Kupači s Ovčica više neće biti ovce. Kupači Ovčica imat će tuš! Ne jedan, tri tuša! Nakon duga, agonična tri ljeta otkad su pukle cijevi na jedinom tušu na ovom kupalištu, nakon stotina članaka i prosvjeda kupača, milijuna prepiski po društvenim mrežama, na Punti od Ovčica konačno će opet poteći voda kroz jedan od najstarijih gradskih tuševa, za koji je kroz ovo vrijeme valjda doznala cijela država.
Županija splitsko-dalmatinska je nakon isteka koncesije tvrtke "Frzelin", prepustila Gradu Splitu upravljanje Ovčicama u statusu pomorskog dobro u općoj uporabi.
Na plaži je i dogradonačelnik Bojan Ivošević.
- Obećao sam da će doći tuš kad Grad Split preuzme upravljanje Ovčicama. Sada je pod upravljanjem Grada cijeli potez od Željezničara do Zente, Trstenik – bez dijela ispred Radissona, onda Žnjan, Kaštelet - Obojena, Stobreč, Slatine i uskoro Kašjuni. Rekonkvista pomorskog dobra – zadovoljan je Ivošević.

Dok plažu ruje golemi stroj vrijedan divljenja, kojem ni građevinci ne znaju točno ime (grtalica, krtica?), pa ga zovu ‘dić-vić‘ jer na njemu piše Ditch-Witch, ali znaju da košta 320 tisuća eura i da je nemoguće dobiti termin – već sutra ide za Liku – pridružuje nam se i Marijan Ciprijan, direktor gradske tvrtke "Splitska obala".

- Spojit ćemo Ovčice na vodovodnu mrežu ispred kupališne zgrade na Bačvicama, što je oko tristo metara kopanja do Ovčica. Odmah ćemo započeti brigu o Ovčicama, postavit ćemo tri tuša; jedan na ulazu u kupalište sa zapada, jedan na muliću po sredini, a treći, onaj o kojem se najviše pisalo, bit će na starom mjestu na Punti od Ovčica.
Korištenje tuševa će biti besplatno. Investicija je oko 90 tisuća kuna. Naša će briga od sada bit i čistoća plaže, rasvjeta, postavljanje kanti za smeće, zelenilo, klupe, uklanjanje grafita... Nadamo se i raspisivanju natječaja za ležaljke, a u budućnosti i rekonstrukciji obalnog dijela. A o tom-potom, sada je najbitnije ispuniti želje građana za onim osnovnim – tuševima, čistoćom, komunalnom opremom koja nedostaje – kaže direktor Ciprijan.

Ljetnim mukama kupača s Ovčica primiče se kraj, gotovo je sa žednim špinama, neće više potezati boce i trpjeti da ih kolege kupači s više komunalne sreće optužuju da smrduckaju. Toliko su sretni da bi se odmah kupali, u jaketama, neka je zima, kad je mukte. Makar cijevi došle i okolo, s Bačvica. Kupači s Ovčica više neće biti ovce. Kupači Ovčica imat će tuš! Ne jedan, tri tuša! Nakon duga, agonična tri ljeta otkad su pukle cijevi na jedinom tušu na ovom kupalištu, nakon stotina članaka i prosvjeda kupača, milijuna prepiski po društvenim mrežama, na Punti od Ovčica konačno će opet poteći voda kroz jedan od najstarijih gradskih tuševa, za koji je kroz ovo vrijeme valjda doznala cijela država.
Županija splitsko-dalmatinska je nakon isteka koncesije tvrtke "Frzelin", prepustila Gradu Splitu upravljanje Ovčicama u statusu pomorskog dobro u općoj uporabi.
Na plaži je i dogradonačelnik Bojan Ivošević.
- Obećao sam da će doći tuš kad Grad Split preuzme upravljanje Ovčicama. Sada je pod upravljanjem Grada cijeli potez od Željezničara do Zente, Trstenik – bez dijela ispred Radissona, onda Žnjan, Kaštelet - Obojena, Stobreč, Slatine i uskoro Kašjuni. Rekonkvista pomorskog dobra – zadovoljan je Ivošević.

Dok plažu ruje golemi stroj vrijedan divljenja, kojem ni građevinci ne znaju točno ime (grtalica, krtica?), pa ga zovu ‘dić-vić‘ jer na njemu piše Ditch-Witch, ali znaju da košta 320 tisuća eura i da je nemoguće dobiti termin – već sutra ide za Liku – pridružuje nam se i Marijan Ciprijan, direktor gradske tvrtke "Splitska obala".

- Spojit ćemo Ovčice na vodovodnu mrežu ispred kupališne zgrade na Bačvicama, što je oko tristo metara kopanja do Ovčica. Odmah ćemo započeti brigu o Ovčicama, postavit ćemo tri tuša; jedan na ulazu u kupalište sa zapada, jedan na muliću po sredini, a treći, onaj o kojem se najviše pisalo, bit će na starom mjestu na Punti od Ovčica.
Korištenje tuševa će biti besplatno. Investicija je oko 90 tisuća kuna. Naša će briga od sada bit i čistoća plaže, rasvjeta, postavljanje kanti za smeće, zelenilo, klupe, uklanjanje grafita... Nadamo se i raspisivanju natječaja za ležaljke, a u budućnosti i rekonstrukciji obalnog dijela. A o tom-potom, sada je najbitnije ispuniti želje građana za onim osnovnim – tuševima, čistoćom, komunalnom opremom koja nedostaje – kaže direktor Ciprijan.

Ljetnim mukama kupača s Ovčica primiče se kraj, gotovo je sa žednim špinama, neće više potezati boce i trpjeti da ih kolege kupači s više komunalne sreće optužuju da smrduckaju. Toliko su sretni da bi se odmah kupali, u jaketama, neka je zima, kad je mukte. Makar cijevi došle i okolo, s Bačvica. Iz vodovodne šahte u Šumici bio bi problem, nisu riješeni imovinsko-pravni odnosi. Tko više pita...
