Hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija danas će u posljednjoj utakmici drugog kruga igrati protiv Nizozemske s početkom u 18 sati (RTL).

Nakon što smo protiv Islanda upisali prve bodove, ostao nam je dvoboj s momčadi koja slovi za jedno od najvećih iznenađenja.

Sjajno su Nizozemci igrali u skupini. Prvo su na otvaranju turnira senzacionalno pobijedili domaćina Mađarsku s 31:28 naznačivši tako da se na njih mora ozbiljno računati. Slijedio je tijesan poraz od Islanda (28:29), da bi u posljednjem kolu, također s jedan razlike, pobijedili Portugal (32:31).

Prolazak dalje značio je da ih čekaju još teže utakmice ili, bolje je reći, najteže moguće. Prvo su se namjerili na Francuze koji su ih lako „riješili” s 10 razlike (24:34). Znali su da priliku za pobjedu mogu tražiti u susretu s Crnom Gorom. I dočekali su je. Nizozemska je slavila s 34:30. Teži protivnik od Francuske, jedino je Danska, a od njih su uvjerljivo izgubili u zadnjem kolu.

Ostalo im je tek za prestiž odmjeriti snage s „kaubojima”. Nesreća za njih je što u tom susretu neće moći računati na svog najboljeg igrača Kaya Smitsa. Desni vanjski je alfa i omega ove ekipe, a na Euru igra u fantastičnoj formi. Naime, prvi je strijelac čitavog turnira s 45 pogodaka u pet utakmica što daje nevjerojatan prosjek od devet po utakmici. Najviše je zabio Islandu, čak 13.

Olakotna je to okolnost za našu obranu jer se neće naći na iskušenju prvog topnika. Kao i mnogima do sada, presudio mu je koronavirus. Nizozemci su se pred kraj natjecanja našli u velikom problemu. Uz prijašnjih sedam pozitivnih, na zadnjem testiranju otpala su još trojica, a među njima i neprikosnoveni Smits.

Krasi ih brza igra, „guranje u leđa”. Momčad je to koja trči 60 minuta. Kao i većina takvih reprezentacija, teško im je igrati na postavljenu obranu. Nisu im strani ni ishitreni šutevi. Kako odgovoriti? Na njihovu trku, nema drugog lijeka nego uzvratiti istom mjerom s naglaskom na brzi povratak u obranu. S ovoliko mladih možemo parirati u tom segmentu, dok je kvaliteta, čast Nizozemcima, uvjerljivo na našoj strani.

Hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija danas će u posljednjoj utakmici drugog kruga igrati protiv Nizozemske s početkom u 18 sati (RTL).

Nakon što smo protiv Islanda upisali prve bodove, ostao nam je dvoboj s momčadi koja slovi za jedno od najvećih iznenađenja.

Sjajno su Nizozemci igrali u skupini. Prvo su na otvaranju turnira senzacionalno pobijedili domaćina Mađarsku s 31:28 naznačivši tako da se na njih mora ozbiljno računati. Slijedio je tijesan poraz od Islanda (28:29), da bi u posljednjem kolu, također s jedan razlike, pobijedili Portugal (32:31).

Prolazak dalje značio je da ih čekaju još teže utakmice ili, bolje je reći, najteže moguće. Prvo su se namjerili na Francuze koji su ih lako „riješili” s 10 razlike (24:34). Znali su da priliku za pobjedu mogu tražiti u susretu s Crnom Gorom. I dočekali su je. Nizozemska je slavila s 34:30. Teži protivnik od Francuske, jedino je Danska, a od njih su uvjerljivo izgubili u zadnjem kolu.

Ostalo im je tek za prestiž odmjeriti snage s „kaubojima”. Nesreća za njih je što u tom susretu neće moći računati na svog najboljeg igrača Kaya Smitsa. Desni vanjski je alfa i omega ove ekipe, a na Euru igra u fantastičnoj formi. Naime, prvi je strijelac čitavog turnira s 45 pogodaka u pet utakmica što daje nevjerojatan prosjek od devet po utakmici. Najviše je zabio Islandu, čak 13.

Olakotna je to okolnost za našu obranu jer se neće naći na iskušenju prvog topnika. Kao i mnogima do sada, presudio mu je koronavirus. Nizozemci su se pred kraj natjecanja našli u velikom problemu. Uz prijašnjih sedam pozitivnih, na zadnjem testiranju otpala su još trojica, a među njima i neprikosnoveni Smits.

Krasi ih brza igra, „guranje u leđa”. Momčad je to koja trči 60 minuta. Kao i većina takvih reprezentacija, teško im je igrati na postavljenu obranu. Nisu im strani ni ishitreni šutevi. Kako odgovoriti? Na njihovu trku, nema drugog lijeka nego uzvratiti istom mjerom s naglaskom na brzi povratak u obranu. S ovoliko mladih možemo parirati u tom segmentu, dok je kvaliteta, čast Nizozemcima, uvjerljivo na našoj strani.

Za kraj Hrvatska igra protiv najugodnijeg iznenađenja turnira, Nizozemci zbog korone ne mogu računati na najboljeg igrača i prvog strijelca turnira

Hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija danas će u posljednjoj utakmici drugog kruga igrati protiv Nizozemske s početkom u 18 sati (RTL).

Nakon što smo protiv Islanda upisali prve bodove, ostao nam je dvoboj s momčadi koja slovi za jedno od najvećih iznenađenja.

Sjajno su Nizozemci igrali u skupini. Prvo su na otvaranju turnira senzacionalno pobijedili domaćina Mađarsku s 31:28 naznačivši tako da se na njih mora ozbiljno računati. Slijedio je tijesan poraz od Islanda (28:29), da bi u posljednjem kolu, također s jedan razlike, pobijedili Portugal (32:31).

Prolazak dalje značio je da ih čekaju još teže utakmice ili, bolje je reći, najteže moguće. Prvo su se namjerili na Francuze koji su ih lako „riješili” s 10 razlike (24:34). Znali su da priliku za pobjedu mogu tražiti u...
