koji su u ovoj epidemiji promjenjivali originalan pristup. Za razliku od ostatka Europe, nisu zatvorili sve. Škole, restorani, teretane i bazeni normalno su radili, a građanima je preporučeno da se pridržavaju epidemioloških mjera. Računali su, naime, da teret epidemije na svojim plećima iznesu mladi, zdravi ljudi.

Tamošnja agencija za javo zdravstvo provela je testriranje prisutnosti antitijela kod 1200 stanovnika iz devet švedskih regija.

Rezultati su pokazali da je kolektivni imunitet još dosta daleko. Tek 7,3 posto stanovnika Stockholma, u kojemu je bilo glavno žarište zaraze, imalo je antitjela. U regiji Skåne taj postotak iznosi 4,2, a u Västra Götalandu 3,7 posto.

Od imuniteta krda daleko je i Španjolska, u kojoj je epidemija koronavirusa divljala mjesecima. I gdje je broj zaraženih i mrtvih među najvišima u Europi.

Studija koju je proveo Institut za zdravlje Carlosa III u 36 tisuća kućanstava na 70 tisuća ljudi pokazala je da antitjela imaju 10 do 14 posto građana Madrida i 7 posto građana Barcelone. U čitavoj Španjolskoj u kontaktu sa koronavirusom bilo je 5 posto građana.

Definitivno premalo za kolektivni imunitet. Pa nam pranje ruku i fizička distanca još uvijek ostaju kao jedine brane od zlokobnog virusa. I naravno cjepivo, koje bismo mogli imati tek iduće godine.

Jedna stvar sada je definitvno jasna: od korone nas neće spasiti imunitet krda.

Iako su na to već ranije upozoravali vodeći hrvatski znanstvenici, ovih dana stigla je i službena potvrda. Prvi preliminarni rezultati seroloških testova provedeni u Hrvatskoj pokazali su da od 100 građana samo dvoje razvili antitjela na COVID-19. Što znači da su njihovi organizmi bili u kontaktu sa koronavirusom, bilo da su bili toga svjesni, ili da su asimptomatski bolesnici.

Izrečeno brojno, to je dva posto. Za imunitet krda potrebno je da se novim koronavirusom zarazi 80 ili 90 posto populacije. Što u praksi znači da nam je cjepivo doista jedino rješenje.

Riječ je o uzorcima iz okolice Zagreba. Još se čekaju rezultati preostalih tisuću testova provedenih u cijeloj Hrvatskoj. Tada bi se mogla dobiti potpunija slika.

Serološke testove na svojim zaposlenicima provela je i dubrovačka bolnica. Prije tjedan dana objavljeno je da je pozitivnih rezultata bilo od 3,2 do 3,5 posto. Među njima su i djelatnici kojima je već bila potvrđena dijagnoza zaraze, te između 1,2 do 1,5 posto asimptomatskih pacijenata.

Iako su u startu igrali upravo na kartu imuniteta krda – pa kasnije, pod udarom velikog broja zaraženih i mrtvih, od toga odustali – i u Velikoj Britaniji su godinama daleko od postizanja efekta u kojemu bi visoka prisutnost antitijela u populaciji štitila i one koji nisu preboljeli COVID-19.

Tako su testovi pokazali da jedan od šest ljudi u Londonu i jedna od 20 u čitavoj zemlji u organizmu imaju razvijena antitjela. Što znači da je COVID-19, prema podacima koje je objavio Britanski ministar zdravlja Matt Hancock preboljelo 17 posto stanovnika Londona i oko 5 posto svih Britanaca.

U boljoj situaciji nisu ni Šveđani, koji su u ovoj epidemiji promjenjivali originalan pristup. Za razliku od ostatka Europe, nisu zatvorili sve. Škole, restorani, teretane i bazeni normalno su radili, a građanima je preporučeno da se pridržavaju epidemioloških mjera. Računali su, naime, da teret epidemije na svojim plećima iznesu mladi, zdravi ljudi.

Tamošnja agencija za javo zdravstvo provela je testriranje prisutnosti antitijela kod 1200 stanovnika iz devet švedskih regija.

Rezultati su pokazali da je kolektivni imunitet još dosta daleko. Tek 7,3 posto stanovnika Stockholma, u kojemu je bilo glavno žarište zaraze, imalo je antitjela. U regiji Skåne taj postotak iznosi 4,2, a u Västra Götalandu 3,7 posto.

Od imuniteta krda daleko je i Španjolska, u kojoj je epidemija koronavirusa divljala mjesecima. I gdje je broj zaraženih i mrtvih među najvišima u Europi.

Studija koju je proveo Institut za zdravlje Carlosa III u 36 tisuća kućanstava na 70 tisuća ljudi pokazala je da antitjela imaju 10 do 14 posto građana Madrida i 7 posto građana Barcelone. U čitavoj Španjolskoj u kontaktu sa koronavirusom bilo je 5 posto građana.

Definitivno premalo za kolektivni imunitet. Pa nam pranje ruku i fizička distanca još uvijek ostaju kao jedine brane od zlokobnog virusa. I naravno cjepivo, koje bismo mogli imati tek iduće godine.

Jedna stvar sada je definitvno jasna: od korone nas neće spasiti imunitet krda.

Iako su na to već ranije upozoravali vodeći hrvatski znanstvenici, ovih dana stigla je i službena potvrda. Prvi preliminarni rezultati seroloških testova provedeni u Hrvatskoj pokazali su da od 100 građana samo dvoje razvili antitjela na COVID-19. Što znači da su njihovi organizmi bili u kontaktu sa koronavirusom, bilo da su bili toga svjesni, ili da su asimptomatski bolesnici.

Izrečeno brojno, to je dva posto. Za imunitet krda potrebno je da se novim koronavirusom zarazi 80 ili 90 posto populacije. Što u praksi znači da nam je cjepivo doista jedino rješenje.

Riječ je o uzorcima iz okolice Zagreba. Još se čekaju rezultati preostalih tisuću testova provedenih u cijeloj Hrvatskoj. Tada bi se mogla dob...
