Otkriće da je njegova majka i bivša trenerica Judy (62) bila seksualno zlostavljana uznemirila je i razljutila nekoć prvog igrača svijeta Andyja Murrayja. Premda se incident dogodio prije osam godina na svečanoj večeri jedne obrazovne zaklade, Murray je za njega saznao tek nedavno, uoči objave Judyjinog teksta u Scottish Postu, prenose Sportske novosti.

Majka ga je tada obavijestila da će pisati o iskustvu zbog kojeg je, kaže, osjetila "mučninu u želucu". Zlostavljao ju je visokopozicionirani član zaklade, na način da je tijekom večere spustio ruku na njezino koljeno i bedra.

- Kad mi je to javila, bio sam vrlo ljut i nisam znao što bih rekao. Poslao sam joj poruku i idući dan je nazvao da provjerim je li dobro. Znam da će se mnoge žene pronaći u ovoj priči. Takvo ponašanje više se ne bi smjelo tolerirati - rekao je Murray za Bloomberg.

Judy je ispričala da je nakon incidenta otrčala u WC, a onda je jedva uspjela održati govor koji je bio dogovoren. Nakon govora je otišla do svojeg stola, uzela torbicu i otišla.

"Htjela sam povratiti, jako me potreslo to što se dogodilo", napisala je.

Andy Murray već godinama je jedan od najglasnijih tenisača kad je riječ o borbi za ravnopravnost spolova, pa se tako između ostalog zalagao i za jednake nagradne fondove na ATP i WTA Touru te na Grand Slamovima.

Otkriće da je njegova majka i bivša trenerica Judy (62) bila seksualno zlostavljana uznemirila je i razljutila nekoć prvog igrača svijeta Andyja Murrayja. Premda se incident dogodio prije osam godina na svečanoj večeri jedne obrazovne zaklade, Murray je za njega saznao tek nedavno, uoči objave Judyjinog teksta u Scottish Postu, prenose Sportske novosti.

Majka ga je tada obavijestila da će pisati o iskustvu zbog kojeg je, kaže, osjetila "mučninu u želucu". Zlostavljao ju je visokopozicionirani član zaklade, na način da je tijekom večere spustio ruku na njezino koljeno i bedra.

- Kad mi je to javila, bio sam vrlo ljut i nisam znao što bih rekao. Poslao sam joj poruku i idući dan je nazvao da provjerim je li dobro. Znam da će se mnoge žene pronaći u ovoj priči. Takvo ponašanje više se ne bi smjelo tolerirati - rekao je Murray za Bloomberg.

Judy je ispričala da je nakon incidenta otrčala u WC, a onda je jedva uspjela održati govor koji je bio dogovoren. Nakon govora je otišla do svojeg stola, uzela torbicu i otišla.

"Htjela sam povratiti, jako me potreslo to što se dogodilo", napisala je.

Andy Murray već godinama je jedan od najglasnijih tenisača kad je riječ o borbi za ravnopravnost spolova, pa se tako između ostalog zalagao i za jednake nagradne fondove na ATP i WTA Touru te na Grand Slamovima.

Otkriće da je njegova majka i bivša trenerica Judy (62) bila seksualno zlostavljana uznemirila je i razljutila nekoć prvog igrača svijeta Andyja Murrayja. Premda se incident dogodio prije osam godina na svečanoj večeri jedne obrazovne zaklade, Murray je za njega saznao tek nedavno, uoči objave Judyjinog teksta u Scottish Postu, prenose Sportske novosti.

Majka ga je tada obavijestila da će pisati o iskustvu zbog kojeg je, kaže, osjetila "mučninu u želucu". Zlostavljao ju je visokopozicionirani član zaklade, na način da je tijekom večere spustio ruku na njezino koljeno i bedra.
