Jedna od prvih velikih britanskih reality zvijezda, Jade Goody, koja je preminula od raka vrata maternice 2009., a proslavio ju je Big Brother, te je vijesti doznala na najgori mogući način. Da boluje od smrtonosne bolesti, priopćili su joj telefonski drugi dan nakon što je ušla u kuću indijske verzije Big Brothera, piše Jutarnji list.

Snimka se pojavila deset godina nakon njezine smrti u novom dokumentarcu o njezinom životu ‘Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain’ i šokirala gledatelje. 

Naime, Jade je pristala na sudjelovanje u indijskoj verziji Big Brothera 2008. nakon što se godinu dana ranije našla na meti kritika zbog rasističkih komentara na račun reality kolegice Indijke Shilpe Shetty. No, majka dvoje djece već je nakon dva dana morala napustiti show i vratiti se u Englesku jer je dobila strašnu dijagnozu - rak vrata maternice. Vijest su joj saopćili telefonski u popularnoj ispovjedaonici showa, a producenti su odlučili emitirati njezinu emotivnu reakciju. Prikazali su i trenutak kad u suzama vijest prenosi ostalim stanarima i oprašta se od njih. Da stvar bude gora, Jade u tom trenutku nije znala da je sve to emitirano.

- Nisam imala pojma da snimaju razgovor. To jednostavno nije bilo u redu. Osjećala sam se užasno usamljeno jer sam bila posljednja koja je saznala dijagnozu i samo sam htjela da me netko zagrli - rekla je kasnije za Channel 4.

Obožavatelji su danas, deset godina kasnije ogorčeni zbog ove odluke indijske televizije, piše Daily Mail.

‘Ne mogu vjerovati da su emitirali trenutak kad je saznala da ima rak’, ‘Zamislite da vam saopće tešku dijagnozu na televiziji da cijeli svijet vidi… Dok ste tisućama kilometara daleko od prijatelja i obitelji, sami, okruženi strancima’, Skroz sam zaboravila da je Jade bila u indijskom BB-u kad je saznala da ima rak. Užasno je to što su prikazali snimku i što je nisu odmah izvukli iz kuće’, samo su neki od komentara na društvenim mrežama.

Dokumentarac u zadnjem dijelu pokriva posljednje mjesece Jadeina života, od dijagnoze do vjenčanja koje je organizirano mjesec dana prije njezine smrti, te sprovoda. Jade je nažalost dijagnozu dobila prekasno. Unatoč kemoterapijama i zračenjima rak se proširio na debelo crijevo, jetru i organe na području prepona. Britanka je tad odlučila da će nastaviti sa snimanjem realityja dok god može kako bi osigurala što veću financijsku pomoć svojim sinovima Bobbyju i Freddieju, danas 15 i 14 godina starim, o kojima je brigu preuzeo otac Jeff Brazier. 

 

Jade je umrla u snu 22. ožujka 2009. Imala je samo 27 godina. Uz nju su bili majka i suprug Jack Tweed.

Nakon njezine smrti obožavatelji, ali i brojne zvijezde hvalili su njezin potez što je do kraja s javnosti dijelila sve traume koje proživljava te tako svakako podigla svijest o raku vrata maternice i nužnosti redovnih pregleda. Njezina bitka s rakom potaknula je Državni zavod za zdravstvo na reviziju nacionalnog programa o obaveznim ginekološkim pregledima.

Svaki detalj njezine bolesti punio je stupce novina, časopisa i televizijskih emisija. Njezino zdravstveno stanje komentirao je čak i tadašnji premijer Gordon Brown. Jade Goody je radila kao 21-godišnja zubna tehničarka u južnom Londonu kad je preko noći postala slavna ušavši u Big Brother kuću. Tijekom boravka u kući uglavnom su joj se rugali zbog neznanja. Primjerice rekla je da se Cambridge nalazi u Londonu, a pogriješila je i neke druge zemljopisne pojmove. Tračala je sustanare, opijala se i skinula se uživo na televiziji. Kad su je izbacili iz showa glasovima gledatelja, proglašavali su je ‘najomraženijom ženom u Britaniji’.

