U iznenadnom preokretu, katarski dužnosnici odlučili su da će jedino piće koje će se prodavati navijačima na stadionima tijekom mjesec dana Svjetskog prvenstva biti bezalkoholno! Tu informaciju donosi New York Times.

Odluku o zabrani prodaje alkoholnog piva potvrdio je u petak ujutro dužnosnik Svjetskog prvenstva upoznat s promjenom planova. Dužnosnik je zamolio da ne bude imenovan jer nisu ovlašteni razgovarati s medijima i zato što Katar još uvijek priprema svoje službeno priopćenje.

Taj je potez posljednja i najdramatičnija promjena u razvoju plana o alkoholu koji je mjesecima povećavao napetosti između FIFA-e i Katara, konzervativne muslimanske nacije u kojoj je prodaja alkohola strogo kontrolirana.

No, Katar je najprije pristao na uvjete FIFE, obećali su i potpisali da će se prodavati pivo (alkoholno!), a sada su pred gotov čin doveli dužnosnike FIFE. 

No, kako piše NYT, sve će ovo zakomplicirati FIFA-in sponzorski ugovor od 75 milijuna dolara s Budweiserom, te će razbjesniti obožavatelje koji su već ljuti na ograničenja i još jednom ostaviti organizatore da se muče s prilagodbom - ovaj put samo 48 sati prije otvaranja turnira.

Ova najnovija odluka sugerira da FIFA, koja se godinama suočavala s žestokim kritikama zbog svoje odluke da prvenstvo dovede u Katar, možda više nema potpunu kontrolu nad glavnim odlukama vezanim uz svoj događaj.

Službeni vodič za navijače organizacije i dalje navodi da će "vlasnici ulaznica imati pristup proizvodima Budweiser, Budweiser Zero i Coca-Cola unutar stadiona" najmanje tri sata prije utakmica i jedan sat nakon njih. No sad dolazi do promjene.

Ali, napomenimo, pivo će i dalje biti dostupno u luksuznim apartmanima rezerviranim za dužnosnike FIFA-e i druge bogate goste.

Organizatori Svjetskog kupa u petak su odbili komentirati novi plan za alkohol. Predstavnici Budweisera, koji su prošli tjedan rekli da su iznenađeni ranijim promjenama Katara u njihovoj prodajnoj strategiji za Svjetsko prvenstvo, nisu odmah odgovorili na zahtjeve za komentar.

Prošlog su tjedna katarski organizatori pokušali umanjiti rastuću napetost oko prodaje piva, koja je generacijama bila dio Svjetskih prvenstava, rekavši da se operativni planovi još dovršavaju i da se još uvijek rade promjene na "lokaciji određenih područja za navijače", navodi NYT.

U komentarima navijači navode da ne mogu doći sebi, da je pivo zaštitni znak svakog prvenstva, šokirani su odlukom zemlje domaćina. Već se spominje da je FIFA itekako požalila što je prvenstvo dovela u ovu konzervativnu zemlju...

Odluku o zabrani prodaje alkoholnog piva potvrdio je u petak ujutro dužnosnik Svjetskog prvenstva upoznat s promjenom planova. Dužnosnik je zamolio da ne bude imenovan jer nisu ovlašteni razgovarati s medijima i zato što Katar još uvijek priprema svoje službeno priopćenje.

Taj je potez posljednja i najdramatičnija promjena u razvoju plana o alkoholu koji je mjesecima povećavao napetosti između FIFA-e i Katara, konzervativne muslimanske nacije u kojoj je prodaja alkohola strogo kontrolirana.

No, Katar je najprije pristao na uvjete FIFE, obećali su i potpisali da će se prodavati pivo (alkoholno!), a sada su pred gotov čin doveli dužnosnike FIFE. 

No, kako piše NYT, sve će ovo zakomplicirati FIFA-in sponzorski ugovor od 75 milijuna dolara s Budweiserom, te će razbjesniti obožavatelje koji su već ljuti na ograničenja i još jednom ostaviti organizatore da se muče s prilagodbom - ovaj put samo 48 sati prije otvaranja turnira.

Ova najnovija odluka sugerira da FIFA, koja se godinama suočavala s žestokim kritikama zbog svoje odluke da prvenstvo dovede u Katar, možda više nema potpunu kontrolu nad glavnim odlukama vezanim uz svoj događaj.

Službeni vodič za navijače organizacije i dalje navodi da će "vlasnici ulaznica imati pristup proizvodima Budweiser, Budweiser Zero i Coca-Cola unutar stadiona" najmanje tri sata prije utakmica i jedan sat nakon njih. No sad dolazi do promjene.

Ali, napomenimo, pivo će i dalje biti dostupno u luksuznim apartmanima rezerviranim za dužnosnike FIFA-e i druge bogate goste.

Organizatori Svjetskog kupa u petak su odbili komentirati novi plan za alkohol. Predstavnici Budweisera, koji su prošli tjedan rekli da su iznenađeni ranijim promjenama Katara u njihovoj prodajnoj strategiji za Svjetsko prvenstvo, nisu odmah odgovorili na zahtjeve za komentar.

Prošlog su tjedna katarski organizatori pokušali umanjiti rastuću napetost oko prodaje piva, koja je generacijama bila dio Svjetskih prvenstava, rekavši da se operativni planovi još dovršavaju i da se još uvijek rade promjene na "lokaciji određenih područja za navijače", navodi NYT.

U komentarima navijači navode da ne mogu doći sebi, da je pivo zaštitni znak svakog prvenstva, šokirani su odlukom zemlje domaćina. Već se spominje da je FIFA itekako požalila što je prvenstvo dovela u ovu konzervativnu zemlju...
