Vodstvo Njemačke rukometne lige (HBL) odlučilo je u utorak prekinuti ovosezonsko natjecanje i proglasiti rukometaše Kiela novim prvacima.

Momčad u kojoj kapetansku vrpcu nosi kapetan hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije Domagoj Duvnjak tako je prekinula petogodišnji post i osvojila svoj 21. naslov njemačkog prvaka.

Natjecanje je prekinuto u ožujku, kad je većina klubova imala sedam, a nekolicina još osam utakmica za odigrati pa je prvak određen prema prosjeku osvojenih bodova. Kiel je imao prosjek od 1,69 bodova po utakmici, a drugoplasirani Flensburg 1,56.

Klubovi su se složili da ne bude nastavka natjecanja, a odlučeno je da ove sezone neće biti ispadanja iz Prve i Druge Bundeslige. Očekuje se da će zbog prekida natjecanja HBL izgubiti oko 25 milijuna eura.

Klubovi su se nadali nastavku sredinom svibnja, ali zbog zabrane masovnih okupljanja do 31. kolovoza ta je mogućnost propala. Naime, za razliku od nogometnih klubova koji većinu svojih prihoda imaju od prodaje televizijskih prava, kod rukometaša su najveći izvor prihoda prodane ulaznice i sponzorstva.

Rukomet je treći od najpopularnijih dvoranskih sportova, koji je odlučio prekinuti sezonu. Prethodno su to učinili odbojkaši i hokejaši na ledu, ali oni nisu proglasili prvaka. Očekuje se da će uskoro konačnu odluku donijeti i vodstvo Njemačke košarkaške lige.

Vodstvo Njemačke rukometne lige (HBL) odlučilo je u utorak prekinuti ovosezonsko natjecanje i proglasiti rukometaše Kiela novim prvacima.

Momčad u kojoj kapetansku vrpcu nosi kapetan hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije Domagoj Duvnjak tako je prekinula petogodišnji post i osvojila svoj 21. naslov njemačkog prvaka.

Natjecanje je prekinuto u ožujku, kad je većina klubova imala sedam, a nekolicina još osam utakmica za odigrati pa je prvak određen prema prosjeku osvojenih bodova. Kiel je imao prosjek od 1,69 bodova po utakmici, a drugoplasirani Flensburg 1,56.

Klubovi su se složili da ne bude nastavka natjecanja, a odlučeno je da ove sezone neće biti ispadanja iz Prve i Druge Bundeslige. Očekuje se da će zbog prekida natjecanja HBL izgubiti oko 25 milijuna eura.

Klubovi su se nadali nastavku sredinom svibnja, ali zbog zabrane masovnih okupljanja do 31. kolovoza ta je mogućnost propala. Naime, za razliku od nogometnih klubova koji većinu svojih prihoda imaju od prodaje televizijskih prava, kod rukometaša su najveći izvor prihoda prodane ulaznice i sponzorstva.

Rukomet je treći od najpopularnijih dvoranskih sportova, koji je odlučio prekinuti sezonu. Prethodno su to učinili odbojkaši i hokejaši na ledu, ali oni nisu proglasili prvaka. Očekuje se da će uskoro konačnu odluku donijeti i vodstvo Njemačke košarkaške lige.