Sinove je dobila u vezi s TV voditeljem Jeffom Brazierom, no s njim se razišla 2004. Dvije godine kasnije zaljubila se u reality zvijezdu Jacka Tweeda za kojeg se i udala prije smrti.

Jedna od prvih velikih britanskih reality zvijezda, Jade Goody, koja je preminula od raka vrata maternice 2009., a proslavio ju je Big Brother, te je vijesti doznala na najgori mogući način. Da boluje od smrtonosne bolesti, priopćili su joj telefonski drugi dan nakon što je ušla u kuću indijske verzije Big Brothera, piše Jutarnji list.

Snimka se pojavila deset godina nakon njezine smrti u novom dokumentarcu o njezinom životu ‘Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain’ i šokirala gledatelje. 

Naime, Jade je pristala na sudjelovanje u indijskoj verziji Big Brothera 2008. nakon što se godinu dana ranije našla na meti kritika zbog rasističkih komentara na račun reality kolegice Indijke Shilpe Shetty. No, majka dvoje djece već je nakon dva dana morala napustiti show i vratiti se u Englesku jer je dobila strašnu dijagnozu - rak vrata maternice. Vijest su joj saopćili telefonski u popularnoj ispovjedaonici showa, a producenti su odlučili emitirati njezinu emotivnu reakciju. - Nisam imala pojma da snimaju razgovor. To jednostavno nije bilo u redu. Osjećala sam se užasno usamljeno jer sam bila posljednja koja je saznala dijagnozu i samo sam htjela da me netko zagrli - rekla je kasnije za Channel 4.

Obožavatelji su danas, deset godina kasnije ogorčeni zbog ove odluke indijske televizije, piše Daily Mail.

‘Ne mogu vjerovati da su emitirali trenutak kad je saznala da ima rak’, ‘Zamislite da vam saopće tešku dijagnozu na televiziji da cijeli svijet vidi… Dok ste tisućama kilometara daleko od prijatelja i obitelji, sami, okruženi strancima’, Skroz sam zaboravila da je Jade bila u indijskom BB-u kad je saznala da ima rak. Užasno je to što su prikazali snimku i što je nisu odmah izvukli iz kuće’, samo su neki od komentara na društvenim mrežama.

Dokumentarac u zadnjem dijelu pokriva posljednje mjesece Jadeina života, od dijagnoze do vjenčanja koje je organizirano mjesec dana prije njezine smrti, te sprovoda. Jade je nažalost dijagnozu dobila prekasno. Unatoč kemoterapijama i zračenjima rak se proširio na debelo crijevo, jetru i organe na području prepona. Britanka je tad odlučila da će nastaviti sa snimanjem realityja dok god može kako bi osigurala što veću financijsku pomoć svojim sinovima Bobbyju i Freddieju, danas 15 i 14 godina starim, o kojima je brigu preuzeo otac Jeff Brazier. 

 

Jade je umrla u snu 22. ožujka 2009. Imala je samo 27 godina. Uz nju su bili majka i suprug Jack Tweed.

Nakon njezine smrti obožavatelji, ali i brojne zvijezde hvalili su njezin potez što je do kraja s javnosti dijelila sve traume koje proživljava te tako svakako podigla svijest o raku vrata maternice i nužnosti redovnih pregleda. Njezina bitka s rakom potaknula je Državni zavod za zdravstvo na reviziju nacionalnog programa o obaveznim ginekološkim pregledima.

Svaki detalj njezine bolesti punio je stupce novina, časopisa i televizijskih emisija. Njezino zdravstveno stanje komentirao je čak i tadašnji premijer Gordon Brown. Jade Goody je radila kao 21-godišnja zubna tehničarka u južnom Londonu kad je preko noći postala slavna ušavši u Big Brother kuću. Tijekom boravka u kući uglavnom su joj se rugali zbog neznanja. Primjerice rekla je da se Cambridge nalazi u Londonu, a pogriješila je i neke druge zemljopisne pojmove. Tračala je sustanare, opijala se i skinula se uživo na televiziji. Kad su je izbacili iz showa glasovima gledatelja, proglašavali su je ‘najomraženijom ženom u Britaniji’.
