Težak dan na US Openu je iza australskog tenisača Rinkyja Hijikate. U prvom kolu ovaj 111. tenisač svijeta, koji je na turnir ušao s pozivnicom organizatora, pobijedio je Rusa Pavela Kotova 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 u meču koji je trajao četiri sata, ali odmah nakon meča saznao je uznemirujuću vijest. Riječ je bila o pucnjavi na Sveučilištu Sjeverne Karoline u kojoj je smrtno stradala jedna osoba, a gdje njegova djevojka studira - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Izašao sam s terena i vidio da je došlo do pucnjave na Sveučilištu, što mi je bacilo sjenu na pobjedu. Prije svega želim poslati misli i molitve svima u Chapel Hillu jer to nije nešto što želite čuti i vidjeti. Postoje puno važnije stvari od mog teniskog meča. Čini se da je to zapravo realnost života u ovoj zemlji, što ponekad nije dobro - rekao je Hijikata nakon meča.

Hijikata je kasnije saznao da je njegova djevojka neozlijeđena, što ga je, dakako, umirilo, pa se sada može posvetiti pripremi za meč protiv Mađara Martona Fucsovicsa u 2. kolu.

- Ja sam Australac i tamo je dinamika definitivno drugačija, a ovdje postoje trenuci u kojima se ponekad ne osjećate ugodno. Ali definitivno ću biti koncentriran na svoj meč, želim odigrati 10, 20% jače i intenzivnije zbog svih na Sveučilištu, dodao je australski tenisač.

Težak dan na US Openu je iza australskog tenisača Rinkyja Hijikate. U prvom kolu ovaj 111. tenisač svijeta, koji je na turnir ušao s pozivnicom organizatora, pobijedio je Rusa Pavela Kotova 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 u meču koji je trajao četiri sata, ali odmah nakon meča saznao je uznemirujuću vijest. Riječ je bila o pucnjavi na Sveučilištu Sjeverne Karoline u kojoj je smrtno stradala jedna osoba, a gdje njegova djevojka studira - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Izašao sam s terena i vidio da je došlo do pucnjave na Sveučilištu, što mi je bacilo sjenu na pobjedu. Prije svega želim poslati misli i molitve svima u Chapel Hillu jer to nije nešto što želite čuti i vidjeti. Postoje puno važnije stvari od mog teniskog meča. Čini se da je to zapravo realnost života u ovoj zemlji, što ponekad nije dobro - rekao je Hijikata nakon meča.

Hijikata je kasnije saznao da je njegova djevojka neozlijeđena, što ga je, dakako, umirilo, pa se sada može posvetiti pripremi za meč protiv Mađara Martona Fucsovicsa u 2. kolu.

- Ja sam Australac i tamo je dinamika definitivno drugačija, a ovdje postoje trenuci u kojima se ponekad ne osjećate ugodno. Ali definitivno ću biti koncentriran na svoj meč, želim odigrati 10, 20% jače i intenzivnije zbog svih na Sveučilištu, dodao je australski tenisač.

Težak dan za australskog tenisača, nakon pobjede saznao je uznemirujuću vijest

Težak dan na US Openu je iza australskog tenisača Rinkyja Hijikate. U prvom kolu ovaj 111. tenisač svijeta, koji je na turnir ušao s pozivnicom organizatora, pobijedio je Rusa Pavela Kotova 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 u meču koji je trajao četiri sata, ali odmah nakon meča saznao je uznemirujuću vijest. Riječ je bila o pucnjavi na Sveučilištu Sjeverne Karoline u kojoj je smrtno stradala jedna osoba, a gdje njegova djevojka studira - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Izašao sam s terena i vidio da je došlo do pucnjave na Sveučilištu, što mi je bacilo sjenu na pobjedu. Prije svega želim poslati misli i molitve svima u Chapel Hillu jer to nije nešto što želite čuti i vidjeti. Postoje puno važnije stvari od mog teniskog meča. Čini se da je to zapravo realnost života u ovoj zemlji, što ponekad nije dobro - rekao je Hijikata nakon meča.

Hijikata je kasnije saznao da je njegova djevojka neozlijeđena, što ga je, dakako, umirilo, pa se sada može posvetiti pripremi za meč protiv Mađara Martona Fucsovicsa u 2. kolu.

- Ja sam Australac i tamo je dinamika definitivno drugačija, a ovdje postoje trenuci u kojima se ponekad ne osjećate ugodno. Ali definitivno ću biti koncentriran na svoj meč, želim odigrati 10, 20% jače i intenzivnije zbog svih na Sveučilištu, dodao je australski tenisač.
