Stigla je i službena objava kluba: Mateo Kovačić novi je "građanin"! Hrvatski reprezentativac potpisao je ugovor s Manchester Cityjem do 2027. godine, a aktualni europski prvak Chelseaju će isplatiti 25 milijuna funti odštete, uz dodatnih pet milijuna bonusa.

- Ovo je sjajan potez za mene, jedva čekam početi! Svatko tko je gledao ovu momčad zna koliko je dobra, za mene najbolja na svijetu. Ovo je san svakog nogometaša. Imam još puno toga za učiti i razvijati se pod Pepovom upravom, mogu postati bolji igrač, što me posebno uzbuđuje. Plan je odmoriti se nekoliko tjedana, a onda se vraćam u Manchester na pripreme za novu sezonu - rekao je Kovačić za klupske mediji.

Direktor kluba Txiki Begiristain biranim je riječima govorio o našem reprezentativcu.

- Mateo je izvrstan nogometaš. Može igrati kao 6 ili 8, ima puno iskustva u klubovima najviše razine i razumije Premier ligu. Bila je vrlo jednostavna odluka dovesti ga u City jer ima taktičke i tehničke kvalitete koje tražimo od veznog igrača. On je netko koga smo pratili jako dugo i uvijek smo bili impresionirani. Oduševljen sam što je ovdje. Ovo je sjajno potpisivanje za City i jako sam uzbuđen vidjeti što može učiniti s Pepom i ostatkom našeg tima iz pozadine - kazao je.

S obzirom na to kako je već odradio pet sezona u Premier ligi, 29-godišnjem Vatrenom neće biti potrebna prilagodba na novu sredinu, a Pep Guardiola tako je ekspresno našao zamjenu za İlkayja Gündoğana koji je otišao prema Barceloni. Osim što je katalonski trener svoj "stroj" pojačao jednim Hrvatom, uskoro bi mogao potvrditi i dodatnu nadogradnju, s obzirom na to kako se sve glasnije šuška o pregovorima između RB Leipziga sa Cityjem po pitanju transfera Joška Gvardiola.

Kovačić će, kao i u Chelseaju, i u novom klubu nositi dres s brojem osam, koji nosi i u reprezentaciji. Bit će mu to peti klub u karijeri, nakon Dinama, Intera, Real Madrida i Chelseaja.

Stigla je i službena objava kluba: Mateo Kovačić novi je "građanin"! Hrvatski reprezentativac potpisao je ugovor s Manchester Cityjem do 2027. godine, a aktualni europski prvak Chelseaju će isplatiti 25 milijuna funti odštete, uz dodatnih pet milijuna bonusa.

- Ovo je sjajan potez za mene, jedva čekam početi! Svatko tko je gledao ovu momčad zna koliko je dobra, za mene najbolja na svijetu. Ovo je san svakog nogometaša. Imam još puno toga za učiti i razvijati se pod Pepovom upravom, mogu postati bolji igrač, što me posebno uzbuđuje. Plan je odmoriti se nekoliko tjedana, a onda se vraćam u Manchester na pripreme za novu sezonu - rekao je Kovačić za klupske mediji.

Direktor kluba Txiki Begiristain biranim je riječima govorio o našem reprezentativcu.

- Mateo je izvrstan nogometaš. Može igrati kao 6 ili 8, ima puno iskustva u klubovima najviše razine i razumije Premier ligu. Bila je vrlo jednostavna odluka dovesti ga u City jer ima taktičke i tehničke kvalitete koje tražimo od veznog igrača. On je netko koga smo pratili jako dugo i uvijek smo bili impresionirani. Oduševljen sam što je ovdje. Ovo je sjajno potpisivanje za City i jako sam uzbuđen vidjeti što može učiniti s Pepom i ostatkom našeg tima iz pozadine - kazao je.

S obzirom na to kako je već odradio pet sezona u Premier ligi, 29-godišnjem Vatrenom neće biti potrebna prilagodba na novu sredinu, a Pep Guardiola tako je ekspresno našao zamjenu za İlkayja Gündoğana koji je otišao prema Barceloni. Stigla je i službena objava kluba: Mateo Kovačić novi je "građanin"! Hrvatski reprezentativac potpisao je ugovor s Manchester Cityjem do 2027. godine, a aktualni europski prvak Chelseaju će isplatiti 25 milijuna funti odštete, uz dodatnih pet milijuna bonusa.

- Ovo je sjajan potez za mene, jedva čekam početi! Svatko tko je gledao ovu momčad zna koliko je dobra, za mene najbolja na svijetu. Ovo je san svakog nogometaša. Imam još puno toga za učiti i razvijati se pod Pepovom upravom, mogu postati bolji igrač, što me posebno uzbuđuje. Plan je odmoriti se nekoliko tjedana, a onda se vraćam u Manchester na pripreme za novu sezonu - rekao je Kovačić za klupske mediji.

Direktor kluba Txiki Begiristain biranim je riječima govorio o našem reprezentativcu.

- Mateo je izvrstan nogometaš. Može igrati kao 6 ili 8, ima puno iskustva u klubovima najviše razine i razumije Premier ligu. Bila je vrlo jednostavna odluka dovesti ga u City jer ima taktičke i tehničke kvalitete koje tražimo od veznog igrača. On je netko koga smo pratili jako dugo i uvijek smo bili impresionirani. Oduševljen sam što je ovdje. Ovo je sjajno potpisivanje za City i jako sam uzbuđen vidjeti što može učiniti s Pepom i ostatkom našeg tima iz pozadine - kazao je.

S obzirom na to kako je već odradio pet sezona u Premier ligi, 29-godišnjem Vatrenom neće biti potrebna prilagodba na novu sredinu, a Pep Guardiola tako je ekspresno našao zamjenu za İlkayja Gündoğana koji je otišao prema Barceloni.
