Zrakoplovna kompanija British Airways planira ukinuti čak 12.000 radnih mjesta zbog dugoročnih posljedica koje koronavirus ostavlja na njezinu djelatnost, priopćila je njezina matična grupacija IAG.

Potonji, u čijem su vlasništvu, među ostalim, Iberia i Vueling, obrazlaže u priopćenju da je ovakvu odluku donio zbog činjenice da će za povratak zračnog prometa u normalu trebati godine.

British Airways (BA) trenutačno zapošljava 42.000 ljudi.

"Piloti BA-e i osoblje ogorčeni su ovom (...) neočekivanom vijesti aviokompanije koja je tvrdila da je dovoljno financijski potkovana da se uhvati ukoštac s olujom covidom i koja je odbila svaku pomoć vlade", reagirao je na Twitteru Brian Strutton, glavni tajnik sindikata pilota British Airwaysa Balpe.

IAG prelazi na djelo pošto je upozorio da je smanjenje broja zaposlenika neminovno zbog krize koja paralizira zračni promet.
Španjolsko-britanska grupacija nije jedina koja trpi zbog pandemije. Skandinavska aviokompanija SAS objavila je nešto ranije u utorak da će otpustiti 5.000 zaposlenih.

IAG napominje da je počeo razgovore sa sindikatima o otpuštanju. Podsjeća da je 22.600 zaposlenika BA-e bilo na 'čekanju' i da im je vlada za to vrijeme isplaćivala 80 posto plaće.

British Airways trenutačno održava tek manji broj letova iz londonske zračne luke Heathrowa a prije ih je imao više od 300 na dan. 

Promet mu je u travnju pao za 94 posto.

Zrakoplovna kompanija British Airways planira ukinuti čak 12.000 radnih mjesta zbog dugoročnih posljedica koje koronavirus ostavlja na njezinu djelatnost, priopćila je njezina matična grupacija IAG.

Potonji, u čijem su vlasništvu, među ostalim, Iberia i Vueling, obrazlaže u priopćenju da je ovakvu odluku donio zbog činjenice da će za povratak zračnog prometa u normalu trebati godine.

British Airways (BA) trenutačno zapošljava 42.000 ljudi.

"Piloti BA-e i osoblje ogorčeni su ovom (...) neočekivanom vijesti aviokompanije koja je tvrdila da je dovoljno financijski potkovana da se uhvati ukoštac s olujom covidom i koja je odbila svaku pomoć vlade", reagirao je na Twitteru Brian Strutton, glavni tajnik sindikata pilota British Airwaysa Balpe.

IAG prelazi na djelo pošto je upozorio da je smanjenje broja zaposlenika neminovno zbog krize koja paralizira zračni promet.
Španjolsko-britanska grupacija nije jedina koja trpi zbog pandemije. Skandinavska aviokompanija SAS objavila je nešto ranije u utorak da će otpustiti 5.000 zaposlenih.

IAG napominje da je počeo razgovore sa sindikatima o otpuštanju. Podsjeća da je 22.600 zaposlenika BA-e bilo na 'čekanju' i da im je vlada za to vrijeme isplaćivala 80 posto plaće.

British Airways trenutačno održava tek manji broj letova iz londonske zračne luke Heathrowa a prije ih je imao više od 300 na dan. 

Promet mu je u travnju pao za 94 posto.

Zrakoplovna kompanija British Airways planira ukinuti čak 12.000 radnih mjesta zbog dugoročnih posljedica koje koronavirus ostavlja na njezinu djelatnost, priopćila je njezina matična grupacija IAG.

Potonji, u čijem su vlasništvu, među ostalim, Iberia i Vueling, obrazlaže u priopćenju da je ovakvu odluku donio zbog činjenice da će za povratak zračnog prometa u normalu trebati godine.
