Osam mjeseci nakon što je napustio Novo Vrijeme Apfel, Teo Strunje vratio se u staro jato. Makarski je klub na iznenađenje mnogih raskinuo suradnju s Tomislavom Horvatom i vratio Strunju koji je nedavno smijenjen u Splitu.

– I ja sam malo iznenađen, iskreno. Sve se odvilo u sat vremena. Ne znam prave razloge uprave Novog Vremena budući da su prvi na tablici, ali ja sam zadovoljan kako je sve ispalo – rekao nam je Strunje koji je po završetku prošle sezone neočekivano napustio Makarsku nakon dva uzastopna osvojena naslova prvaka Hrvatske.

Iz privatnih je razloga prihvatio ponudu Splita, no poslije 11 ligaških utakmica bez pobjede prije desetak dana dobio je otkaz. Nije dugo čekao na novi angažman, štoviše vrlo je lako mogao završiti u Dubrovniku.

Dogovor u pet minuta

– Pregovarao sam sa Squareom i bio spreman preseliti život u Dubrovnik, a onda je došao poziv predsjednika Novog Vremena Mije Pašalića. Našli smo se i dogovorili u pet minuta. Nije tajna koliko mi je bilo dobro u Makarskoj. Neke smo stvari razriješili, na obostrano zadovoljstvo – dodao je Strunje koji će tako postati treći trener na klupi Makarana ove sezone, nakon Ivice Osibova i Horvata.

Osibov je smijenjen još ljetos, prije prve natjecateljske utakmice, a iako je slovenski stručnjak odradio sjajnu europsku epizodu osvojivši četiri boda u Elitnoj rundi Lige prvaka i na tablici domaćeg prvenstva držao vodeće mjesto, dojam je da od početka to nije bilo to.

Tako sada ispada. Uprava nije bila posve zadovoljna stilom igre i predstavama u posljednje vrijeme, a nakupilo se i ponešto kikseva poput ispadanja iz Kupa u Omišu i dva poraza u ligi. Kad je Strunje ostao bez posla na Gripama, Makarani su praktički u jednom danu prelomili i odlučili vratiti trenera s kojim su dotaknuli zvijezde. Strunje je zahvalio upravi na novoj prilici i osvrnuo se na polusezonu sa Splitom kojeg čeka borba za ostanak.

Sad osvojiti titulu...

– Ne bježim od neuspjeha i htio sam ostati do kraja sezone u Splitu. Ako treba i ispasti iz lige. Međutim, uprava mi je dala otkaz. Nisam inzistirao na odlasku i to moram naglasiti kako ne bi ispalo da sam unaprijed nešto dogovorio s Novim Vremenom.

Ciljevi s Novim Vremenom su jasni – ponovno postati prvak Hrvatske i ući u Ligu prvaka.

– To je normalno. Probat ću podići momčad još više pa da budemo pravi u doigravanju. Sve ćemo napraviti da tako bude – poručio je Strunje.

Novo Vrijeme dakle nastavlja – po starom. Vraća se provjerenoj kombinaciji.

Osam mjeseci nakon što je napustio Novo Vrijeme Apfel, Teo Strunje vratio se u staro jato. Makarski je klub na iznenađenje mnogih raskinuo suradnju s Tomislavom Horvatom i vratio Strunju koji je nedavno smijenjen u Splitu.

– I ja sam malo iznenađen, iskreno. Sve se odvilo u sat vremena. Ne znam prave razloge uprave Novog Vremena budući da su prvi na tablici, ali ja sam zadovoljan kako je sve ispalo – rekao nam je Strunje koji je po završetku prošle sezone neočekivano napustio Makarsku nakon dva uzastopna osvojena naslova prvaka Hrvatske.

Iz privatnih je razloga prihvatio ponudu Splita, no poslije 11 ligaških utakmica bez pobjede prije desetak dana dobio je otkaz. Nije dugo čekao na novi angažman, štoviše vrlo je lako mogao završiti u Dubrovniku.

Dogovor u pet minuta

– Pregovarao sam sa Squareom i bio spreman preseliti život u Dubrovnik, a onda je došao poziv predsjednika Novog Vremena Mije Pašalića. Našli smo se i dogovorili u pet minuta. Nije tajna koliko mi je bilo dobro u Makarskoj. Neke smo stvari razriješili, na obostrano zadovoljstvo – dodao je Strunje koji će tako postati treći trener na klupi Makarana ove sezone, nakon Ivice Osibova i Horvata.

Osibov je smijenjen još ljetos, prije prve natjecateljske utakmice, a iako je slovenski stručnjak odradio sjajnu europsku epizodu osvojivši četiri boda u Elitnoj rundi Lige prvaka i na tablici domaćeg prvenstva držao vodeće mjesto, dojam je da od početka to nije bilo to.

Tako sada ispada. Uprava nije bila posve zadovoljna stilom igre i predstavama u posljednje vrijeme, a nakupilo se i ponešto kikseva poput ispadanja iz Kupa u Omišu i dva poraza u ligi. Kad je Strunje ostao bez posla na Gripama, Makarani su praktički u jednom danu prelomili i odlučili vratiti trenera s kojim su dotaknuli zvijezde. Strunje je zahvalio upravi na novoj prilici i osvrnuo se na polusezonu sa Splitom kojeg čeka borba za ostanak.

Sad osvojiti titulu...

– Ne bježim od neuspjeha i htio sam ostati do kraja sezone u Splitu. Ako treba i ispasti iz lige. Međutim, uprava mi je dala otkaz. Nisam inzistirao na odlasku i to moram naglasiti kako ne bi ispalo da sam unaprijed nešto dogovorio s Novim Vremenom.

Ciljevi s Novim Vremenom su jasni – ponovno postati prvak Hrvatske i ući u Ligu prvaka.

– To je normalno. Probat ću podići momčad još više pa da budemo pravi u doigravanju. Sve ćemo napraviti da tako bude – poručio je Strunje.

Novo Vrijeme dakle nastavlja – po starom. Vraća se provjerenoj kombinaciji.

Osam mjeseci nakon što je napustio Novo Vrijeme Apfel, Teo Strunje vratio se u staro jato. Makarski je klub na iznenađenje mnogih raskinuo suradnju s Tomislavom Horvatom i vratio Strunju koji je nedavno smijenjen u Splitu.

– I ja sam malo iznenađen, iskreno. Sve se odvilo u sat vremena. Ne znam prave razloge uprave Novog Vremena budući da su prvi na tablici, ali ja sam zadovoljan kako je sve ispalo – rekao nam je Strunje koji je po završetku prošle sezone neočekivano napustio Makarsku nakon dva uzastopna osvojena naslova prvaka Hrvatske.

Iz privatnih je razloga prihvatio ponudu Splita, no poslije 11 ligaških utakmica bez pobjede prije desetak dana dobio je otkaz. Nije dugo čekao na novi angažman, štoviše vrlo je lako mogao završiti u Dubrovniku.
