Ivan Đikić gostovao je u HTV-ovoj emisiji 'Dobro jutro, Hrvatska'. Ugledni znanstvenik odgovarao je na pitanja vezana uz pandemiju koronavirusa te na pitanje hoće li se taj virus pojavljivati sezonski, poput gripe, rekao da to u ovom trenutku ne možemo znati, no da 'što više znamo to ćemo biti realniji i vidjeti koliko će on ostati ili nestati, kao što se dogodilo i s nekima prije'.

- Već su počela i klinička ispitivanja cjepiva u koja je uključen veliki broj znanstvenika, a četvorica volontera iz Seattlea su ga i primila - rekao je znanstvenik upozoravajući javnost kako po tom pitanju ipak trebamo biti realni jer cjepivo prije nego ga počnemo koristiti najprije mora proći testiranja.

Đikić je komentirao činjenicu da koronavirus najmanje pogađa djecu te naveo tri moguća razloga za to.

- Više su zaštićena u pojavi simptoma, možda se zaraze, ali imaju vrlo slabu sliku pa ih nismo testirali ni prepoznali. Druga teorija je da dječji imunološki sustav vrlo efikasno djeluje. I treća je da stanice djece nisu tako zarazne i djeca su zaštićena. Svi podaci govore da su najugroženiji bolesnici oni koji imaju probleme s respiratornim traktom, a drugi kriterij je dob, preko 60 godina znatno se povećava rizik smrtnosti - pojašnjava znanstvenik i poziva na dodatni oprez jer premda se virus prenosi kapljičnim putem, preživljava i na površinama.

Neprihvatljivima smatra tvrdnje da je koronavirus dizajniran u laboratoriju pa zatim pušten među ljude. Za to, kaže, ne postoji niti jedan podatak i riječ je o prirodnom procesu.

- Ovakve teorije su apsolutno neprihvatljive jer nema baš niti jedan podatak da je ovaj virus izašao od ikud, nego je stvoren prirodno u životinjskom svijetu. Javnost mora biti umirena, ovo je nešto što se događalo u prošlosti, događat će se u budućnosti, ali to su normalni prirodni procesi na koje moramo biti pripremljeni - rekao je Đikić.

Odgovorio je i na pitanje o mogućoj stopi smrtnosti.

- Ukoliko smrtnih slučajeva bude i u Hrvatskoj, bit će ih ispod 0,3 ili 0,5 posto jer zdravstveni sustav u Hrvatskoj uspješno lovi glavne širitelje virusa - rekao je ugledni znanstvenik za HTV.

Ivan Đikić gostovao je u HTV-ovoj emisiji 'Dobro jutro, Hrvatska'. Ugledni znanstvenik odgovarao je na pitanja vezana uz pandemiju koronavirusa te na pitanje hoće li se taj virus pojavljivati sezonski, poput gripe, rekao da to u ovom trenutku ne možemo znati, no da 'što više znamo to ćemo biti realniji i vidjeti koliko će on ostati ili nestati, kao što se dogodilo i s nekima prije'.

- Već su počela i klinička ispitivanja cjepiva u koja je uključen veliki broj znanstvenika, a četvorica volontera iz Seattlea su ga i primila - rekao je znanstvenik upozoravajući javnost kako po tom pitanju ipak trebamo biti realni jer cjepivo prije nego ga počnemo koristiti najprije mora proći testiranja.

Đikić je komentirao činjenicu da koronavirus najmanje pogađa djecu te naveo tri moguća razloga za to.

- Više su zaštićena u pojavi simptoma, možda se zaraze, ali imaju vrlo slabu sliku pa ih nismo testirali ni prepoznali. Druga teorija je da dječji imunološki sustav vrlo efikasno djeluje. I treća je da stanice djece nisu tako zarazne i djeca su zaštićena. Svi podaci govore da su najugroženiji bolesnici oni koji imaju probleme s respiratornim traktom, a drugi kriterij je dob, preko 60 godina znatno se povećava rizik smrtnosti - pojašnjava znanstvenik i poziva na dodatni oprez jer premda se virus prenosi kapljičnim putem, preživljava i na površinama.

Neprihvatljivima smatra tvrdnje da je koronavirus dizajniran u laboratoriju pa zatim pušten među ljude. Za to, kaže, ne postoji niti jedan podatak i riječ je o prirodnom procesu.

- Ovakve teorije su apsolutno neprihvatljive jer nema baš niti jedan podatak da je ovaj virus izašao od ikud, nego je stvoren prirodno u životinjskom svijetu. Javnost mora biti umirena, ovo je nešto što se događalo u prošlosti, događat će se u budućnosti, ali to su normalni prirodni procesi na koje moramo biti pripremljeni - rekao je Đikić.

Odgovorio je i na pitanje o mogućoj stopi smrtnosti.

- Ukoliko smrtnih slučajeva bude i u Hrvatskoj, bit će ih ispod 0,3 ili 0,5 posto jer zdravstveni sustav u Hrvatskoj uspješno lovi glavne širitelje virusa - rekao je ugledni znanstvenik za HTV.

Ivan Đikić gostovao je u HTV-ovoj emisiji 'Dobro jutro, Hrvatska'. Ugledni znanstvenik odgovarao je na pitanja vezana uz pandemiju koronavirusa te na pitanje hoće li se taj virus pojavljivati sezonski, poput gripe, rekao da to u ovom trenutku ne možemo znati, no da 'što više znamo to ćemo biti realniji i vidjeti koliko će on ostati ili nestati, kao što se dogodilo i s nekima prije'.

- Već su počela i klinička ispitivanja cjepiva u koja je uključen veliki broj znanstvenika, a četvorica volontera iz Seattlea su ga i primila - rekao je znanstvenik upozoravajući javnost kako po tom pitanju ipak trebamo biti realni jer cjepivo prije nego ga počnemo koristiti najprije mora proći testiranja.
