Danas je rođendan Aljoše Asanovića i gušt nam je to obilježiti. Svaki čas nam je Asanović na portalu, nekidan je gostovao kod Nebojše Petrovića u Beogradu u serijalu uradaka našeg kolege pod nazivom Mojih Top 11, kad nekadašnji asovi biraju naj-momčad od svojih suigrača kroz karijeru, a prekjučer je bio u Napulju, u loži gledajući Napoli - Braga (2:0) u Ligi prvaka (bio je član Napolija u proljeće 1998.), a sve u sklopu svojih putovanja i razgovora, kontakata što ih njeguje u svojstvu dužnosnika UEFA. I sve smo to popratili.

Asanović, dakle, slavi 58. rođendan, rođen je 14. prosinca 1965. godine i kako kaže Wikipedia "rođeni Splićanin prvi je nastup za splitske Bijele imao 1984. na Trofeju Marjan, popularnom klupskom turniru koji se svake godine održavao bilo na Poljudu ili još ranije na Starom placu. Povijest ga je zauvijek zapisala i kao prvog strijelca za Hrvatsku, u pobjedi protiv SAD-a 2:1 tog 17. listopada 1990. godine u Maksimiru. Asanović je zabio prvi gol, u 29. minuti je bacio publiku na tribinama u trans, a pamtimo kako je bio toliko domoljubno svjestan i odgovoran, željan nastupa, da je na sastanak s poviješću, na prvu utakmicu samostalne Hrvatske, u Zagreb doletio privatnim zrakoplovom iz Metza u kojem je tada nastupao. Samo da ga avionske redovne linije ne zakoče...

Svjetska bronca 1998. s "vatrenima", te dupla kruna s Hajdukom i plasman u četvrtfinale Lige prvaka u sezoni 1994/95 nezaboravni su dosezi nogometaša poznatog pod nadimkom "Vatreni lakat", uz napomenu da je knjigu životopisa slavnog nam sugrađanina pod tim nazivom napisao kolega novinar Andrija Kačić Karlin. U trenutku kad je Aljoši 58 ljeta na leđima lijepo se i toga prisjetiti.

U Splitu, za boravka u rodnom gradu Asanovića se u pravilu može sresti u omiljenom kafiću nedaleko Starog placa gdje svraća na kavicu razgovora, katkad i s Lukšom Jakobušićem, predsjednikom Hajduka. Međutim, sad je sve više okupiran poslom u Nyonu gdje su mu predsjednik UEFA Aleksander Čeferin i desna mu ruka Zvonimir Boban povjerili u ruke važan resor brige nad razvojem nogometa i rada s mladima... Zbog toga je Asanović stalno na putovanju, tako je poslom svratio u "Kuću fudbala" u Staru Pazovu, ali i pod Vezuv, gdje je nekoć igrao. To je ono posljednje što ga pratimo u njegovim učestalim putovanjima.

Danas je rođendan Aljoše Asanovića i gušt nam je to obilježiti. Svaki čas nam je Asanović na portalu, nekidan je gostovao kod Nebojše Petrovića u Beogradu u serijalu uradaka našeg kolege pod nazivom Mojih Top 11, kad nekadašnji asovi biraju naj-momčad od svojih suigrača kroz karijeru, a prekjučer je bio u Napulju, u loži gledajući Napoli - Braga (2:0) u Ligi prvaka (bio je član Napolija u proljeće 1998.), a sve u sklopu svojih putovanja i razgovora, kontakata što ih njeguje u svojstvu dužnosnika UEFA. I sve smo to popratili.

Asanović, dakle, slavi 58. rođendan, rođen je 14. prosinca 1965. godine i kako kaže Wikipedia "rođeni Splićanin prvi je nastup za splitske Bijele imao 1984. na Trofeju Marjan, popularnom klupskom turniru koji se svake godine održavao bilo na Poljudu ili još ranije na Starom placu. Povijest ga je zauvijek zapisala i kao prvog strijelca za Hrvatsku, u pobjedi protiv SAD-a 2:1 tog 17. listopada 1990. godine u Maksimiru. Asanović je zabio prvi gol, u 29. minuti je bacio publiku na tribinama u trans, a pamtimo kako je bio toliko domoljubno svjestan i odgovoran, željan nastupa, da je na sastanak s poviješću, na prvu utakmicu samostalne Hrvatske, u Zagreb doletio privatnim zrakoplovom iz Metza u kojem je tada nastupao. Samo da ga avionske redovne linije ne zakoče...

Svjetska bronca 1998. s "vatrenima", te dupla kruna s Hajdukom i plasman u četvrtfinale Lige prvaka u sezoni 1994/95 nezaboravni su dosezi nogometaša poznatog pod nadimkom "Vatreni lakat", uz napomenu da je knjigu životopisa slavnog nam sugrađanina pod tim nazivom napisao kolega novinar Andrija Kačić Karlin. U trenutku kad je Aljoši 58 ljeta na leđima lijepo se i toga prisjetiti.

U Splitu, za boravka u rodnom gradu Asanovića se u pravilu može sresti u omiljenom kafiću nedaleko Starog placa gdje svraća na kavicu razgovora, katkad i s Lukšom Jakobušićem, predsjednikom Hajduka. Međutim, sad je sve više okupiran poslom u Nyonu gdje su mu predsjednik UEFA Aleksander Čeferin i desna mu ruka Zvonimir Boban povjerili u ruke važan resor brige nad razvojem nogometa i rada s mladima... Zbog toga je Asanović stalno na putovanju, tako je poslom svratio u "Kuću fudbala" u Staru Pazovu, ali i pod Vezuv, gdje je nekoć igrao. To je ono posljednje što ga pratimo u njegovim učestalim putovanjima.

Danas je rođendan Aljoše Asanovića i gušt nam je to obilježiti. Svaki čas nam je Asanović na portalu, nekidan je gostovao kod Nebojše Petrovića u Beogradu u serijalu uradaka našeg kolege pod nazivom Mojih Top 11, kad nekadašnji asovi biraju naj-momčad od svojih suigrača kroz karijeru, a prekjučer je bio u Napulju, u loži gledajući Napoli - Braga (2:0) u Ligi prvaka (bio je član Napolija u proljeće 1998.), a sve u sklopu svojih putovanja i razgovora, kontakata što ih njeguje u svojstvu dužnosnika UEFA. I sve smo to popratili.

Asanović, dakle, slavi 58. rođendan, rođen je 14. prosinca 1965. godine i kako kaže Wikipedia "rođeni Splićanin prvi je nastup za splitske Bijele imao 1984. na Trofeju Marjan, popularnom klupskom turniru koji se svake godine održavao bilo na Poljudu ili još ranije na Starom placu. Povijest ga je zauvijek zapisala i kao prvog strijelca za Hrvatsku, u pobjedi protiv SAD-a 2:1 tog 17. listopada 1990. godine u Maksimiru.
