Nogometna reprezentacija Hrvatske napredovala je pet mjesta na novoj FIFA-inoj ljestvici i sada je sedma momčad svijeta.

Osvajanjem bronce na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Kataru izabranici Zlatka Dalića probili su se ponovno u top 10, s dosadašnje dvanaeste na sedmu poziciju. Hrvatska je u odnosu na prethodnu ljestvicu koja je objavljena prije početka SP-a preskočila aktualnog europskog prvaka Italiju (koja se nije ni plasirala na Mundijal), Portugal, Španjolsku, Dansku i Njemačku.

Najbolji plasman Hrvatske na ovoj ljestvici bila je treća pozicija 1999., poslije bronce osvojene na SP-u u Francuskoj godinu ranije. Nakon srebra na Mundijalu u Rusiji prije četiri i pol godine Hrvatska je bila četvrta na ljestvici. U ožujku ove godine Hrvatska je bila 16. reprezentacija FIFA-ine ljestvice, a prošle godine je bila i na 18. poziciji. Uz dobar rezultat na završnici Lige nacija u lipnju Hrvatska ima priliku probiti se u top 5.

Premda ga je Hrvatska eliminirala u četvrtfinalu SP-a, najbolja reprezentacija svijeta ostao je Brazil. Na drugoj poziciji je novi svjetski prvak Argentina, treća je Francuska, a četvrta Belgija. Ispred Hrvatske još su Engleska i Nizozemska. Najveće iznenađenje SP-a Maroko je napredovao 11. mjesta i sada je 11. reprezentacija svijeta.

Koliko FIFA vapi za remontom, toliko ga treba i njena ljestvica najboljih svjetskih reprezentacija. Prema nakaradnim kriterijima kojima se ravna FIFA-a poslije završetka Svjetskog prvenstva koje je osvojila Argentina najbolja momčadi svijeta je Brazil kojeg je još u četvrtfinalu eliminirala Hrvatska. Isti Brazil kojeg je u finalu lanjske Copa Americe svladala baš Argentina, i to usred legendarne Maracane. A čak je i ispred Francuske, aktualnog viceprvaka svijeta, donedavnog prvaka. No, po istim kriterijima je i četvrta Belgija koja je ispala u skupini, reprezentacija koja je četiri godine u nizu bila najbolja momčad ljestvice.

To je zbog toga što se ne priznaju osvojeni trofeji što je apsurdno, ali i vrlo komplicirane Elo metode za izračunavanje rejtinga, bodova. Uračunavaju se bodovi iz svih utakmica koje priznaje FIFA, ali manje vrijede prijateljske u odnosu na one na većim natjecanjima, pogotovo SP-u. U kompleksnu formulu za izračun se unose osvojeni bodovi, važnost susreta, kvaliteta protivnika, očekivani rezultat... Pritom ne vrijede jednako pobjede u 90/120 minuta ili na penale.

Naime, da su Argentina ili Francuska slavili u finalu SP-a prije raspucavanja s bijele točke, bili bi na vrhu ljestvice umjesto Brazila, odnosno tamo bi bili Messi i društvo da su u 1. kolu grupne faze svladali Saudijsku Arabiju, umjesto 1:2 poraza. Ovako je Brazil prvi jer je u kvalifikacijama za SP imao tri pobjede više od Argentine.

Nogometna reprezentacija Hrvatske napredovala je pet mjesta na novoj FIFA-inoj ljestvici i sada je sedma momčad svijeta.

Osvajanjem bronce na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Kataru izabranici Zlatka Dalića probili su se ponovno u top 10, s dosadašnje dvanaeste na sedmu poziciju. Hrvatska je u odnosu na prethodnu ljestvicu koja je objavljena prije početka SP-a preskočila aktualnog europskog prvaka Italiju (koja se nije ni plasirala na Mundijal), Portugal, Španjolsku, Dansku i Njemačku.

Najbolji plasman Hrvatske na ovoj ljestvici bila je treća pozicija 1999., poslije bronce osvojene na SP-u u Francuskoj godinu ranije. Nakon srebra na Mundijalu u Rusiji prije četiri i pol godine Hrvatska je bila četvrta na ljestvici. U ožujku ove godine Hrvatska je bila 16. reprezentacija FIFA-ine ljestvice, a prošle godine je bila i na 18. poziciji. Uz dobar rezultat na završnici Lige nacija u lipnju Hrvatska ima priliku probiti se u top 5.

Premda ga je Hrvatska eliminirala u četvrtfinalu SP-a, najbolja reprezentacija svijeta ostao je Brazil. Na drugoj poziciji je novi svjetski prvak Argentina, treća je Francuska, a četvrta Belgija. Ispred Hrvatske još su Engleska i Nizozemska. Najveće iznenađenje SP-a Maroko je napredovao 11. mjesta i sada je 11. reprezentacija svijeta.

Koliko FIFA vapi za remontom, toliko ga treba i njena ljestvica najboljih svjetskih reprezentacija. Prema nakaradnim kriterijima kojima se ravna FIFA-a poslije završetka Svjetskog prvenstva koje je osvojila Argentina najbolja momčadi svijeta je Brazil kojeg je još u četvrtfinalu eliminirala Hrvatska. Isti Brazil kojeg je u finalu lanjske Copa Americe svladala baš Argentina, i to usred legendarne Maracane. A čak je i ispred Francuske, aktualnog viceprvaka svijeta, donedavnog prvaka. No, po istim kriterijima je i četvrta Belgija koja je ispala u skupini, reprezentacija koja je četiri godine u nizu bila najbolja momčad ljestvice.

To je zbog toga što se ne priznaju osvojeni trofeji što je apsurdno, ali i vrlo komplicirane Elo metode za izračunavanje rejtinga, bodova. Uračunavaju se bodovi iz svih utakmica koje priznaje FIFA, ali manje vrijede prijateljske u odnosu na one na većim natjecanjima, pogotovo SP-u. U kompleksnu formulu za izračun se unose osvojeni bodovi, važnost susreta, kvaliteta protivnika, očekivani rezultat... Pritom ne vrijede jednako pobjede u 90/120 minuta ili na penale.

Naime, da su Argentina ili Francuska slavili u finalu SP-a prije raspucavanja s bijele točke, bili bi na vrhu ljestvice umjesto Brazila, odnosno tamo bi bili Messi i društvo da su u 1. kolu grupne faze svladali Saudijsku Arabiju, umjesto 1:2 poraza. Ovako je Brazil prvi jer je u kvalifikacijama za SP imao tri pobjede više od Argentine.

Nogometna reprezentacija Hrvatske napredovala je pet mjesta na novoj FIFA-inoj ljestvici i sada je sedma momčad svijeta.

Osvajanjem bronce na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Kataru izabranici Zlatka Dalića probili su se ponovno u top 10, s dosadašnje dvanaeste na sedmu poziciju. Hrvatska je u odnosu na prethodnu ljestvicu koja je objavljena prije početka SP-a preskočila aktualnog europskog prvaka Italiju (koja se nije ni plasirala na Mundijal), Portugal, Španjolsku, Dansku i Njemačku.

Najbolji plasman Hrvatske na ovoj ljestvici bila je treća pozicija 1999., poslije bronce osvojene na SP-u u Francuskoj godinu ranije. Nakon srebra na Mundijalu u Rusiji prije četiri i pol godine Hrvatska je bila četvrta na ljestvici. U ožujku ove godine Hrvatska je bila 16. reprezentacija FIFA-ine...
