Molim Boga da zvonik ne padne i ubije koga ispod na ulici - očajan je don Ivan Sučić, župnik Sv. Križa u splitskom Varošu, dok objašnjava zbog čega je zvonik ove crkve već godinama okovan dvjema građevinskim skelama. Prije osam godina došlo je, naime, do oštećenja akroterija s vrha zvonika koji je nosio gromobran i križ jer su korodirane željezne spone razdvojile kamenu građu do to mjere da se izgubila nosivost.

Župa je svojim novcem tada uspjela privremeno sanirati štetu, no poremećena statika čitave građevine zahtijeva mnogo složeniji posao sanacije, a uske varoške ulice otežavaju pristup uobičajenoj mehanizaciji za takve poslove, poput velike dizalice.

Barokna opasnost

Zbog velike opasnosti za prolaznike i okolne kuće u Križevoj ulici kao i izuzetne vrijednosti baroknog zvonika, ovu sanaciju od konca 2005. godine financijski podupire Ministarstvo kulture a Služba za staru gradsku jezgru Grada Splita od zagrebačke je tvrtke “Lokošek” prošle godine naručila i dobila projekt tehničke dokumentacije. Crkva je u sadašnjem obliku podignuta 1854. godine, a u nju je uklopljen barokni zvonik s kupolom koji je pripadao prethodnoj crkvi. Uz stručno nadgledanje Konzervatorskog odjela Uprave za zaštitu kulturne baštine sanacija je započela prošle godine, a Grad Split do sada je iz proračuna izdvojio oko 400 tisuća kuna za ovaj zahvat.

Pretpostavlja se kako bi ukupna potrebna svota iznosila oko 1 milijun kuna, a neslužbeno doznajemo kako se ostatak novca očekuje iz samog Ministarstva kulture. Na nedavnoj sjednici Gradskog poglavarstva resorni član Branko Poljanić ponovio je, međutim, alarmantnost sadašnjeg stanja jer zvoniku prijeti opasnost od potpunog urušavanja. Koncem siječnja ove godine jedna je naša sugrađanka lakše ozlijeđena kada je jaki vjetar odnio dio građevinske skele koja je pala u dvor ispred crkve.

Molim Boga da zvonik ne padne i ubije koga ispod na ulici - očajan je don Ivan Sučić, župnik Sv. Križa u splitskom Varošu, dok objašnjava zbog čega je zvonik ove crkve već godinama okovan dvjema građevinskim skelama. Prije osam godina došlo je, naime, do oštećenja akroterija s vrha zvonika koji je nosio gromobran i križ jer su korodirane željezne spone razdvojile kamenu građu do to mjere da se izgubila nosivost.

Župa je svojim novcem tada uspjela privremeno sanirati štetu, no poremećena statika čitave građevine zahtijeva mnogo složeniji posao sanacije, a uske varoške ulice otežavaju pristup uobičajenoj mehanizaciji za takve poslove, poput velike dizalice.

Barokna opasnost

Zbog velike opasnosti za prolaznike i okolne kuće u Križevoj ulici kao i izuzetne vrijednosti baroknog zvonika, ovu sanaciju od konca 2005. godine financijski podupire Ministarstvo kulture a Služba za staru gradsku jezgru Grada Splita od zagrebačke je tvrtke “Lokošek” prošle godine naručila i dobila projekt tehničke dokumentacije. Crkva je u sadašnjem obliku podignuta 1854. godine, a u nju je uklopljen barokni zvonik s kupolom koji je pripadao prethodnoj crkvi. Uz stručno nadgledanje Konzervatorskog odjela Uprave za zaštitu kulturne baštine sanacija je započela prošle godine, a Grad Split do sada je iz proračuna izdvojio oko 400 tisuća kuna za ovaj zahvat.

Pretpostavlja se kako bi ukupna potrebna svota iznosila oko 1 milijun kuna, a neslužbeno doznajemo kako se ostatak novca očekuje iz samog Ministarstva kulture. Na nedavnoj sjednici Gradskog poglavarstva resorni član Branko Poljanić ponovio je, međutim, alarmantnost sadašnjeg stanja jer zvoniku prijeti opasnost od potpunog urušavanja. Koncem siječnja ove godine jedna je naša sugrađanka lakše ozlijeđena kada je jaki vjetar odnio dio građevinske skele koja je pala u dvor ispred crkve.
