Bračni život ima svojih draži, ali i problema. I to toliko ozbiljnih da mogu uzdramati i sam brak. Seksualni odnosi svakako su jedan od njih. Tako je jedan očajni čitatelj za savjet o tim problemima uputio Guardianu.

"Supruga i ja smo u 40-ima i imamo sina tinejdžera. Prije nego što smo dobili sina, imali smo vrlo aktivan seksualni život i svatko od nas inicirao bi ga gotovo svakodnevno: cijelo vrijeme bismo dijelili fantazije. Nakon poroda želja je splasnula, razumljivo, ali posljednjih godina se smanjila gotovo na nulu. Oboje radimo od kuće i često me traži da joj noću masiram tijelo, ali to praktički nikada ne dovodi do seksa. Sada mi je teško započeti, jer kad to učinim, ona me odbija. Inicirala je nekoliko puta u posljednjih šest mjeseci, uvijek nakon alkohola. Seks nam je još uvijek dobar, ali čini se kao da to želi tek nakon pića. Kad sam to spomenuo, zauzela je obrambeni stav i kazala da imamo normalan seksualni život za naše godine. Trebam li odustati od ideje redovitog seksa i prihvatiti da je zadovoljavanje samog sebe u kupaonici sada norma?", upitao je on za savjet Pamelu Stephenson Connolly, američku psihoterapeutkinju koja se specijalizirala za liječenje seksualnih poremećaja.

"Paradoksalno, bliskost s nekim može smanjiti erotski naboj. Mnogi parovi koji provode dane i noći zajedno imaju smanjen seksualni interes. Pronađite načine da provodite vrijeme odvojeno, možda se baveći odvojenim interesima kao što su sport ili hobi. Uživanje u solo vremenu s prijateljima također može pomoći. Doživljavanje sebe kao produžetka druge osobe može učiniti da se osjećate sigurno i ugodno, ali malo je vjerojatno da će potaknuti strast u bilo kojem od vas. Tek kada svaki partner može drugoga promatrati kao zasebnu cjelinu – kao što je bilo na početku veze – tada se privlačnost i libido mogu oživjeti. I ne brinite o upotrebi alkohola - osim ako nije pretjerana. Nema potrebe da to shvatite osobno - vaša se žena samo pokušava opustiti i ‘raspoložiti‘", odgovorila mu je psihoterapeutkinja za Guardian.

Savjet je autoritativan i stručno elaboriran, zasnovan na psihoterapijskoj praksi u liječenju seksualnih poremećaja. Valjda će ga i čitatelj u 40-ima dobro pročitati i usvojiti savjete i spoznaje. Ako već radi od kuće, ne mora kod kuće provoditi i ostatak vremena, to više što bi povremeni odlazak iz doma mogao značiti i povratak strasti.

Bračni život ima svojih draži, ali i problema. I to toliko ozbiljnih da mogu uzdramati i sam brak. Seksualni odnosi svakako su jedan od njih. Tako je jedan očajni čitatelj za savjet o tim problemima uputio Guardianu.

"Supruga i ja smo u 40-ima i imamo sina tinejdžera. Prije nego što smo dobili sina, imali smo vrlo aktivan seksualni život i svatko od nas inicirao bi ga gotovo svakodnevno: cijelo vrijeme bismo dijelili fantazije. Nakon poroda želja je splasnula, razumljivo, ali posljednjih godina se smanjila gotovo na nulu. Oboje radimo od kuće i često me traži da joj noću masiram tijelo, ali to praktički nikada ne dovodi do seksa. Sada mi je teško započeti, jer kad to učinim, ona me odbija. Inicirala je nekoliko puta u posljednjih šest mjeseci, uvijek nakon alkohola. Seks nam je još uvijek dobar, ali čini se kao da to želi tek nakon pića. Kad sam to spomenuo, zauzela je obrambeni stav i kazala da imamo normalan seksualni život za naše godine. Trebam li odustati od ideje redovitog seksa i prihvatiti da je zadovoljavanje samog sebe u kupaonici sada norma?", upitao je on za savjet Pamelu Stephenson Connolly, američku psihoterapeutkinju koja se specijalizirala za liječenje seksualnih poremećaja.

"Paradoksalno, bliskost s nekim može smanjiti erotski naboj. Mnogi parovi koji provode dane i noći zajedno imaju smanjen seksualni interes. Pronađite načine da provodite vrijeme odvojeno, možda se baveći odvojenim interesima kao što su sport ili hobi. Uživanje u solo vremenu s prijateljima također može pomoći. Doživljavanje sebe kao produžetka druge osobe može učiniti da se osjećate sigurno i ugodno, ali malo je vjerojatno da će potaknuti strast u bilo kojem od vas. Tek kada svaki partner može drugoga promatrati kao zasebnu cjelinu – kao što je bilo na početku veze – tada se privlačnost i libido mogu oživjeti. I ne brinite o upotrebi alkohola - osim ako nije pretjerana. Nema potrebe da to shvatite osobno - vaša se žena samo pokušava opustiti i ‘raspoložiti‘", odgovorila mu je psihoterapeutkinja za Guardian.

Savjet je autoritativan i stručno elaboriran, zasnovan na psihoterapijskoj praksi u liječenju seksualnih poremećaja. Valjda će ga i čitatelj u 40-ima dobro pročitati i usvojiti savjete i spoznaje. Ako već radi od kuće, ne mora kod kuće provoditi i ostatak vremena, to više što bi povremeni odlazak iz doma mogao značiti i povratak strasti.
