Na ovim lokalnim izborima glasalo je najmanje birača do sada. Za Gradsko vijeće na biralištu je glasalo 46.303 Splićanina, odnosno 31,59 posto birača. A za gradonačelnika je dalo glas 46.271 birač, što je 31,57 posto ukupnog biračkog tijela u Splitu.

Zanimljivo je da ovo nije najmanja izlaznost kad gledamo dosadašnje izbore za Gradsko vijeće po postocima. Naime, na izbore 2005. izišlo je 30,67 posto, dakle, jedan posto manje birača, pa je to ipak rekordna neizlaznost. Međutim, te godine je glasalo 49.794 birača. Dakle, prije 17 godina biračkim mjestima je pristupilo oko 3,5 tisuća birača više nego prošle nedjelje. A to što se statistički računa da je 2005. bila manja izlaznost birača u postocima samo govori koliko je u međuvremenu opao broj građana Splita. Naime, prema podacima Državnog izbornog povjerenstva, u Splitu je 2005. bilo 162.363 građanina s pravom glasa. A ove godine ih prema DIP-u ima 146.578. Dakle, u 17 godina broj građana s biračkim pravom se smanjio za 15.785.

Zahvaljujući demografskoj "bijeloj kugi", ovo nisu u postotku gledano izbori s najlošijom izlaznošću, premda na njih nije izišlo nikad manje građana. Nažalost, ova tema gubitka stanovništva nije imala istaknuto mjesto u izbornoj kampanji koja je završila, premda su demografi isticali problem da će bez suvisle demografske politike Split do 2040. godine biti polupusti starački grad.

Rekordna izlaznost na splitske izbore bila je 1997. kada je prema arhivi DIP-a glasalo čak 110.948 birača. Drugo mjesto drže izbori održani četiri godine ranije 1993. kada je izišlo 96.271 birač.

Visoka izlaznost više od 70 tisuća Splićana traje do 2013., nakon čega počinje opadati, ali pada i broj ukupnog biračkog tijela. Tako je 2009. godine oko 160 tisuća upisanih birača, da bi ih na izborima 2017. bilo oko 151 tisuću. Na prvim višestranačkim izborima bila je najveća izlaznost 1993. (60,95%), 1997. (71,30%) te 2001. (51,02%). Očito su građani prvih desetak godina višestranačja imali veće povjerenje u politiku i zainteresiranost za demokratske promjene.

Gledano u postocima od 2005. do danas prosjek izlaznosti kreće se iznad 41 posto biračkog tijela, a maksimalna izlaznost je bila 47,74 posto (2013.), što znači da se zadnje desetljeće i pol smanjilo povjerenje građana u politiku. Istodobno se neumoljivo nastavlja trend iseljavanja. Nakon godina stagnacije, korupcije, promašaja i lažnih obećanja, krajnje je vrijeme za temeljite promjene u politici upravljanja gradom, inače će se trendovi apatije i emigracije nastaviti sve dok jednog dana političarima ne odzvoni, jer više neće biti građana da iziđu na birališta.

Na ovim lokalnim izborima glasalo je najmanje birača do sada. Za Gradsko vijeće na biralištu je glasalo 46.303 Splićanina, odnosno 31,59 posto birača. A za gradonačelnika je dalo glas 46.271 birač, što je 31,57 posto ukupnog biračkog tijela u Splitu.

Zanimljivo je da ovo nije najmanja izlaznost kad gledamo dosadašnje izbore za Gradsko vijeće po postocima. Naime, na izbore 2005. izišlo je 30,67 posto, dakle, jedan posto manje birača, pa je to ipak rekordna neizlaznost. Međutim, te godine je glasalo 49.794 birača. Dakle, prije 17 godina biračkim mjestima je pristupilo oko 3,5 tisuća birača više nego prošle nedjelje. A to što se statistički računa da je 2005. bila manja izlaznost birača u postocima samo govori koliko je u međuvremenu opao broj građana Splita. Naime, prema podacima Državnog izbornog povjerenstva, u Splitu je 2005. bilo 162.363 građanina s pravom glasa. A ove godine ih prema DIP-u ima 146.578. Dakle, u 17 godina broj građana s biračkim pravom se smanjio za 15.785.

Zahvaljujući demografskoj "bijeloj kugi", ovo nisu u postotku gledano izbori s najlošijom izlaznošću, premda na njih nije izišlo nikad manje građana. Nažalost, ova tema gubitka stanovništva nije imala istaknuto mjesto u izbornoj kampanji koja je završila, premda su demografi isticali problem da će bez suvisle demografske politike Split do 2040. godine biti polupusti starački grad.

Rekordna izlaznost na splitske izbore bila je 1997. kada je prema arhivi DIP-a glasalo čak 110.948 birača. Drugo mjesto drže izbori održani četiri godine ranije 1993. kada je izišlo 96.271 birač.

Visoka izlaznost više od 70 tisuća Splićana traje do 2013., nakon čega počinje opadati, ali pada i broj ukupnog biračkog tijela. Tako je 2009. godine oko 160 tisuća upisanih birača, da bi ih na izborima 2017. bilo oko 151 tisuću. Na prvim višestranačkim izborima bila je najveća izlaznost 1993. (60,95%), 1997. (71,30%) te 2001. (51,02%). Očito su građani prvih desetak godina višestranačja imali veće povjerenje u politiku i zainteresiranost za demokratske promjene.

Gledano u postocima od 2005. do danas prosjek izlaznosti kreće se iznad 41 posto biračkog tijela, a maksimalna izlaznost je bila 47,74 posto (2013.), što znači da se zadnje desetljeće i pol smanjilo povjerenje građana u politiku. Istodobno se neumoljivo nastavlja trend iseljavanja. Nakon godina stagnacije, korupcije, promašaja i lažnih obećanja, krajnje je vrijeme za temeljite promjene u politici upravljanja gradom, inače će se trendovi apatije i emigracije nastaviti sve dok jednog dana političarima ne odzvoni, jer više neće biti građana da iziđu na birališta.
