Felipe Massa je odlučio tužiti Formulu 1 kako bi ipak dobio naslov svjetskog prvaka za 2008. godinu, a sve nakon što je nedavno Bernie Ecclestone iznio nove činjenice vezane uz čuveni ‘Crashgate‘, skandal koji se te godine dogodio na Velikoj nagradi Singapura - pišu Sportske novosti.

Podsjetimo, tijekom te utrke vozač Renaulta Nelson Piquet Jr. je izletio sa staze i zabio se u zid, a kasnije je otkriveno kako je to napravio namjerno kako bi pomogao momčadskom kolegi Fernandu Alonsu da ostvari što bolji plasman. Španjolac je utrku završio na prvom mjestu, ali mu je kasnije taj rezultat poništen zbog istrage pa je pobjedu odnio Lewis Hamilton dok je Massa, koji je bio vodeći prije izlijetanja Piquea, zbog kasnijih problema završio na 13. mjestu. Na kraju je ta utrka bila presudna jer je Hamilton odnio naslov prvaka s 98 bodova, jednim više od Masse koji je tada vozio Ferrari.

Renault je kažnjen zbog cijele priče, čelni ljudi momčadi Flavio Briatore i Pat Symonds su napustili momčad, ali i cijelu Formulu 1, a Piquet je svjedočio kako mu je naređeno da napravi sudar. S time je izgledalo kao da je sve završilo sve dok nedavno Ecclestone nije ponovo otvorio tu temu.

- Nismo željeli ništa poduzimati, željeli smo zaštititi Formulu 1 od velikog skandala. Tada je postojalo pravilo da je svjetsko prvenstvo zaključeno nakon što se dodjele nagrade i da naknadno nema mijenjanja poretka. Mi smo imali dovoljno informacija da odmah pokrenemo istragu, ali smo odlučili da nećemo ništa raditi. Da jesmo po našem statutu bi morali poništiti tu utrku, a onda bi svjetski prvak bio Massa, a ne Hamilton - rekao je nedavno Ecclestone.

Nelson Piquet Jr je po naredbi momčadi Renaulta izletio sa staze na VN Singapura 2008.

Brazilski vozač je nakon tih riječi odlučio da će tužiti Formulu 1.

- Odvjetnici Ferrarija su mi tada rekli da ne možemo ništa promijeniti nakon što je pehar dodijeljen i ja sam povjerovao u to. No, nakon ovih Ecclestoneovih izjava je jasno kako je utrka trebala biti poništena. Trebao sam biti svjetski prvak i sada namjeravam pokrenuti tužbu da se sve razjasni. Doduše, prošlo je puno vremena pa je pitanje je li se uopće sada može nešto promijeniti - rekao je Massa.

Felipe Massa je odlučio tužiti Formulu 1 kako bi ipak dobio naslov svjetskog prvaka za 2008. godinu, a sve nakon što je nedavno Bernie Ecclestone iznio nove činjenice vezane uz čuveni ‘Crashgate‘, skandal koji se te godine dogodio na Velikoj nagradi Singapura - pišu Sportske novosti.

Podsjetimo, tijekom te utrke vozač Renaulta Nelson Piquet Jr. je izletio sa staze i zabio se u zid, a kasnije je otkriveno kako je to napravio namjerno kako bi pomogao momčadskom kolegi Fernandu Alonsu da ostvari što bolji plasman. Španjolac je utrku završio na prvom mjestu, ali mu je kasnije taj rezultat poništen zbog istrage pa je pobjedu odnio Lewis Hamilton dok je Massa, koji je bio vodeći prije izlijetanja Piquea, zbog kasnijih problema završio na 13. mjestu. Na kraju je ta utrka bila presudna jer je Hamilton odnio naslov prvaka s 98 bodova, jednim više od Masse koji je tada vozio Ferrari.

Renault je kažnjen zbog cijele priče, čelni ljudi momčadi Flavio Briatore i Pat Symonds su napustili momčad, ali i cijelu Formulu 1, a Piquet je svjedočio kako mu je naređeno da napravi sudar. S time je izgledalo kao da je sve završilo sve dok nedavno Ecclestone nije ponovo otvorio tu temu.

- Nismo željeli ništa poduzimati, željeli smo zaštititi Formulu 1 od velikog skandala. Tada je postojalo pravilo da je svjetsko prvenstvo zaključeno nakon što se dodjele nagrade i da naknadno nema mijenjanja poretka. Mi smo imali dovoljno informacija da odmah pokrenemo istragu, ali smo odlučili da nećemo ništa raditi. Da jesmo po našem statutu bi morali poništiti tu utrku, a onda bi svjetski prvak bio Massa, a ne Hamilton - rekao je nedavno Ecclestone.

Nelson Piquet Jr je po naredbi momčadi Renaulta izletio sa staze na VN Singapura 2008.

Brazilski vozač je nakon tih riječi odlučio da će tužiti Formulu 1.

- Odvjetnici Ferrarija su mi tada rekli da ne možemo ništa promijeniti nakon što je pehar dodijeljen i ja sam povjerovao u to. No, nakon ovih Ecclestoneovih izjava je jasno kako je utrka trebala biti poništena. Trebao sam biti svjetski prvak i sada namjeravam pokrenuti tužbu da se sve razjasni. Doduše, prošlo je puno vremena pa je pitanje je li se uopće sada može nešto promijeniti - rekao je Massa.

Felipe Massa je odlučio tužiti Formulu 1 kako bi ipak dobio naslov svjetskog prvaka za 2008. godinu, a sve nakon što je nedavno Bernie Ecclestone iznio nove činjenice vezane uz čuveni ‘Crashgate‘, skandal koji se te godine dogodio na Velikoj nagradi Singapura - pišu Sportske novosti.

Podsjetimo, tijekom te utrke vozač Renaulta Nelson Piquet Jr. je izletio sa staze i zabio se u zid, a kasnije je otkriveno kako je to napravio namjerno kako bi pomogao momčadskom kolegi Fernandu Alonsu da ostvari što bolji plasman.
