J. K. Rowling, slavna autorica knjiga o Harryju Potteru, primila je javnu prijetnju od ekstremista koji podržava Iran, nakon što je osudila napad na kolegu, britanskog pisca Salmana Rushdieja.

Rowling, koja je ranije bila na meti dijela trans-aktivista zbog svojih uvjerenja o spolu, objavila je na Twitteru koliko je prestravljena pokušajem atentata na Rushdieja, nakon čega joj je jedan od komentatora ispod njezina posta ozbiljno zaprijetio, piše Jutarnji list.

Rowling je, naime, u petak navečer napisala: "Užasavajuće vijesti. Trenutno se osjećam jako loše zbog toga. Neka bude dobro".

Meer Asif Aziz, opisan u svojem profilu na Twitteru kao "student, društveni i politički aktivist te istraživač", na to je slavnoj književnici odgovorio: "Ne brinite, vi ste sljedeći".

Ona je potom javno zatražila od Twittera da intervenira, upitavši njihovu službu za korisničku podršku: "Ima li šanse za podršku?", ali Azizov komentar nije uklonjen. Inače, Aziz je prethodno čovjeka uhićenoga za Rushdiejev napad, Hadija Matara, opisao kao "revolucionarnog šijitskog borca".

Rowling je potom potvrdila da se u slučaj uključila policija rekavši pratiteljima: "Svima koji šalju poruke podrške: hvala. Policija je uključena (već je bila uključena i u druge prijetnje)".

Najnovija prijetnja Rowling, pišu svjetski mediji, uslijedila je nakon napada na Salmana Rushdieja u petak, koji je izboden čak 15 puta na konferenciji u blizini Buffala u New Yorku, gdje je trebao održati predavanje o slobodi govora.

Rushdieju su iranske vlasti izdale fetvu 1989. nakon izlaska njegova romana "Sotonski stihovi", koja je kasnije povučena, ali je na snazi ostala raspisana nagrada za njegovo ubojstvo čiji je iznos u međuvremenu povećan. No osim pisca koji od 2000. živi u SAD-u, sad su očito na meti ekstremista i javna lica koja Rushdieju žele ozdravljenje.

J. K. Rowling, slavna autorica knjiga o Harryju Potteru, primila je javnu prijetnju od ekstremista koji podržava Iran, nakon što je osudila napad na kolegu, britanskog pisca Salmana Rushdieja.

Rowling, koja je ranije bila na meti dijela trans-aktivista zbog svojih uvjerenja o spolu, objavila je na Twitteru koliko je prestravljena pokušajem atentata na Rushdieja, nakon čega joj je jedan od komentatora ispod njezina posta ozbiljno zaprijetio, piše Jutarnji list.

Rowling je, naime, u petak navečer napisala: "Užasavajuće vijesti. Trenutno se osjećam jako loše zbog toga. Neka bude dobro".

Meer Asif Aziz, opisan u svojem profilu na Twitteru kao "student, društveni i politički aktivist te istraživač", na to je slavnoj književnici odgovorio: "Ne brinite, vi ste sljedeći".

Ona je potom javno zatražila od Twittera da intervenira, upitavši njihovu službu za korisničku podršku: "Ima li šanse za podršku?", ali Azizov komentar nije uklonjen. Inače, Aziz je prethodno čovjeka uhićenoga za Rushdiejev napad, Hadija Matara, opisao kao "revolucionarnog šijitskog borca".

Rowling je potom potvrdila da se u slučaj uključila policija rekavši pratiteljima: "Svima koji šalju poruke podrške: hvala. Policija je uključena (već je bila uključena i u druge prijetnje)".

Najnovija prijetnja Rowling, pišu svjetski mediji, uslijedila je nakon napada na Salmana Rushdieja u petak, koji je izboden čak 15 puta na konferenciji u blizini Buffala u New Yorku, gdje je trebao održati predavanje o slobodi govora.

Rushdieju su iranske vlasti izdale fetvu 1989. nakon izlaska njegova romana "Sotonski stihovi", koja je kasnije povučena, ali je na snazi ostala raspisana nagrada za njegovo ubojstvo čiji je iznos u međuvremenu povećan. No osim pisca koji od 2000. živi u SAD-u, sad su očito na meti ekstremista i javna lica koja Rushdieju žele ozdravljenje.

"Warner Bros. Discovery oštro osuđuje prijetnje upućene J. K. Rowling. Stojimo uz nju i sve autore, pripovjedače i stvaraoce koji hrabro iskazuju svoju kreativnost i mišljenje. J. K. Rowling, slavna autorica knjiga o Harryju Potteru, primila je javnu prijetnju od ekstremista koji podržava Iran, nakon što je osudila napad na kolegu, britanskog pisca Salmana Rushdieja.

Rowling, koja je ranije bila na meti dijela trans-aktivista zbog svojih uvjerenja o spolu, objavila je na Twitteru koliko je prestravljena pokušajem atentata na Rushdieja, nakon čega joj je jedan od komentatora ispod njezina posta ozbiljno zaprijetio, piše Jutarnji list.

Rowling je, naime, u petak navečer napisala: "Užasavajuće vijesti. Trenutno se osjećam jako loše zbog toga. Neka bude dobro".

Meer Asif Aziz, opisan u svojem profilu na Twitteru kao "student, društveni i politički aktivist te istraživač", na to je slavnoj književnici odgovorio: "Ne brinite, vi ste sljedeći".
