Helen Mirren (71) ima reputaciju inteligentne glumice, a čak i prije 40 godina žestoko suprotstavljala stereotipima.

Tako je tada 30-godišnja Mirren u intervjuu iz 1975. godine razgovarala s voditeljem Michaelom Parkinsonom, koji joj je postavljao prilično neugodna pitanja o njenom tijelu.

"Smatrate li da vas vaša 'oprema' sprječava u tome da postanete uspješna glumica", pitao je voditelj glumicu.

"Voljela bih da mi objasnite što mislite pod opremom", odgovorila mu je.

"Mislite na moje prste?", nastavila je.

Parkinson joj je pojasnio kako je u stvari mislio na njezinu figuru, na što mu je Helen odgovorila: "Zato što ozbiljne glumice nemaju velike grudi?".

On potom govori kako grudi mogu skretati pozornost publike s izvedbe.

"Ah", uzvratila je bijesna glumica.

"Ne mislim da je to nužno istina. Vaša izvedba je loša ako su ljudi opsjednuti veličinom vaših grudi ili bilo čega drugoga. Nadam se da će izvedba, predstava i odnos svih na pozornici i svih iz publike nadvladati takva dosadna pitanja", odgovorila mu je sarkastično.

Intervju se nastavio u istom bezobraznom tonu, a Parkinson je počeo glumicu ispitivati i o njenom skidanju pred kamerama.

"Postoji puno razloga za skidanje odjeće na filmu, a jedan od njih je, taj što se snimaju iz komercijalnih razloga. To vam je muški šovinizam, sigurna sam da vi znate što je to", cinično se suprotstavila zajedljivom voditelju.

Helen Mirren (71) ima reputaciju inteligentne glumice, a čak i prije 40 godina žestoko suprotstavljala stereotipima.

Tako je tada 30-godišnja Mirren u intervjuu iz 1975. godine razgovarala s voditeljem Michaelom Parkinsonom, koji joj je postavljao prilično neugodna pitanja o njenom tijelu.

"Smatrate li da vas vaša 'oprema' sprječava u tome da postanete uspješna glumica", pitao je voditelj glumicu.

"Voljela bih da mi objasnite što mislite pod opremom", odgovorila mu je.

"Mislite na moje prste?", nastavila je.

Parkinson joj je pojasnio kako je u stvari mislio na njezinu figuru, na što mu je Helen odgovorila: "Zato što ozbiljne glumice nemaju velike grudi?".

On potom govori kako grudi mogu skretati pozornost publike s izvedbe.

"Ah", uzvratila je bijesna glumica.

"Ne mislim da je to nužno istina. Vaša izvedba je loša ako su ljudi opsjednuti veličinom vaših grudi ili bilo čega drugoga. Nadam se da će izvedba, predstava i odnos svih na pozornici i svih iz publike nadvladati takva dosadna pitanja", odgovorila mu je sarkastično.

Intervju se nastavio u istom bezobraznom tonu, a Parkinson je počeo glumicu ispitivati i o njenom skidanju pred kamerama.

"Postoji puno razloga za skidanje odjeće na filmu, a jedan od njih je, taj što se snimaju iz komercijalnih razloga. To vam je muški šovinizam, sigurna sam da vi znate što je to", cinično se suprotstavila zajedljivom voditelju.
