Sporazum o novoj strukturi nogometne Lige prvaka blizu je završetka i trebao bi biti potpisan u sljedeća dva tjedna, kazao je Andrea Agnelli, predsjednik Juventusa i predsjednik Europskog udruženja klubova (ECA).

Prema novom sustavu natjecanja, poznatom kao "švicarski model", umjesto dosadašnja 32 sudjelovat će 36 momčadi koje bi i skupnoj fazi natjecanja odigrale deset utakmica umjesto dosadašnjih šest.

Došlo bi do preinake grupne faze natjecanja, a prema novom planu igrala bi se jedna liga sa 36 klubova. Klubovi bi uoči natjecanja bili podijeljeni u četiri jakosne skupine. Svaki klub igrao bi 10 utakmica s 10 različitih klubova, a suparnike bi dobivao iz različitih jakosnih skupina. Klubovi bi pet utakmica igrali na svom terenu, a pet u gostima.

Prvih osam klubova bi nakon deset kola izborilo plasman u osminu finala. Klubovi plasirani od 9. do 24. mjesta igrali bi play-off za osminu finala, a posljednjih 12 klubova bi završilo natjecanje.

Iako je bilo kritika na neke elemente plana od strane Europskih liga, Agnelli vjeruje da je posao gotovo zaključen.

"Svi su prepoznali blagodati novog sustava natjecanja", rekao je Agnelli na današnjem sastanku ECA-e.

"Nadam se kako će sve biti učinjeno u idućih nekoliko tjedana, postoje još neki detalji koje treba riješiti," dodao je.

Još nije poznato po kojem će sustavu nove momčadi izboriti mjesto u Ligi prvaka. Rasprava o tome još uvijek traje, a odluka o obnovi Lige prvaka 2024. vjerojatno će biti donesena na ovogodišnjem sastanku Izvršnog odbora Uefe koji će se održati 20. travnja.

Sporazum o novoj strukturi nogometne Lige prvaka blizu je završetka i trebao bi biti potpisan u sljedeća dva tjedna, kazao je Andrea Agnelli, predsjednik Juventusa i predsjednik Europskog udruženja klubova (ECA).

Prema novom sustavu natjecanja, poznatom kao "švicarski model", umjesto dosadašnja 32 sudjelovat će 36 momčadi koje bi i skupnoj fazi natjecanja odigrale deset utakmica umjesto dosadašnjih šest.

Došlo bi do preinake grupne faze natjecanja, a prema novom planu igrala bi se jedna liga sa 36 klubova. Klubovi bi uoči natjecanja bili podijeljeni u četiri jakosne skupine. Svaki klub igrao bi 10 utakmica s 10 različitih klubova, a suparnike bi dobivao iz različitih jakosnih skupina. Klubovi bi pet utakmica igrali na svom terenu, a pet u gostima.

Prvih osam klubova bi nakon deset kola izborilo plasman u osminu finala. Klubovi plasirani od 9. do 24. mjesta igrali bi play-off za osminu finala, a posljednjih 12 klubova bi završilo natjecanje.

Iako je bilo kritika na neke elemente plana od strane Europskih liga, Agnelli vjeruje da je posao gotovo zaključen.

"Svi su prepoznali blagodati novog sustava natjecanja", rekao je Agnelli na današnjem sastanku ECA-e.

"Nadam se kako će sve biti učinjeno u idućih nekoliko tjedana, postoje još neki detalji koje treba riješiti," dodao je.

Još nije poznato po kojem će sustavu nove momčadi izboriti mjesto u Ligi prvaka. Rasprava o tome još uvijek traje, a odluka o obnovi Lige prvaka 2024. vjerojatno će biti donesena na ovogodišnjem sastanku Izvršnog odbora Uefe koji će se održati 20. travnja.

Sporazum o novoj strukturi nogometne Lige prvaka blizu je završetka i trebao bi biti potpisan u sljedeća dva tjedna, kazao je Andrea Agnelli, predsjednik Juventusa i predsjednik Europskog udruženja klubova (ECA).

Prema novom sustavu natjecanja, poznatom kao "švicarski model", umjesto dosadašnja 32 sudjelovat će 36 momčadi koje bi i skupnoj fazi natjecanja odigrale deset utakmica umjesto dosadašnjih šest.

Došlo bi do preinake grupne faze natjecanja, a prema novom planu igrala bi se jedna liga sa 36 klubova. Klubovi bi uoči natjecanja bili podijeljeni u četiri jakosne skupine. Svaki klub igrao bi 10 utakmica s 10 različitih klubova, a suparnike bi dobivao iz različitih jakosnih skupina. Klubovi bi pet utakmica igrali na svom terenu, a pet u gostima.
