Iznajmljivanje u velikom gradu u apartmane dovodi uglavnom domaće goste koji se vraćaju i po desetak puta. Neki dolaze poslom, a neki su privatno vezani za Split. Stranci se izuzetno rijetko vraćaju: oni su došli, vidjeli i otišli – drugi put će tako posjetiti neki drugi grad, vjerojatno u tamo nekoj drugoj državi.
Stari gosti su uvijek i najbolji gosti, pa makar se neki od njih se drugima činili komplicirani - meni su dragi. Već unaprijed znaš što te čeka: tako, primjerice, znam da će gošća iz Zagreba uvijek barem dva puta promijeniti sat dolaska, gost iz Livna pita jel slobodan smještaj kada je udaljen 15 minuta od apartmana, gost iz Mostara, koliko god tvrdi da je sam u apartmanu, znam da nije sam pa uvijek ostavljam stvari kao da ih je dvoje, gošća iz mjesta pored Zagreba upotrebljava puno ručnika pa ih je bolje ostaviti u zalihama u ormaru kako ih ne bi ona opet krenula prati pa onda da izbjegnemo da bijeli ručnici postanu plavi...
Višani će doći točno kada su rekli jer čim siđu s katamarana hvataju taxi, a kako su oni točni smatraju da se i druga strana treba striktno pridržavati dogovora. Gostu iz Slavonije treba na balkonu ostaviti pepeljaru iako je nepušački apartman jer inače na kraju čikovi budu u vazi ili šalici, gošća iz Zadra obavezno nešto zezne s klimom pa treba doći nanovo namjestiti daljinski, a Istrijanki je i u kolovozu hladno te je na krevetu obavezan poplun.
U devet godina iznajmljivanja postoji već i popriličan broj telefona onih za koje je apartman uvijek zauzet i, eto, baš mi je žao, ali prije pet minuta sam primila rezervaciju za taj termin. Jer, na primjer, kako opet slušati susjedu koja kaže da su se gosti pola noći svađali na balkonu ili se dovesti u situaciju da goste u 18 sati kumiš i moliš da iziđu iz apartmana, a oni ne žele, iako su u 10 sati trebali izići.
Ili, muko moja, pola dana čistiti kuhinju jer je djevojka zamislila romantičnu večeru pa mu je kuhala predjelo, jelo i desert i to u onih 12 sati boravka u apartmanu, a njemu se očito nije svidjelo jer je skoro sva hrana ostala na stolu (ajde, barem su lokalni psi bili sretni...). I onda meni ostane čišćenje ulja po zidovima (i po lusteru!) jer je zaboravila izvaditi poklopac iz ormara i upotrijebiti ga.
Sredina je godine skoro. Odrađeno je već nekih 25 tura, uglavnom kratkih, sada je vrijeme i za one duže – svim iznajmljivačima najdraže.

Iznajmljivanje u velikom gradu u apartmane dovodi uglavnom domaće goste koji se vraćaju i po desetak puta. Neki dolaze poslom, a neki su privatno vezani za Split. Stranci se izuzetno rijetko vraćaju: oni su došli, vidjeli i otišli – drugi put će tako posjetiti neki drugi grad, vjerojatno u tamo nekoj drugoj državi.
Stari gosti su uvijek i najbolji gosti, pa makar se neki od njih se drugima činili komplicirani - meni su dragi. Već unaprijed znaš što te čeka: tako, primjerice, znam da će gošća iz Zagreba uvijek barem dva puta promijeniti sat dolaska, gost iz Livna pita jel slobodan smještaj kada je udaljen 15 minuta od apartmana, gost iz Mostara, koliko god tvrdi da je sam u apartmanu, znam da nije sam pa uvijek ostavljam stvari kao da ih je dvoje, gošća iz mjesta pored Zagreba upotrebljava puno ručnika pa ih je bolje ostaviti u zalihama u ormaru kako ih ne bi ona opet krenula prati pa onda da izbjegnemo da bijeli ručnici postanu plavi...
Višani će doći točno kada su rekli jer čim siđu s katamarana hvataju taxi, a kako su oni točni smatraju da se i druga strana treba striktno pridržavati dogovora. Gostu iz Slavonije treba na balkonu ostaviti pepeljaru iako je nepušački apartman jer inače na kraju čikovi budu u vazi ili šalici, gošća iz Zadra obavezno nešto zezne s klimom pa treba doći nanovo namjestiti daljinski, a Istrijanki je i u kolovozu hladno te je na krevetu obavezan poplun.
U devet godina iznajmljivanja postoji već i popriličan broj telefona onih za koje je apartman uvijek zauzet i, eto, baš mi je žao, ali prije pet minuta sam primila rezervaciju za taj termin. Jer, na primjer, kako opet slušati susjedu koja kaže da su se gosti pola noći svađali na balkonu ili se dovesti u situaciju da goste u 18 sati kumiš i moliš da iziđu iz apartmana, a oni ne žele, iako su u 10 sati trebali izići.
Ili, muko moja, pola dana čistiti kuhinju jer je djevojka zamislila romantičnu večeru pa mu je kuhala predjelo, jelo i desert i to u onih 12 sati boravka u apartmanu, a njemu se očito nije svidjelo jer je skoro sva hrana ostala na stolu (ajde, barem su lokalni psi bili sretni...). I onda meni ostane čišćenje ulja po zidovima (i po lusteru!) jer je zaboravila izvaditi poklopac iz ormara i upotrijebiti ga.
Sredina je godine skoro. Odrađeno je već nekih 25 tura, uglavnom kratkih, sada je vrijeme i za one duže – svim iznajmljivačima najdraže.
