Čelni čovjek Svjetskog reli prvenstva (WRC) Oliver Ciesla posjetio je Zagreb te službeno ponudio Hrvatskoj kandidacijsku utrku WRC-a u 2020.

Hrvatska nikad nije bila bliže dobivanju utrke drugog najgledanijeg oktanskog sporta na svijetu. Potvrdio je to i čelni čovjek WRC-a Oliver Ciesla koji je u Zagrebu održao niz sastanaka s predsjednikom i glavnim tajnikom Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza, gradom Zagrebom te potencijalnim organizatorima. Kao potencijalni termin kandidacijske utrke predložen je listopad, a Zagreb je dobio priliku ugostiti svjetsku reli kremu već ove godine. Gradonačelnik Bandić izrazio je punu podršku projektu te izrazio želju da Zagreb osvane na karti sporta koji prati preko 80 milijuna fanova.

"Planiramo doći na kandidacijski reli te ukoliko sve prođe dobro do kraja godine Hrvatskoj su sva vrata otvorena da u budućnosti postane dio Svjetskog prvenstva u reliju", izjavio je Oliver Ciesla, direktor WRC-a.

"Nakon sedam godina razgovora o WRC-u u Hrvatskoj imamo službenu ponudu da napravimo finalnu provjeru nakon koje se otvaraju vrata WRC-a. O značaju ovog događaja za Hrvatsku govori i podrška Vlade RH, Grada Zagreba i ostalih institucija. Nadam se da će stručni timovi u sljedećih desetak dana zaključiti sve bitno za ostvarenje kandidacijske utrke krajem godine. Zahvaljujem gradonačelniku, našem organizacijskom timu te naravno WRC promotoru na konkretnoj ponudi. Puno je dogovora pred nama, ali na dobrom smo putu", izjavio je Davorin Štetner, predsjednik Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza.

"Grad Zagreb podržava ovu manifestaciju jer će pridonijeti jačanju prepoznatljivosti Zagreba kao poželjne turističke destinacije, ali i privlačne destinacije za poslovna ulaganja i kvalitetan život. Održavanje WRC utrke ujedno će pridonijeti i gospodarskom razvoju grada te ćemo stoga zajedno s organizatorom provoditi aktivnosti u cilju realizacije ovog projekta, izjavila je Mirka Jozić, pročelnica Gradskog ureda za gospodarstvo, energetiku i zaštitu okoliša.

Svjetsko prvenstvo u reliju krenulo je 1973., a trenutni prvaci su estonska posada Tanak/Jarveoja.

Čelni čovjek Svjetskog reli prvenstva (WRC) Oliver Ciesla posjetio je Zagreb te službeno ponudio Hrvatskoj kandidacijsku utrku WRC-a u 2020.

Hrvatska nikad nije bila bliže dobivanju utrke drugog najgledanijeg oktanskog sporta na svijetu. Potvrdio je to i čelni čovjek WRC-a Oliver Ciesla koji je u Zagrebu održao niz sastanaka s predsjednikom i glavnim tajnikom Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza, gradom Zagrebom te potencijalnim organizatorima. Kao potencijalni termin kandidacijske utrke predložen je listopad, a Zagreb je dobio priliku ugostiti svjetsku reli kremu već ove godine. Gradonačelnik Bandić izrazio je punu podršku projektu te izrazio želju da Zagreb osvane na karti sporta koji prati preko 80 milijuna fanova.

"Planiramo doći na kandidacijski reli te ukoliko sve prođe dobro do kraja godine Hrvatskoj su sva vrata otvorena da u budućnosti postane dio Svjetskog prvenstva u reliju", izjavio je Oliver Ciesla, direktor WRC-a.

"Nakon sedam godina razgovora o WRC-u u Hrvatskoj imamo službenu ponudu da napravimo finalnu provjeru nakon koje se otvaraju vrata WRC-a. O značaju ovog događaja za Hrvatsku govori i podrška Vlade RH, Grada Zagreba i ostalih institucija. Nadam se da će stručni timovi u sljedećih desetak dana zaključiti sve bitno za ostvarenje kandidacijske utrke krajem godine. Zahvaljujem gradonačelniku, našem organizacijskom timu te naravno WRC promotoru na konkretnoj ponudi. Puno je dogovora pred nama, ali na dobrom smo putu", izjavio je Davorin Štetner, predsjednik Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza.

"Grad Zagreb podržava ovu manifestaciju jer će pridonijeti jačanju prepoznatljivosti Zagreba kao poželjne turističke destinacije, ali i privlačne destinacije za poslovna ulaganja i kvalitetan život. Održavanje WRC utrke ujedno će pridonijeti i gospodarskom razvoju grada te ćemo stoga zajedno s organizatorom provoditi aktivnosti u cilju realizacije ovog projekta, izjavila je Mirka Jozić, pročelnica Gradskog ureda za gospodarstvo, energetiku i zaštitu okoliša.

Svjetsko prvenstvo u reliju krenulo je 1973., a trenutni prvaci su estonska posada Tanak/Jarveoja.
