Zbog apela udruge Prijatelji životinja da se zaštite životinje i okoliš od novogodišnje pirotehnike, više od 20 hrvatskih gradova je donijelo odluku da ove godine neće ispaljivati vatromet za proslavu ulaska u 2023. Uprava grada Splita se, eto, nije odlučila na takav potez.

- Ove godine planirali smo vatromet i imat ćemo ga. Ostale ćemo molbe razmotriti te ćemo vidjeti što ćemo narednih godina - izvijestio je gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak.

Komentar na ovu temu je, putem svog Facebook profila, dala Ivana Marković, gradonačelnica Supetra, napisavši:

"Traje borba gradova tko se prije sjetio da neće ispaljivati vatromet za Novu godinu. Dugogodišnja tradicija nas Bračana nalaže da za vatromet za Novu gledamo onaj u Splitu. I sad kad kazu da su Bračani škrti. Nisu. Snalažljivi. Vizionari."

Dogradonačelnik Bojan Ivošević je istaknuo kako prije dvije godine službenog vatrometa nije bilo te kako su se zbog toga mnogi Splićani žalili.

- Kada nema centralnog vatrometa na Rivi, svaki kvart postaje lokacija na kojoj netko privatnim novcem investira u vatromet. Tako nastane još veća buka i stres za životinje, odnosno puno je više pirotehnike. Dakle, imali smo primjer da ga nema na Rivi, a posljedica je bila još više vatrometa u Splitu - obrazložio je Ivošević.

Kako bismo provjerili je li zadovoljna s ovom odlukom, nazvali smo gradonačelnicu Marković te je upitali je li njenim sumještanima draže kada je vatromet koncentriran poviše Rive ili kada pršti od Meja do Mejaša.

- Nije naše da se miješamo, ali je svakako oku ljepše kada šarenilo prska na sve strane. Znate, mi odavde vidimo proslave od Trogira do Omiša.

Ne znamo di prije gledat, bude stvarno lipo. Ipak, mi smo se ovdje, još unazad par godina, odlučili novac preusmjerit u neke stvari koje smatramo donekle važnijima, poput, recimo, studentskih stipendija - govori prva žena Supetra.

Kaže, i u njihovom mistu se, u najluđoj noći u godini, organiziraju privatne proslave i nebeska lansiranja svakojakih prskalica - i to je normalno.

Ali, takva proslava nikad ne dostigne decibelnu i fotonsku agresiju kao u mnogim drugim gradovima. Baš zato, njihovi ljubimci s njima mogu i u novogodišnju šetnju na kojoj čak zastanu promatrati paljbu preko puta. Jer, što je daleko od očiju (i ušiju), daleko je i od srca, koje ni pri skoku u iduću godinu - ne preskače.

Zbog apela udruge Prijatelji životinja da se zaštite životinje i okoliš od novogodišnje pirotehnike, više od 20 hrvatskih gradova je donijelo odluku da ove godine neće ispaljivati vatromet za proslavu ulaska u 2023. Uprava grada Splita se, eto, nije odlučila na takav potez.

- Ove godine planirali smo vatromet i imat ćemo ga. Ostale ćemo molbe razmotriti te ćemo vidjeti što ćemo narednih godina - izvijestio je gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak.

Komentar na ovu temu je, putem svog Facebook profila, dala Ivana Marković, gradonačelnica Supetra, napisavši:

"Traje borba gradova tko se prije sjetio da neće ispaljivati vatromet za Novu godinu. Dugogodišnja tradicija nas Bračana nalaže da za vatromet za Novu gledamo onaj u Splitu. I sad kad kazu da su Bračani škrti. Nisu. Snalažljivi. Vizionari."

Dogradonačelnik Bojan Ivošević je istaknuo kako prije dvije godine službenog vatrometa nije bilo te kako su se zbog toga mnogi Splićani žalili.

- Kada nema centralnog vatrometa na Rivi, svaki kvart postaje lokacija na kojoj netko privatnim novcem investira u vatromet. Tako nastane još veća buka i stres za životinje, odnosno puno je više pirotehnike. Dakle, imali smo primjer da ga nema na Rivi, a posljedica je bila još više vatrometa u Splitu - obrazložio je Ivošević.

Kako bismo provjerili je li zadovoljna s ovom odlukom, nazvali smo gradonačelnicu Marković te je upitali je li njenim sumještanima draže kada je vatromet koncentriran poviše Rive ili kada pršti od Meja do Mejaša.

- Nije naše da se miješamo, ali je svakako oku ljepše kada šarenilo prska na sve strane. Znate, mi odavde vidimo proslave od Trogira do Omiša.

Ne znamo di prije gledat, bude stvarno lipo. Ipak, mi smo se ovdje, još unazad par godina, odlučili novac preusmjerit u neke stvari koje smatramo donekle važnijima, poput, recimo, studentskih stipendija - govori prva žena Supetra.

Kaže, i u njihovom mistu se, u najluđoj noći u godini, organiziraju privatne proslave i nebeska lansiranja svakojakih prskalica - i to je normalno.

Ali, takva proslava nikad ne dostigne decibelnu i fotonsku agresiju kao u mnogim drugim gradovima. Baš zato, njihovi ljubimci s njima mogu i u novogodišnju šetnju na kojoj čak zastanu promatrati paljbu preko puta. Jer, što je daleko od očiju (i ušiju), daleko je i od srca, koje ni pri skoku u iduću godinu - ne preskače.
