Greenpeace je optužio europske plinske i naftne kompanije da "ništa ne čine" za energetsku tranziciju i da "uopće ne poštuju svoje klimatske obveze", pozivajući vlade da ih prisile da prekinu proizvodnju fosilne energije radi očuvanja klime.
"Europske naftne i plinske kompanije uopće ne sudjeluju u tranziciji", premda "kažu da to čine", rekao je za AFP Jakub Gogolewski iz Greenpeacea. Potonji je, usred toplinskog vala, predstavio analizu izvješća na 110 stranica koje je napisao njemački politolog i stručnjak za energetiku Steffen Bukold.
Po tom izvješću u kojemu su objedinjeni rezultati dvanaest europskih grupacija iz 2022., među kojima BP-a, TotalEnergiesa i Shella, tek 0,3 posto njihove ukupne proizvodnje ostvareno je na području obnovljivih izvora energije.

U prosjeku "tek 7,3 posto ulaganja" dvanaest kompanija odnosilo se na zelene energije, a s 92,7 posto su financirane aktivnosti povezane s fosilnom energijom, poput plina i nafte koji ispuštaju ugljikov dioksid i zagrijavaju klimu, upozorava nevladina organizacija za zaštitu okoliša. "K tome, situacija se pogoršala u 2023."
Većina europskih naftno-plinskih kompanija planira "zadržati, pa i povećati proizvodnju nafte i plina barem do 2030.", premda su se većinom obvezale da će do 2050. ukloniti svoje emisije CO2, ističe nevladina organizacija.
Pod sloganom "termometar eksplodira zahvaljujući industriji fosilnih goriva", nekolicina aktivista je u utorak napravila maketu naftne bušotine u poslovnoj četvrti La Defense, na ulazu u Pariz, gdje je sjedište TotalEnergiesa.

Kao što su učinili za ugljen, nevladina organizacija poziva europske vlade da reguliraju rad energetskih kompanija kako bi ih nagnale da "smanje" svoju proizvodnju, jer "samoregulacija ne daje rezultata". Tako želi da države i Komisija postave "obvezatan cilj smanjenja potrošnje nafte", istaknuo je Gogolewski.
Izvješće pod nazivom "Prljava dvanaestorica", objedinjuje podatke iz godišnjih izvješća šest velikih međunarodnih naftnih kompanija sa sjedištem u Europi za 2022., među kojima su Shell (Velika Britanija-Nizozemska), TotalEnergies (Francuska), BP (Velika Britanija), Equinor (Norveška), Eni (Italija) i Repsol (Španjolska) te šest nacionalnih naftnih i plinskih kompanija, OMV (Austrija), PKN Orien (Poljska), MOL (Madžarska), Wintershall Dea (Njemačka, podružnica BASF-a), Petrol Group (Slovenija) i INA (Hrvatska).

Greenpeace je optužio europske plinske i naftne kompanije da "ništa ne čine" za energetsku tranziciju i da "uopće ne poštuju svoje klimatske obveze", pozivajući vlade da ih prisile da prekinu proizvodnju fosilne energije radi očuvanja klime.
"Europske naftne i plinske kompanije uopće ne sudjeluju u tranziciji", premda "kažu da to čine", rekao je za AFP Jakub Gogolewski iz Greenpeacea. Potonji je, usred toplinskog vala, predstavio analizu izvješća na 110 stranica koje je napisao njemački politolog i stručnjak za energetiku Steffen Bukold.
Po tom izvješću u kojemu su objedinjeni rezultati dvanaest europskih grupacija iz 2022., među kojima BP-a, TotalEnergiesa i Shella, tek 0,3 posto njihove ukupne proizvodnje ostvareno je na području obnovljivih izvora energije.

U prosjeku "tek 7,3 posto ulaganja" dvanaest kompanija odnosilo se na zelene energije, a s 92,7 posto su financirane aktivnosti povezane s fosilnom energijom, poput plina i nafte koji ispuštaju ugljikov dioksid i zagrijavaju klimu, upozorava nevladina organizacija za zaštitu okoliša. "K tome, situacija se pogoršala u 2023."
Većina europskih naftno-plinskih kompanija planira "zadržati, pa i povećati proizvodnju nafte i plina barem do 2030.", premda su se većinom obvezale da će do 2050. ukloniti svoje emisije CO2, ističe nevladina organizacija.
Pod sloganom "termometar eksplodira zahvaljujući industriji fosilnih goriva", nekolicina aktivista je u utorak napravila maketu naftne bušotine u poslovnoj četvrti La Defense, na ulazu u Pariz, gdje je sjedište TotalEnergiesa.

Kao što su učinili za ugljen, nevladina organizacija poziva europske vlade da reguliraju rad energetskih kompanija kako bi ih nagnale da "smanje" svoju proizvodnju, jer "samoregulacija ne daje rezultata". Tako želi da države i Komisija postave "obvezatan cilj smanjenja potrošnje nafte", istaknuo je Gogolewski.
Izvješće pod nazivom "Prljava dvanaestorica", objedinjuje podatke iz godišnjih izvješća šest velikih međunarodnih naftnih kompanija sa sjedištem u Europi za 2022., među kojima su Shell (Velika Britanija-Nizozemska), TotalEnergies (Francuska), BP (Velika Britanija), Equinor (Norveška), Eni (Italija) i Repsol (Španjolska) te šest nacionalnih naftnih i plinskih kompanija, OMV (Austrija), PKN Orien (Poljska), MOL (Madžarska), Wintershall Dea (Njemačka, podružnica BASF-a), Petrol Group (Slovenija) i INA (Hrvatska).
