Bol na Braču drugu će godinu zaredom, od 5. do 11. lipnja, biti domaćinom WTA turnira tenisačica serije 125k na kojem će jedan od najvećih događaja biti ekshibicijski meč Ive Majoli i Švicarke Martine Hingis 20 godina nakon što su se borile za naslov pobjednice Roland Garrosa, a trijumfirala je jedina hrvatska Grand Slam pobjednica u pojedinačnoj konkurenciji.  

- Odlučili smo obilježiti tu godišnjicu u Bolu i 11. lipnja, na dan finala, ćemo odigrati ekshibicijski meč. Nadam se ponovno mojoj pobjedi s obzirom na to da igram na domaćem terenu - poželjela je Iva Majoli koja je prošle godine u Bolu svladala španjolsku tenisku legendu Arantxu Sanchez Vicario i svojim angažmanom napravila mnogo u promociji bolskog turnira, što je posebno istaknuo direktor Bol Opena Feliks Lukas.

Termin turnira je, baš kao i lani, u drugom tjednu Roland Garrosa, pa još uvijek nije poznato koje bi igračice mogle zaigrati u Bolu, gdje je prošle godine trijufirala Luksemburžanka Mandy Minella pobijedivši u finalu Slovenku Polonu Hercog. Najbolji rezultat od hrvatskih tenisačica ostvarila je Ana Konjuh koju su u polufinalu zaustavili bolovi u leđima.

- Bilo je malo peha, leđa nisu dopustila da odem do kraja. Ako bih je osvojila, bila bi mi to jedna od najdražih titula. Nadam se da ću ove godine biti zdrava, ali i da ću biti u drugom tjednu Roland Garrosa - rekla je 36. tenisačica svijeta.

Popis igračica bit će poznat u svibnju. No, tko god bude sudjelovao, dat će svoj doprinos boljoj opremljenosti bolskih vatrogasaca. Naime, organizatori su, odlučili sav prihod od ulaznica preusmjeriti Dobrovoljnom vatrogasnom društvu Bol.

Bol na Braču drugu će godinu zaredom, od 5. do 11. lipnja, biti domaćinom WTA turnira tenisačica serije 125k na kojem će jedan od najvećih događaja biti ekshibicijski meč Ive Majoli i Švicarke Martine Hingis 20 godina nakon što su se borile za naslov pobjednice Roland Garrosa, a trijumfirala je jedina hrvatska Grand Slam pobjednica u pojedinačnoj konkurenciji.  

- Odlučili smo obilježiti tu godišnjicu u Bolu i 11. lipnja, na dan finala, ćemo odigrati ekshibicijski meč. Nadam se ponovno mojoj pobjedi s obzirom na to da igram na domaćem terenu - poželjela je Iva Majoli koja je prošle godine u Bolu svladala španjolsku tenisku legendu Arantxu Sanchez Vicario i svojim angažmanom napravila mnogo u promociji bolskog turnira, što je posebno istaknuo direktor Bol Opena Feliks Lukas.

Termin turnira je, baš kao i lani, u drugom tjednu Roland Garrosa, pa još uvijek nije poznato koje bi igračice mogle zaigrati u Bolu, gdje je prošle godine trijufirala Luksemburžanka Mandy Minella pobijedivši u finalu Slovenku Polonu Hercog. Najbolji rezultat od hrvatskih tenisačica ostvarila je Ana Konjuh koju su u polufinalu zaustavili bolovi u leđima.

- Bilo je malo peha, leđa nisu dopustila da odem do kraja. Ako bih je osvojila, bila bi mi to jedna od najdražih titula. Nadam se da ću ove godine biti zdrava, ali i da ću biti u drugom tjednu Roland Garrosa - rekla je 36. tenisačica svijeta.

Popis igračica bit će poznat u svibnju. No, tko god bude sudjelovao, dat će svoj doprinos boljoj opremljenosti bolskih vatrogasaca. Naime, organizatori su, odlučili sav prihod od ulaznica preusmjeriti Dobrovoljnom vatrogasnom društvu Bol.
