Život profesionalnog sportaša nije nimalo lagan i dosta je situacija u kojima ni velike zvijezde nisu pošteđene iznenadnih situacija na koje ne mogu utjecati. NBA košarkaš Garrett Temple saznao je na brutalan način da je otpušten i to preko društvenih mreža.

Garrett Temple igrao je 14 godina u NBA ligi i prošle sezone je igrao za ekipu New Orleans Pelicansa. Imao je nezajamčen ugovor za narednu sezonu, ali se nadao da će franšiza ga odlučiti zadržati. Ipak, vodstvo Pelicansa je odlučilo na brutalan način 37-godišnjaku pokazati izlazna vrata i to nekoliko sati pred 7. srpanj kada bi njegov ugovor od 5.4 milijuna dolara postao jamstvo za novu sezonu.

Nesretni Temple je za otkaz saznao preko društvenih mreža. Probudio se i imaošto za vidjeti. Michael Scotto mu na Twitteru donio loše vijesti.

Temple je potom o odluci obaviješten i od kluba, ali sigurno da mu nije bilo svejedno odluku saznati od novinara umjesto od poslodavca koji ga je plaćao prethodne dvije godine. Ipak, svijet NBA lige je surov. Temple je samo još jedan u nizu košarkaša koji je postao višak i teško je vjerovati da će 37-godišnjak dobiti novu šansu u najjačoj ligi svijeta.

U NBA je stigao 2010. godine kada je potpisao za Houston Rocketse, a potom je konstantno mijenjao klubove i igrao je u istoj godini za Kingse i Spurse. Naredne godine je igrao za Buckse i Bobcatse, većinom je igrao Razvojnu ligu, a jednu sezonu je proveo u Italiji u ekipi Casalea.

A onda 2012. godine konačno dobio zajamčeni ugovor s Washington Wizardsima, pa je potom promijenio još nekoliko momčadi. Bio je ponovo u Kingsima, Grizzliesima, Clippersima, Netsima i Bullsima, a u Pelicansima je od 2021. godine.

Život profesionalnog sportaša nije nimalo lagan i dosta je situacija u kojima ni velike zvijezde nisu pošteđene iznenadnih situacija na koje ne mogu utjecati. NBA košarkaš Garrett Temple saznao je na brutalan način da je otpušten i to preko društvenih mreža.

Garrett Temple igrao je 14 godina u NBA ligi i prošle sezone je igrao za ekipu New Orleans Pelicansa. Imao je nezajamčen ugovor za narednu sezonu, ali se nadao da će franšiza ga odlučiti zadržati. Ipak, vodstvo Pelicansa je odlučilo na brutalan način 37-godišnjaku pokazati izlazna vrata i to nekoliko sati pred 7. srpanj kada bi njegov ugovor od 5.4 milijuna dolara postao jamstvo za novu sezonu.

Nesretni Temple je za otkaz saznao preko društvenih mreža. Probudio se i imaošto za vidjeti. Michael Scotto mu na Twitteru donio loše vijesti.

Temple je potom o odluci obaviješten i od kluba, ali sigurno da mu nije bilo svejedno odluku saznati od novinara umjesto od poslodavca koji ga je plaćao prethodne dvije godine. Ipak, svijet NBA lige je surov. Temple je samo još jedan u nizu košarkaša koji je postao višak i teško je vjerovati da će 37-godišnjak dobiti novu šansu u najjačoj ligi svijeta.

U NBA je stigao 2010. godine kada je potpisao za Houston Rocketse, a potom je konstantno mijenjao klubove i igrao je u istoj godini za Kingse i Spurse. Naredne godine je igrao za Buckse i Bobcatse, većinom je igrao Razvojnu ligu, a jednu sezonu je proveo u Italiji u ekipi Casalea.

A onda 2012. godine konačno dobio zajamčeni ugovor s Washington Wizardsima, pa je potom promijenio još nekoliko momčadi. Bio je ponovo u Kingsima, Grizzliesima, Clippersima, Netsima i Bullsima, a u Pelicansima je od 2021. godine.

Brutalan svijet profesionalizma: probudio se i vidio na društvenim mrežama da je dobio otkaz

Život profesionalnog sportaša nije nimalo lagan i dosta je situacija u kojima ni velike zvijezde nisu pošteđene iznenadnih situacija na koje ne mogu utjecati. NBA košarkaš Garrett Temple saznao je na brutalan način da je otpušten i to preko društvenih mreža.

Garrett Temple igrao je 14 godina u NBA ligi i prošle sezone je igrao za ekipu New Orleans Pelicansa. Imao je nezajamčen ugovor za narednu sezonu, ali se nadao da će franšiza ga odlučiti zadržati. Ipak, vodstvo Pelicansa je odlučilo na brutalan način 37-godišnjaku pokazati izlazna vrata i to nekoliko sati pred 7. srpanj kada bi njegov ugovor od 5.4 milijuna dolara postao jamstvo za novu sezonu.

Nesretni Temple je za otkaz saznao preko društvenih mreža. Probudio se i imaošto za vidjeti. Michael Scotto mu na Twitteru donio loše vijesti.

- New Orleans Pelicansi otpuštaju Garetta Templea - napisao je Scotto.

Temple je potom o odluci obaviješten i od kluba, ali sigurno da mu nije bilo svejedno odluku saznati od novinara umjesto od poslodavca koji ga je plaćao prethodne dvije godine. Ipak, svijet NBA lige je surov. Temple je samo još jedan u nizu košarkaša koji je postao višak i teško je vjerovati da će 37-godišnjak dobiti novu šansu u najjačoj ligi svijeta.

U NBA je stigao 2010. godine kada je potpisao za Houston Rocketse, a potom je konstantno mijenjao klubove i igrao je u istoj godini za Kingse i Spurse. Naredne godine je igrao za Buckse i Bobcatse, većinom je igrao Razvojnu ligu, a jednu sezonu je proveo u Italiji u ekipi Casalea.

A onda 2012. godine konačno dobio zajamčeni ugovor s Washington Wizardsima, pa je potom promijenio još nekoliko momčadi. Bio je ponovo u Kingsima, Grizzliesima, Clippersima, Netsima i Bullsima, a u Pelicansima je od 2021. godine.
